My prediction was also wrong regarding my favorite team which turned out to lose in the semi-finals. In the AFC Asian Cup last season, Japan managed to reach the final but lost in the final by Qatar. And 2019 is the first time Qatar has won the Asian Cup. And if this year Qatar wins the title again, it means this will be Qatar's second Asian Cup title. This shows that the development of football in Qatar has indeed made very rapid progress from several years ago until now.

But for Jordan, perhaps this is the first time they have been able to qualify for the final round in the Asian Cup. And if they win then it will be a surprise for all. Because actually it will be very difficult to beat the host who is supported by many fans.

Jordan already made history for their national team as it is their first Asian Cup final match. Qatar seems to become a new big team in Asia even in World Cup 2022 at their home land, they did not have good performances while Iran and Japan had impressive performances.

This player generation already helped Qatar to have to Asian Cup final matches and won one title. This shows their strategy is good enough, at least in Asian and if they continue, they will improve their performances in World Cup. The success of Qatar also can give confidence to Saudi Arabia with their strategy to build up their domestic league, Saudi Professional League, as a foundation for their stronger national team. But Saudi Arabia must invest more money in their academies for youth players.

Watched the entire match actually and it was a thrilling one. As South Korea fell the day before then you knew anything was possible since Iran was the in the exact same position as the Koreans being the favorites of their match.
Qatar were even lucky enough in the last few minutes of regulation to have Iran receive a red card just outside their own box. The defender was jumping up for the ball and the Iranian player just grazed him, but it was a foul no doubt.
The 13 additional extra minutes for stoppage time was excessive but the way the host nation were playing it didn't matter especially with the one man advantage.
This was a rather exciting match to watch and would be thrilling enough for me to watch the final with Jordan.

The semifinal match yesterday was so interesting because as a host Qatar status is not the favourite but indeed i can see Qatar didn't dominate the game and during the match Iran was successfully to make them under pressure but Qatar didn't panic and they focusing to their defense which sometimes to threaten Iran defensive lines through an counter attack strategy and Qatar players looks patiently to wait until Iran lost to focus and 3rd goal from Qatar was happened when Iran too focus to attack which make Iran players didn't believe it happend but Almoez Ali who escape from offside trap was successfully to scored goal and bringing Qatar to advances to the final match

Since this tournament begin Qatar is not the first favourite team to gets the trophy from this competition because people were more likely to support Japan or South Korea as strong teams but Qatar has been showing their consistency since group stages and now they can able to reach to the final match two times in a row and on Saturday they will fight for the trophy and Jordan also want to make a history with gets their first trophy in this competition so let see it later whether Qatar can able to defend their title or Jordan who can gets the title for the first time and i haven't checked the odds yet but i will assume Qatar is the favourite this time

What I was worried about actually happened and this is a final between underdog teams and I think it is quite difficult to determine who will win the Asian Cup this year. Both teams started from the round where they were not favored enough, but being able to reach the final round was something that had never happened before. Maybe by reaching the final, as hosts Qatar will get full support from their fans and they will not waste this final match.

Jordan's positive trend is likely to continue and in fact they are the team that can win the Asian Cup title rather than Qatar and also considering that this is the main target to win the title, Jordan will go all out against Qatar later. Now the winning mentality of both teams will be tested in the final match and whoever wins, I think both are worthy and I hope that whoever loses will also accept the result and appreciate their struggle until this final round.

Finally AFC Asian Cup have been in the final round and many people had wrong predict with the final match most of them favorite Japan vs South Korean but the fact Jordan vs Qatar. For Qatar seems possibility raise to final round of AFC Asian Cup because they are host and easily with several matches get advantage from referee.

Acceptable or not its the final ideal for AFC Asian Cup 2023 and most closer for Qatar become the winner, they will got advantage when the final match supported by their fans than Jordan,  but looking how the unpredictable result when Jordan success eliminated South Korean I have optimistic will make surprise the final match result. The final match will play on Saturday and excited waiting the result or possibility will Qatar success winning AFC Asian Cup back to back? after last edition success become the winner.

The final was not what many people predicted, but between Jordan and Qatar, it was Jordania who made it to the final that was the most surprising, even though they were quite helped because in the quarterfinals they only faced Tajikistan but managed to beat South Korea, a very surprising achievement from Jordan.
So what about the final results, will Jordan still continue its positive trend? Honestly, I doubt that Qatar as the host will actually get an advantage because they will face a relatively weaker team so the opportunity to become champion and defend the title is very wide open, but if Jordan manages to become champion then this will be their first Asian Cup title if I'm not mistaken and proves that there is quite good development in Asian football because it is not dominated by Japan, South Korea, Australia or Saudi Arabia because the team that was not the favorite managed to appear surprising.

But the ideal final did not happen. because Jordan was able to beat South Korea. and last night Qatar was able to beat Iran. and in the 2024 Asian Cup final there was a match in the final of 2 non-seeded teams that brought together Jordan vs Qatar.

For Qatar we are not too surprised because so far they have indeed experienced an improvement in performance and as hosts they have a good chance while Jordan we really didn't expect it and honestly this is not the final we hoped for because previously I thought Iran would be one of the candidates to go to the final.

I think this is what will make the final match more exciting. Most of the fans of the two teams are Arabs in general, and they will find themselves at a somewhat funny crossroads because they were all supporting the Arab teams in general. No one can predict whether the majority of them will support Qatar or Jordan, and there is no clear basis for that at all.

