So is the timer in original post the correct ending time or not?

Considering people already have bids in, it has to be.

I didn't state it in the auction, but as long as I'm paid before dividends are paid out, the dividends will certainly be forwarded.  If you own the shares, the dividends aren't mine.  With how busy Friedcat has been, it's very possible that the transfer won't be done in time either way.

Great news above!

Because there aren't enough bids to support selling 575 shares on any of the exchanges, and doing so, even slowly, would depress the price quickly. Doing an auction allows for a better price, assuming market demand is there.
Correct.  Also, some people prefer to own the shares directly instead of using a passthrough exchange (even though the current PT owners are quite trustworthy).  Lastly, it'll take me additional time to move the shares to a passthrough.

Cuz OP is asking to trade without escrow I will say I have traded with him in the past and found him to be trustworthy. I would trade with him without escrow.
Grin  Thanks, Goat!

The current end time is better for bidders to enable shares are paid for and transferred in time for this weeks dividend. Just my opinion.

He's accepting escrow.

"This auction will be done without escrow unless you want to pay the fees"

I won't bother using it if I win my 200 shares. I trust OP.

Highly interested in his new project btw.
What new project?

I knew people couldn't edit posts in the auctions forum, but I figured the OP could still edit posts.  Apparently I can't.  I'll try to see if a mod can edit it for me to end the auction on May 22nd at 1:00 AM UTC (if it isn't against the rules).  This should put the auction ending in the evening for those in the US.  If it can't be edited, the original time still stands.

Then, why didn't he sell them on btct?

Are these shares the same as ASICMINER-PT?  Can they be traded on btct.co?

They're direct shares, the same as btct.co except you need to transfer them to the exchange to trade.  Here are the instructions on how to transfer shares.
