I'm afraid and I'm not really afraid of the hackers because I don't really have that much money in my address.
This problem is also with me as I have nothing in wallet and never worried from hackers but still need to do some solid things for never happen any thing in future as its very important issue

Dont think you are not fear at all because you dont anything in your wallet but think when you have something valuable there, will you be afraid? If yes then find out how to prevent hacker from your wallet. Its not easy but its possible.

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
the question should be:- we all should be afraid of hackers or reasons to be afraid of hackers

                                                                   why

because they are attacking big corporations so attacking our home systems are child's play for them these big companies have mega security on the other hand the security we have are nothing to them so yes we shouid be afraid i am very afraid

If you are interesting enough and share to much private info how many coins holding you have and how you keep them etc... you are pretty much exposing yourself to attacks.

Regarding protection, as someone above said if you are someones target it's hard to avoid that. Lot of software used nowdays lot of flaws and backdoors and potential exploits available.

I am always afraid of hackers. I believe it is possible to hack everything, including apparat wallets. Shocked
The ONE thing you can't really ever hack, is a PROPERLY made cold wallet.

I'm talking... you download the proper encryption program thingy for the coin you're making the wallet for.

Then you get that computer, restart it without the internet. Then create the private key and generate some public addresses.

Write everything down by hand (not printed) on a piece of PHYSICAL paper without any kind of device help (because, yes, some people might be using some kind of augmented pen or paper... for some reason... yes.)

Then, shutdown the computer and completely wipe it. Wipe the hD, wipe the RAM, wipe the GPU RAM. Then reinstall OS and clear all cache in the process...

That wallet has never even touched the internet, and now doesn't really exist on your computer's anywhere. It's only on a physical piece of paper.

Of course a physical hacker can hack it by stealing the paper physically ^_^. But those aren't hackers, now are they?

It's prob the main thing that could make crypto irrelevant. Nothing is safe from hackers. Keep some gold and silver on hand incase the shit hits the fan

yeah, I'm pretty sure we're all hacked. Some people will violently disagree with me. But if anyone wanted your private keys, they already have it.

I'm not talking about just deep web hackers, I'm takling about governmental bodies too.

You've got weird malware that no one can check for, like the ones in the firmware of your printers, hard drives, GPUs, etc. The things you can't really scan for unless you were OCD enough and had the technical skills to do so.

Then you've got the NSA who we all know have a direct tap into the internet service providers' feed. They can see what's being sent out of your PC, even if you use Tor and other anonymizers. Because they intercept it before it gets to those.

So i'm sure that in a database somewhere, someone already has your sexts, private keys, and what not.

Of course I'm afraid of hackers, like many other people, but I'm afraid them not like those people who have big money on their accounts. I think that you need to be more careful in your actions and do not share your information with hackers.

I think it prudent to be cautious and wary of where you go and what information you provide.

I think for the most part, people who have lost money from their wallets were foolish enough to give too much information (or their actual private key)  to a stranger or simply used a passphrase that was common or too easy to hack.

While there are no guarantees, using extra-long passphrases (and a different one for each wallet) will give sufficient protection.

You always have to make great efforts to protect your personal data and private keys. It's normal behavior to worry about hackers. Do not open fake mails, do not click on unreal links. Write your domain names yourself in the browser address bar.
If your computer is well protected and you do not visit websites - scammers, then to ensure security it is enough to keep your keys in a safe place. To provide even greater security, you can use hardware wallets.

Yes of course. Hackers are good at stealing. They are professional in their dirty job. That's why all of us must be very careful amd wise. Always make your transactions secure. Do not put your trust easily onto something or someone.

I'm not worried that much myself.  Mostly because I don't have enough to be worth their time in most cases I'm sure.

I'm very scared of hackers. The main thing to be very careful and follow simple rules, for example, do not show anyone your private key, use trusted sites and do not download malicious programs.

I'm a bit scared .. But we also have to be vigilant and use the private key is the right step. We must make sure to keep money in a safe place. And hopefully the hackers can be handled and finished so that we become calm.

You would have to be worth hacking if it is directed at you. Im not afraid of that, I am however afraid sometimes of hacks on exchanges when I have funds there.