While reading the previous comments, I was interested in studying the different impressions, all of which fluctuated between Qatar winning as host of the tournament or Jordan being the star of the event. Well, as I predicted if Qatar won this match. even though in reality, Iran is far favorite than its opposing team. even based on FIFA rankings, these two teams are quite far apart. Iran is ranked 21st, while Qatar is ranked 58th. Likewise based on odds, Iran with odds @1.73, while Qatar with @5.20. in this match, the two teams played quite evenly even though Iran had slightly more control of ball possession. based on chances, Iran had 22 total shots, 5 on target, 6 big chances, 1 hit the goalpost. meanwhile, Qatar only had 15 total shots, but 8 of them were on target, 5 were big opportunities. Technically, the two teams played quite evenly. In this match, Iran took the lead in the 4th minute, but Qatar was able to equalize in the 17th minute. after that, Akram Afif was able to put Qatar ahead to 1-2. In short, the match ended with a score of 2-3.

In the end, Qatar has the right to advance to the final round where they will face Jordan. so according to my estimates, Qatar will at least return to the final round of this competition. however, what I didn't expect was that the match ended within normal minutes, when at first I thought the match would last until extra time, and even potentially a penalty shootout. in the end, a word of congratulations to Qatar and the gamblers who bet on the Qatar national team. in the Iranian camp, the Iranian national team had to accept that it would eventually be overthrown by Qatar. well, we are just waiting for the final match of this championship between Jordan versus Qatar.

The Iran game against Qatar was a very emotional game, I watched the whole game, and I confess that before the game started I was thinking that it could be a boring game, as I have seen the games in this competition with more fouls and a lot of wasted time. opportunities to score a goal and I have also noticed a very low quality in the teams, but even so I decided to watch this game in its entirety, and I was shocked by the speed at which Iran scored a goal, so I thought that Iran would win the game, especially because Iran scored a goal in the 4th minute of the game, it was something that made me think about betting on them, but I thought about waiting to see how Qatar would react and I was very right to have waited because in the 17th minute Qatar scored the equalizing goal and Therefore, both teams had a chance of winning the game.

But to my surprise, even though Qatar was winning the game, the bookmakers were giving 2.00 to Qatar and 3.00 to Iran, as if the game was balanced and apparently the bookmakers were right. Iran benefited from a penalty and scored the equalizer. but Qatar was not shaken by this and continued playing in such a way that they managed to score the third goal, but the bookmakers placed Iran as the favorite even though the odds were 2.00 for Iran and 6.00 for Qatar

This was when the game was draw, as Iran kept putting pressure on Qatar's defense a few times, so the bookmakers were looking at Iran as favorites and were greatly underestimating Qatar. In my opinion, the difference between these two teams was the following: Iran did not have accurate attackers, they kept wasting opportunities, while Qatar had efficient attackers who scored goals even with little opportunity, which is why Qatar managed to win the game. and with this victory, qatar is in the final of the competition and will play against jordan. Honestly, I didn't expect these two teams to reach the final of this competition.

Was over 5.5x on Qatar to win the match and as the odds suggest, It was a surprising result in the end as Iran opened the scoring very early into the match, but by half time. Qatar scored twice and took the lead. Just when Iran scored quickly again, after the resumption. However, Qatar had the last laugh as they scored their 3rd and later with Iran going down to 10 men, it was almost impossible to make a comeback again. Congrats to Qatar for making it to the finals. I'm sure not many would've expected them to make it through.  

Unexpected finalists Jordan and Qatar are going to battle it out to win the Asian Cup 2023!

It was a very exciting match between Qatar and Iran in the qualifiers for the final.
By the 80th minute, the score had reached a 2-2 tie before Qatar was able to achieve a third goal due to a gap in the Iranian defense that the players exploited well.
Hope returned to Iran when the referee granted 13 minutes of stoppage time, but they were surprised by the exit of an Iranian player after receiving a red card after he had previously received a yellow card.

Thus, the Arabs secured the Asian Cup, since the final will be between Jordan and Qatar, the host of the tournament.

All Asian football fans did not expect Jordan to be able to beat South Korea and reach the final round because Jordan was not good during the group stage. History will happen if Jordan manages to win the Asian Cup if he manages to beat Iran or Qatar who are still playing to a draw.

Iran and Qatar are equally strong in their game. However, Qatar is more daring in carrying out attacks with the number of shots reaching more than 10 times now.
Qatar in the first half was better in attack because Afif played quite agile.

Qatar has an advantage in this match, this time Qatar is the host. Which makes Qatar much more enthusiastic about reaching the final later. The ideal final between South Korea vs Iran has failed and as a substitute for South Korea, there will be Jordan who is ready to wait for Iran in the final. As we know, South Korea's defeat was unexpected and they were even pressured by Jordan's play. The result was 2-0 in Jordan's favor and they advanced to the Asian Cup final after defeating one of this year's champion candidates.

Actually, with a result like that, we also have to be wary of other possibilities, such as Qatar succeeding in beating Iran later and this will be a mindblowing final like never before. For example, in the final round Jordan vs Qatar will break all previous predictions and superior teams such as Japan, Iran and Korea will be eliminated. But what is clear is that we will know the answer later and of course we are waiting for the results of the match between hosts Qatar and Iran which will take place in one hour.
