You just can't expect that your kids want to be what you like to be. This is not the time where kids come along with their fathers to learn their trade and will inherit the business in the future.

Most of them today are more interested in playing online games. I'd like to start by teaching to play Axie or whichever game will be good for earning. Making this investment enjoyable for the kid. I'm sure he will find someone to chat with about tokens and BTC one day.
Most of the kids these days just want to have fun and pleasure like indulging theirselves in different online games. But if they can start earning from playing, that will be a very good motivation for them to be interested in bitcoin in the future. They can start saving their own income and when i think they have gone a long way, i will introduce to them about bitcoin investment and how it works. You will know if they are interested because they will surely keep on asking you but if not, i will still guide them as to what makes them happy. I know they can bring out the best in them if they are not forced or controlled.

I will definitely teach my kids the basics of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology but I won't force them to follow my path but just let them decide for themselves when they are old enough and aware of everything. Entering the market is a good thing as most parents want their children to take over their business, but apart from crypto there are many jobs that can earn more so they relax and should respect their decision.

Neither did our parents force us to follow their path, so we should not force our children to follow our will.
Teaching and guiding them about bitcoin will always be part of my goals when my children are already mature enough to understand cryptocurrency and its volatile market. But if i think they're not really interested to continue what i have been doing, then maybe i'll just let them find their own passion. Forcing them about bitcoin has never crossed my mind, controlling them won't do good for them. Let they find their art and passion in life, as much as i found art and passion in bitcoin. At the end of the day, whatever they want to do in their lives, parents should always guide them but not to control them.

This is not a matter of what we can do as individuals, it is a complex social activity, which begins by changing the backward teaching structure that has not been changed for years in its basic concept of a desk and a blackboard.

It is necessary to make a change of general paradigms, these changes in all social and cultural spheres, will lead future generations to understand that there are technologies that are immediate solutions and better than the existing ones. e.g. Bitcoin.

We are in a digital era where young kids already familiar with modern technology. Some schools are already doing great in that aspect of exposing young children to certain new technology and trends following the full PG guidelines. I think it is good to gradually introduce the idea to them and as time passes they will come to understand it much more as they grow.
Doing this will give them clear understanding of the tech and disregard all the negative news about btc on the Internet.

I think parents should rather focus on teaching their kids good values at an early age, than forcing them to grow up too early. Kids should enjoy their freedom in their early days and they should spend the time to form social bonds with other people and also develop their young bodies to have a healthy and long life.

We have too many kids that are spending way too much time on computers and cellphones and their pre-teen and teen years are speeding past them. Let them have a healthy relationship with their team mates in Sports and also social time with friends and then you can invest in their future, by teaching them how to make money. (A good time to start will be between 16 and 18 years... when most of the basic development are done.)  Wink

Let kids be kids.... that early development is key to a balanced future.  Wink
I din't think it's too early to start giving some very basic money management education when kids are 10-12. At the end some kids make their own lemonade stand or family businesses in the free time to make some extra money, I don't see a big difference. And again, at that age kids are like sponges, they absorb a lot of information, already having some kind of space in their brain related to money and economics is just going to help them in the long run.
The early the better as long they do already into the point that they could able to understand things and wont really be distracted on other things like playing or something but this should be not on the sense that it would really pressure your kids on learning some with crypto. As long they could able to understand out then i dont see any issues with this. You could teach them as early as you could but be sure
that they are serious on listening into you or completely able to understand on what you are talking about.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.
My little girl is 3 years and 4 months. Right now she is busy with Nastya, KidsCamp, Cocomelon and recently she got Sofia Little Princes. She is learning. Always next to me with her touch screen laptop and when laptop is not available then on phone. It's hard these days to keep kids away from these gadgets but it is what it is.

When she will start learning her things and will see dad is busy with some computer numbers then may be she will get interested to it. I would not chose anything for her. I will give my best to show her, explore her what she needs to survive but she will need to chose her things.

However I will feel happy if she develop her knowledge in blockchain and crypto.

This does not even mean that you need to have kids to be able to teach them about bitcoins, you can influence them as a teacher as well. I used to teach in Ukraine before the war broke out and some of the kids from the age of 5 were already involved in courses related to cryptocurrencies. Now these kids would reference to Bitcoins and ask me questions and other kids would be equally interested as well...
Very rightly said, we often preach of how we can contribute our quota to increasing the popularity of bitcoins, this is a medium to achieve this common goal, it is also strategic because kids are very important to the future. Not necessarily only your kids should we teach, but any kid at all that gives you an audience. Kids are very curious most time and we can always capitalize on that. In your little conversation with them, mention bitcoins and cryptocurrency to them to spur up their interest, make the concept behind bitcoins and crypto simple enough for them to easily understand and not get bored because kids can get bored very easily.

They say kids are the future, if the future begins to have a better understanding of crypto now, the future will certainly be bright, let's all play our part.

The dream of every successful businessman or woman is to have a good successor. you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth. Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind, let them know that bitcoin has changed the economy of countries who saw the light in it and adopted it as a means of doing transactions.

