LOL! There is no need of be afraid of getting older because it is inevitable and the more you try to younger yourself,
the fastest you get old and deformed (Plastic Surgery doesn't help). So just go with your life until the end.  Smiley

I'm officially getting older now. I can't say I'm noticing or feeling anything physically different but I do seem to be going bald which is really getting on my tits as my hair didn't budge a milimetre for the first 40 years. There are no wrinkles or grey hairs though.

I think the key to making the best of it is to keep refreshing. Stuff that was the pillar of your life in the past dies or fades away. You need to continue creating good things in your life, not looking back and whining and pining.

And pay some attention to that body of yours. Once you're past a certain age mother nature no longer has any use for you and she'll let you know it.

I really don't get people who fear death. All your problems are over. I couldn't give a shit if I died tomorrow. I desperately give a shit if it's gonna hurt.

I guess I would if I have an history of being vain. I mean I won't want to grow old and live all my 'treasures' behind.

I've already accepted my fate that getting old is inevitable. No one in this world will live forever.

Perfect clickbait thread for me - I'm 72.   Shocked

Perhaps these will be of interest: https://www.brainpickings.org/2016/01/07/donald-hall-essays-after-eighty/

or http://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2015/01/19/377702882/at-90-shes-designing-tech-for-aging-boomers

Edit. One more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh0PlR27qJ0

Plenty more if you search for them and forget about the stereotypes for a while.

Mortality sucks, but without it Caligula might be in charge instead of (insert your fave villain's name here).

For me it's not the fact of becoming older. I'm only worried to have a confortable life when I'll be too old to work hard or to think and do plans of the future. I just want to be happy and to have a big family, and not to be alone anymore. If I acomplish that I'll be ready even to die without remorse.
Now I am 25 so I still have time.

Not getting older is a much bigger problem than getting older. As long as you keep getting older every day, you are still alive Undecided
So no, I am not afraid of it. Plus, being a guy you become more attractive getting older. Shocked

You can't get older if you were never young.

Being old is going to be the new black. Take a look at the drug ads and adult diapers, just getting warmed up for the baby boomer bulge.

All you do when you ponder on the past and what you have not completed, is waste more time of the present not completing even more.  There is nothing you can do about the past but learn from it and change it.  None of us are getting out of this mess alive and once you come to that realization, all you can do is make the best of it and make life better for those you leave behind.

I have been waiting to get old since i was a child.
I am turning 41 this year and hell ya boooooi i got this biaaaatch !

Mid-life crisis hahah fuck nooooo gaaaaay

What the hell can i not do now that i couldn't when i was younger?

I can still easily pick up some hot piece of ass but now i know what to do with them LOL
Fuck being younger.. younger you are the dumber you are simple.

Afraid of death? no... why your brain gets tired of the concept.
A meteor could drop on your head any second but can you sit there and stress about it?
You could try but you would forget LOL
