This is probably a dumb question... but where is ASICMINER located exactly and where will these be shipping from? As we see from Avalon batch 1, customs delay does matter a lot, especially since the expediency of these blades are their major selling point Tongue

Friedcat,

Does the direct network connection support stratum?  Are backup pools implemented?

Here's a thought: Would you accomodate UK shipping? I wouldn't mind paying extra.

I believe that these will be shipped anywhere worldwide(but will be subject to customs delays... Not sure what can be done about that).

Man, getting expensive already.

1 @ 32

I thought my bid was within the range but man, you guys can have them.   Are people actually doing calculations on the profitability?   When you are talking $1500.00 profit in 90 days with more hashing coming online, seems to be really risky.   I know we are all excited about these but dang  Wink

As a shareholder, it only gets better with higher prices. What you have to keep in mind is these device will arrive sooner than Avalon batch 2 (for some folks). While they're only a fraction of the power, you get these right away. With Avalon batch 2 resells going so high, this isn't too unexpected.

Whatever the price ends up being, I think it'll be out of my price range, as my power costs are quite high ($0.30 /KWh).  Which is a shame.

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.
Can you also recommend a compatible 12V DC/10A power supply for use with these?  What power supplies are you using for them in the ASICMINER farm?

What is the exact power expenditure on these?  We looking at roughly 600w?

Here's an idea - why not read the first post of the thread?

ASIC-Powered Efficiency Each blade consists of 32 hashing chips. It has the baseline speed of 10GHash/s, the rated speed of 10.752GHash/s, and the maximum speed of 12.829GHash/s with overclocking and proper cooling. The power consumption is 83Watts per blade in room temperature on rated clock and voltage.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe 120 watts per blade based on (12dcv @ 10 amps)