Now that your kids are young and vibrant, be their tutor, ensure they are bitcoin oriented, save them from financial dependency, encourage them to rely on bitcoin instead of saving fiat currency that Depreciates now and then.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

I use Bitcoin and when I decide to have kids, I will, of course, teach them about it, but, much like for Welsh, for me, it's not about having a successor or business. It's about valuing financial freedom, being critical of institutions and being pro-decentralization. This ideological part is IMO more important than the part where Bitcoin is a good investment. And it's important to let kids make their own choices, I think, rather than push them in certain directions and make financial decisions for them. Independent thinking is crucial, and nurturing it is not something that should be neglected.

You sound like someone trying to sell BTC through an advertisement op. Anyway, teaching the younger generation about BTC and other cryptocurrencies isn't a simple task primarily due to the tough learning curve associated with them.

I have been a part of the crypto world for sometime now and I still don't understand some of the various complicated concepts associated with cryptocurrencies and related tech.

A solution needs to be designed to this problem to help attract new investors(Young and Old) easily thanks to an easier learning curve in my opinion.

This was honestly very much a great idea since I do think most of them would grow up in a crypto positive household and at the same time they would also have more financial freedom as well, thereby changing the whole community.

Bitcoin and crypto are volitile assets and should not be forced on kids. There are things meant to be taught kids and there are things for adults. Bitcoin is an adult education and should not be used to border kids that will be learning common sense education. The best a parent should do is to show kids his/her private keys incase of demise. Whenever they grow up, they will learn the technology invoke at their time.
I disagree with you because bitcoin is a currency which is not familiar to everyone, so at this time everyone supposed to know cryptocurrency from child because it has spread worldwide and soon it shall dominate fiat currency, learning it from child will give majority of them more insight, i denote that while some people are criticizing cryptocurrency is because they don't know the relevants of cryptocurrency. So from what i understand so far without your child knowing the concept of cryptocurrency it will not be possible for it to use your private key to import your coins when you departure, so every bitcoiner is advised to teach he or her kids the foundation of bitcoin from child

you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth.

I know it is very challenging for parents nowadays in changing their children's orientation and thoughts, one can do his best in showing them the way but it is their decision to follow the path they desire, but at least you've acted your path and play your role as parent.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

It is very easy in convincing children but what about the adults, those that knows the difference between left and right are the most difficult being to convince, as at this present dispensation many grown up youths and governments are yet to believe the role of bitcoin in this current digital world economy, lots of work needed to be done in this regards as well.

Well, I really don't see the need to teach it right now to my son, even more so in the future. This is because he is still 4 years old at the moment and by the time he grows up, bitcoin along with the entirety of this industry will be more known here in my place so he will probably be able to learn it by himself. And it would be better for that to happen since it would be by his own accord making him become more enthusiastic about learning and earning through countless opportunities within this industry.

Teaching the basic lesson of how to use bitcoin to our kids is a must so they can use it without having a problem when they are growing up. They are our asset to continue what we do now, and without teaching them rightly, they can't use bitcoin right and will be confused. Although the internet can help them get more information about bitcoin and how to use it, the internet will be full of people who want to steal their money.

I am trying to teach them based on their ages so they can accept my lesson without a problem, and I can increase the lesson following their ages. Hopefully, by doing that, they will not feel difficult and confused about the lesson, and they can ask me if they want to know more details.

Well from the question itself, I can obviously say no since I have yet to have some children but most of my family members are aware of what I am doing.

When I first entered this forum last 2017 and participated into campaign signatures, that gave me this sense of responsibility of sharing this method to my peers. Since living in a third-world country is definitely financial challenging, any form of alternative income generated through the means of convenience is welcome, especially that the current wage is here below $15/day.

Now that my friends and family members are aware, it is up to them if they want to pursue this kind of opportunity. I can only go as far as telling and explaining to them what cryptocurrencies are, but it is still their decision whether they want to further pursue it or not.

Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

Teaching Bitcoin and its basics or giving them knowledge isn't enough for me.

I'd rather teach my kid financial management and the importance of holding your own money than putting your money into a third party like banks. I think teaching Bitcoin alone isn't enough because sure you can teach them Bitcoin but lacking those traits and skills that is related to finance and it will kinda be useless. You can teach Bitcoin to them but it will be useless if our kid doesn't know how to save or at least hold it or doesn't know how to invest in general.

I will teach my kid in the future Bitcoin or crypto in general as well as financial management and I will do it at a young age.

I already had plans for my unborn kids for Bitcoin education, awareness and investment in place, immediately after my first child is giving birth to ,I will create a Bitcoin wallet for my kid immediately and have at least $100 worth of Bitcoin deposited every month into the wallet so by the time he or she is grown up, I will give all the knowledge I have regarding Bitcoin and when I'm satisfied he or she is much aware and have had a good knowledge of how the system works , then I will surprise my kid with the Bitcoin which I have been saving from the time of birth to begin his or her own journey of life.

Perhaps the age of 10 years is also very early for a child, but some basics can already be explained to him. And to protect children from gadgets in our time is almost impossible, my friends have a child of 2.5 years old and he is so used to watching cartoons from the phone while eating that now he refuses to eat without cartoons. We can say that the parents are to blame, but many of my friends have this situation.

It's the story of every house no matter in which country you are living. Parents find this an easy escape to keep there kids engaged rather then playing with them. There are negative consequences of this approach that will be seen as your child grow up.
Most of us wanna transfer this knowledge to there kids just to make sure the hard work won't go in vain.
