Would you put Currency Trader on your resume?

Would you mention that you have been trading currency during a job interview?

If you solely make money with online trading and then apply for a job, what else would you put on the resume?

If you solely make money by trading why do you need to go to job interviews in the first place? Cheesy

I'm rather secretive. Even my family doesn't know what I'm doing. They know I'm an investor and that's it but I have other sources of income. I'm not a full time crypto trader or anything like that. If I were and had all my money invested I would be even more secretive.
I got that, there's no need to work or apply to work if you already gaining great amount of profits dealing with your trading activities, the financial advantage of this field gives us freedom to work under our own design, we move in which way we desire as long as we are getting our target profits.

No need to mentions anything about this benefits that we are enjoying, it's take some time before learning the deeper part of this industry so why
bother and waste time to communicate and talk about it if you can work secretly.

I don't tell people that I am into crypto trading or an crypto investor, I always keep it from people and I only tell my family. Why I don't tell people about my crypto job is because I am not the type of person that likes to let people know everything that I'm into, somethings are meant to be kept a secret and not to be shared with everyone you see. So if people ask me what I do I simply tell them about my daily job. But I once told my friend that I do cryptocurrency and since he has been thinking that I'm too rich, when I haven't even gotten much from cryptocurrency yet.

some points I also do the same thing with you,
I do not like to be known to my friends and family if I trade cryptocurrency,
that's why in the real world I just have to be considered unemployed.
but that doesn't matter, because the important thing is profit, not recognition from the community.

In my first involvement in crypto currency, I didn't tell anyone as I didn't know yet what will happen if I cannot give them the correct information that they want to hear. The same with my trading, though I am not a full time trader like other professionals who makes trading as their source of profit.

Being secretive is a good idea for me but other also wonder how I was able to get a large amount of money aside from my work. So there is still some disadvantages to it. Still I have not known anyone who do secret trading as what I am doing in my area because most of them are no how if we are going to talk about crypto currency.

I am open to those who knows I trade cryptocurrency and always glad to offer them the advice in account opening, basic trading ideas and how to avoid pitfall in trading. Keeping it secret prevent others who might be interested in trading and I think as a bitcoiner is my duty to expand the gospel of crypto.
Nothing to be worried, if they're interested then let them know. Let them do their own research and to learn by themselves is the only way to succeed, at least give them some ideas when needed.

Pixie I am not a full time trader either but I spend a lot of my time investing, trading, and learning more about it, like it is nobodies business.

However I do need to find an actual job... Does anybody have any employment ideas for people who secretly trade a lot? Grin

Trading has been a game and people or traders are not going to expose their really strategies to you. It is very difficult to really build a strategy that works and that is why no one is going to completely share it with others especially if he has started making profits from those strategies. I do keep my core strategies to myself because I have spent serious time developing them and since there are useful to me I kept them secret.
I don't really think there is any secret as regards trading crypto currency that one cannot fine or that is quite different from what people have shared in relation to technical and fundermental analysis, just that what works for you may not work for another person and not really that they are not aware of the same method.
Please can some of you who usually claim to be a good trader shows us some evidence of what you guys have made from trading crypto currency?

When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency.  I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too.

Does anybody relate to this?
Definitely I do get tons of this questions from people I meet on our day to day activities even on social media, I definitely tell up what I do, as a crypto enthusiast it will be notified all over you when all your concentration is on your gadgets all the time.

Sometimes I will check the charts at a Starbucks or at a library. Baristas and librarians are nosey and annoying. If they recognize a live crypto-currency trading exchange on the screen they will change and act differently with a competitive edge. For this reason I prefer trading in the privacy of my own home.

Once somebody asked me how I make a living and I told the person that I make extra income trading cyrpto-currency online and the persons behavior changed. They responded with a strange "I know somebody who does that...". It put them into a different mood in a way that they know a expert crypto trader of some kind but will not reveal any specific names...

In my country cryptocurrencies have a bad reputation even if nothing noteworthy has happened that involved them in a crime and I have my suspicions that it is nothing more but the media doing what it does best which is to misdirect the public from the important questions, as such I prefer to hide my trading activities and my involvement with crypto, this is something that can be quite difficult since the market of cryptocurrencies and everything it happens in it is slowly taking most of my free time.

Among my friends, I am seen as a person that have huge knowledge about cryptocurrencies and modern technology in general, but they've never asked me if I invest money in it, so I decided that i won't brag about it until someone asks me directly.

I do feel the same way, I once mentioned to a very close friend of mine that I have been trading cryptocurrency or bitcoin and the first thing my friend told me, oh noh that’s a scam and that i’m only wasting my time in bitcoins. It’s just sad that some people look down on bitcoin without really knowing what it is and what it can do. Now, I seldom open up to my friends about me trading because they might say something bad again. I’ll just do my thing and maybe soon cryptocurrency or bitcoin will just speak for themselves.

To tell you the truth, once they got interested in bitcoin and other crypto tradings, they become competitive. I have coworkers who are really curious about bitcoin, it's really hard to explain it to them. I usually argue with someone here who really do not understand how btc works. Sometimes, when they thought they knew about crypto trading and everything where in fact, they're not.  Over all, they ended up losing. Lol.

From my end here I do tell them I'm involved in bitcoin related stuffs trading, binary options etc while some are curious about it wanting to learn from me while majority admonished me to stay away guessing that I must have been involving in online scam but I wouldn't give a damn that won't deters or discourage me from my trading
Honestly I must admit I had made money from my crypto related activities and had been very supportive financially to my family.
Same here. It is not going to do you any harm if you disclose about the kind of coin you HODL. I openly discuss about Bitcoin and ETH and try to share about technicalities that newbies might find hard to get over. In addition, it is a kind of information for the people who do not know about Bitcoin when you share about Bitcoin or any other coin.

If someone ask my job, i not say that i am on crypto yet. Because they will curious and keep asking me how to do it. Especially when they see us success, they wouldn't know how struggle we are in trading activity and think it is easy money.
Trading cryptocurrency or any other currency is more difficult than any other job out there, anything that requires cracking of brain, strategy, reading of charts and many more can only be done by someone smart. So if anyone is curious to know what I am doing, I will be happy to let them know because it will make them to respect me and my intelligence.

I heard of a story recently of a guy that went to his friend’s out and saw how rich the guy his, and during the cause of discussion, he mentioned he was into crypto trading, he begged the friend to put him through but the guy advised that he visit a learning center as he may not have all the time for him to explain in details which he picked offense, but ever since he visited a learning center, he has been respecting his friend and understood that being a full time trade is not easy as he thought and take ones time.

It's a common scenario as people have different approaches. This is why most of the people including me tend to just keep it by ourselves (you aren't responsible to share everything what you know) so there will be no issue amidst making yourself more profitable than what your get from your full time job.
