I want to ask: Are Using A Journal or Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling?
I don't think so, it only shows that you're organized and you're making a journal out of it. So, that means that you're still in control and if ever your plan didn't go accordingly, you have contingency plans.

My reasoning is that by creating a spreadsheet or a journal, you are taking gambling seriously and looking for ways and a means to win in sports betting or luck-based games.
That's true because you've got a plan of growing your bankroll. We've got different descriptions about what addiction is but for me, I don't think that this is addiction.

Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
I do take my bets seriously but not to that point that it will cause me addiction.

There is a thread about a guy who created a thread about his bet and will make it his journal for betting

Hi everyone, I am going to attempt to turn 0.05 BTC into 1.7 BTC with football/soccer betting. I will be using this post as a journal for my bets.

Nah, mate, I don't think we need journals for our gambling bet on how much we are +/-. Might just put to much pressure on the gambling to let's say he see that he has been losing money already and so he continues to play just to break even.

But some of us are just enjoying or having some fun so this kind of journal will not serve any purpose.

And isn't if if he has reach 1.7 BTC then he should stop as he had that goal reach already. So regardless if you are going to write it down, it won't change anything as long as we you have a goal in your mind.

...gambling responsibly. Do not be addicted.

Gambling should just be for fun. I do not see having a journal to be good if you are gambling. What that is most important to gambers is to have a gambling budget and the gambling budget should be of very low amount of money. It is obvious that the guy is taking gambling seriously like he wants to use it to make money but that is just a way to addiction. If it will not lead to addiction, it is still just a way to lose that money.

Gambling is never amongst my source of payrolls so it don't see senses in creating a spreadsheet for monitorship.
I would only set-up a gambling budget and schedule myself on sequences of when and when not to gamble.

It is a game of luck and does not Worth keeping those record tracks.

To be honest, I want to start testing.

Using a spreadsheet, bankroll with 900$, doing 3 sections (Morning, Daylight, and Night) with a target of around 35$/each section. I just want to test these with around 1 month, and see the result.

I started around the middle of the month, at the time of getting my paycheck. If successfully reaching around 300-400$ profit, I will pull out my bankroll and starting using the profit for the bankroll.

I never do that I stick with my allocation and just rely on my analysis and other analyses, that is on sports betting and when it comes to luck-based games I rely on luck and hunch because using a spreadsheet on luck-based is totally useless I am more concerned on the time I spent I always wish that before I lose my bankroll I get more hours to enjoy my session.

No I don't have a journal or a spreadsheet period for me gambling is all about entertainment and having fun period anything more than this is getting addicted and needs to be nipped in the bud. The only time I can think about having a spreadsheet for gambling is to record my budget and how much I spent on gambling per month and have a total of it and the end of every year. I consider this part of my personal finances plan.
