~snip~

maybe what he meant was satoshi nakamoto as the pioneer of the creation of bitcoin. that might be the argument for him. because sathosi is Japanese. that's my opinion

Then who told you that Satoshi Nakamoto is Japanese?Just because the name sounds like one?

Theres no proof about the nationality of the cryptocurrency founder and so as all the bitcoin holder the whole world so stop assuming about we know everything because the truth is only the person involved is the witnesses and its not us

Though asian is a big continent it doesn't mean we hold the majority of the said coin, but for me personally theres a big possibility because japan’s adaption of bitcoin is one proof of how large the market in asia

bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
I think there is no data about that? cmiiw. I think the most bitcoin holders is in Asia especially China, USA and Russia, in my country here Indonesia, i'm sure the bitcoin holders here is more less than China bitcoin holders. Even bitcoin made by satoshi, but that is not means the majority of users will be also Asians.

I dont think bitcoin was born in Asia. Its hard to say that majority asians is bitcoin holder because there is no data about it. Many people in asia still dont know about cryptocurrency because the lack of information. But i do agree that many asians are bitcoin holder not speculator

afaik bitcoin is made in the u.s because inventor satoshi nakamoto is from the u.s though at first glance you can notice that his name is kinda japanese or chinese but it is actually a code name of a single person or maybe a group of people to hide his/thier identity from the public , so that they could avoid any threats .

most asian countries do also now legalize and use bitcoin and other cryptos  but i guess asian country is not the leading when it comes to bitcoins hodlers .

Since Asia is very populated continent, maybe this one is true but we cannot say that we owned a huge volume of bitcoin because of the rich person from Europe and America. Bitcoin is from Asia but it doesn’t mean everyone use this, it looks like European country and America are more open about cryptocurrency than Asian countries.

Crypto users in Asia are also not inferior to Europe that holds a lot of bitcoin. We know together that the Nakamoto Satoshi who created Bitcoin came from Asia, namely from Japan, so that Asia should not be underestimated by countries in the European continent. and America without being from Asia other countries cannot know about bitcoin, therefore many are interested in bitcoin because bitcoin has a good future even this is called new technology which is growing in the wider community in the world.

We don't know Satoshi came from Japan just because he chose a Japanese sounding screen name. From an analysis of his posts on this forum, it is most likely he is a native English speaker, possibly from one of the commonwealth countries based on his spelling of certain words. There's actually no evidence I'm aware of that suggests Satoshi is actually Japanese or of any Asian descent. Further, Satoshi's nationality isn't and shouldn't be a factor about what nationality is "best" for Bitcoin, and the question itself is kind of stupid. Absolute number of owners is at least a question that can be answered, although I'm not sure for what purpose it would matter.

as we can see japan, Despite being home to the two largest cryptocurrency heists in history totaling nearly a billion dollars and a traditionally conservative financial tendency the Japanese market is still enthusiastic about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In April of 2017, the Japanese government became the first to amend their banking act to recognize cryptocurrencies as both methods of payment and asset holdings.

Yes from my personal experience Asia is much more accepting of cryptocurrency than other countries.  Especially in Japan where a large number of citizens hold some bitcoin.

Maybe,Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world is true.Eventhough China is against bitcoin flow and cryptocurrency. Most of the people in China had involved in trading and Mining. Because cryptocurrency related business is most profitable one. Actually I accept your point about Japanese involvement in cryptocurrency.
Japan are belong to Asian side where bitcoins holders are more than anywhere. I think we are on the top of the list since bitcoin was born in asian side.

Bitcoin wasn't born in Asia. Nobody knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is. Although he uses a Japanese name, doesn't mean his real identity is Japanese. Don't forget the fact that Satoshi write perfect English. I found it unlikely that he's Asian.

Bitcoin is pseudonymous so I guess it's pretty much impossible or very hard to tell how much Bitcoin is owned by whom. But I'm guessing, this is a very rough guessing, that Chinese and Americans are among the top.

Why others claim that Asia is where the majority of all bitcoin holders can be found? AFAIK, there is no accurate statistic regarding this issue (at least for now) so . Actually, I'm having a doubt that Asia really dominates because of the technological gap occuring among its small countries compare to the America and European regions. Asians have a very large population, but for me, they are not the most adopters of crypto.

I've also seen many posts stating about how sure they are that Satoshi Nakamoto is a Japanese. Well, I understand if others might actually think of it because "Satoshi Nakamoto" sounds like a Japanese name but we are still not really sure about that. Some also speculate that he came from the West because of fluent English skills (based on the whitepaper), he could be Nick Szabo etc. (Reference: https://blockonomi.com/who-is-satoshi-nakamoto/). Nevertheless, I think his true identity not matters the most this time, his outstanding breakthrough does Smiley.

NavI_027 I agree with you with everything, mostly with part where you say there isn`t accurate statistic regarding this issue. Recently I was reading about Bitcoin
and one article draw my attention:
Global Bitcoin node distribution, we all know how much equipment is needed to maintain Bitcoin global infrastructure. Nice article and people can learn something from
this. There is a nice picture too:

As it seems, from this picture, most active nodes are in US, and Suriname, little country near Brazil, after that comes Asia, Europe and Canada, Australia. This picture
doesn`t show nothing about holders, but it show fully functioning nodes, and more nodes there are, more active people support it.

indeed bitcoin was born in Asia with the name of the creator of Satoshi Nakamoto who came from JAPAN, but not only Asians who use it, even the whole world for example themos, so because bitcoin is a land to earn money, so it will be very difficult to ensure that the users of bitcoin only Asia. Probably because asians are in need of money. But then if we take a look, western countries are the one who considered the potential of bitcoin, this implies that they understand that it is the future and this is what the government of some asian countries did not realize. There is wrong in the government system. Maybe capitalism is not there that is why.

This opinion can be stemmed from a fact that most bitcoin miners are from this Asian country to continue and consider those holding bitcoins there as well. It has something to do with the incorrect information or the creator of a bitcoin in fact is the Asian country. There are many patronages in Asia, but large whales are on the west.

Although bitcoin was born in Asia but I'm not sure if there are many bitcoin holders in Asia, we can see the region that has legalized bitcoin I think the region outside Asia is the biggest. So with strong support and adoption, I think there will be many bitcoin holders in the region. Because I think there are still many countries in Asia that have not legalized bitcoin, so how will you hold a lot of bitcoin while the government has not legalized it.
