Yes, but just a little part of it. I prefer to spend it in gambling or buying stuff instead of waiting the price do increase. I guess there were many people who sold their bitcoin when its price was decreasing few days ago. Seems you have to wait patiently, maybe around 1 years to reach atleast US$350. But yeah, its just a speculation of mine Smiley

There is no such thing as: I have too much of it to hold
Satoshi has too much of it.
Do you see him not holding?

Move On !!!!!!
I do have some coins that I am holding long term. The rest of them, I am trying to spend whenever I can to buy or pay something with bitcoin. In this way I am trying to help boost transactions and to spread the adoption.

I don't like to only hoard. Even though, when I buy something for a bigger amount of bitcoins, usually I go to the exchange and I get near the equivalent amount back. In this way I always have certain amount of coins.

In this way vsry often I get discounts when paying with bitcoins, like when using purse.io.

I always sell most % of the Bitcoins when I get it. And I keep small % of Bitcoin for price increase in future, as long term investment.

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...

Yes I'am holding and usually not spending unless it's an inve stement , like buying low and selling high occasionally . I guess we will see how things will go on the future with both XT fork and the halving block next July (next year) Hopefully we wil lsee a decent increase  Sad

I agree. Personally, I have a gut feeling that the bitcoin price will rise, but nothings guaranteed, of course. I've been hearing mixed debates about whether the fork will cause bitcoin prices to drop or rise, so I'm currently just holding onto mine until I find a reasonably good argument for one.

I can't hold it, I am using it like I would use the fiat, I buy with it whatever I want to buy online, either direct or through a third party but mostly I am gambling with it, I buy almost half a bitcoin every month now and spend it. Don't know if that's good or bad but if and when I have some money which I want to put into some savings, I'll surely buy more and put them into a cold storage but it also depends on which is going to win the consensus.

I'm trying to hold onto as many as I can but at the same time I also try and do all my purchases, where possible, in bitcoin so not always that easy to hold onto the coins I receive.

At least I know that those that I do manage to hold onto will be worth more, one day, compared to any fiat I'm holding on to.

Created a new paper wallet this past week and now try and drop 10 to 20% of everything I receive in there and to keep that for the long haul.

Yes, I'm holding to any Bitcoin I can hold, and with this recent downtrend pretty much all of the coins I own end up in a "savings" account, waiting for better days to trade and buy goods Wink
