My transactions also show up at blockchain.info as unconfirmed, but not in my client. This has happened a couple of times before with ASICMINER dividends, but other unconfirmed transactions seems to show up in my client after seconds or minutes at worst.

ASICMINER as a miner, should have no issue including the transactions into new blocks - the transaction is showing up but no confirmation yet.. which is really 6 inclusion in blocks down the chain (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Confirmation)

Someone please explain to me why they aren't using their position as miner to make sure those transactions are included in the blocks they mine?

Something similar happened here http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1eppnb/48_hour_unconfirmed_transaction_whats_wrong_here/  In the end the transaction vanished
It is not unconfirmed.
It is not showing up at all.
I will try to restart the wallet.

Blockchain info is saying it is unconfirmed.  Specifically on this page https://blockchain.info/tx/9a6608efc8338d707f636594a6b547f849c12e002897e47a37bd5c8b6f994d80
it says 'Very soon' for 'Estimated confirmation time'.  That is what happened in the reddit case I mentioned.  In the reddit case, the guy had used a blockchain info wallet to send the transaction, which is presumably why it could be seen on blockchain info and nowhere else.  I wonder if friedcat used blockchain info to send the transaction too.

If someone has messaged friedcat about this, please could they say so here to save him from getting deluged.

I can see the satoshis and the div payment transaction. But the div transaction is showing as "unconfirmed"  while both transactions are 2-3 hours old... anyone else seeing this?

DeaDTerra did this ever occur in the past?
I think it happened to me before,
I got the dividend like 12 hours after everyone else.

If you share the wallet address(es) you have on file with FC, people can help you troubleshoot this. (With the limited info you have shared, it's likely not a local wallet issue.)

p.s. - Sharing the wallet addresses would be good for shareholders as well, since they can then verify that the PT shares are backed by real shares, and not stress the delayed divs.

Wouldn't it be a bad idea to share that address? Isn't that the only thing tying the shares to you?

I can find it on blockchain.info, but unconfirmed.
So I guess it is a matter of that me and Friedcat have no connections and hence can't transmit the transaction.
I will have to wait until it is included in a block.

My client also is only showing the satoshi TX and not the divs.

Checking my address on blockchain.info I can see the unconfirmed div transaction, so I know it was broadcast and I'm quite certain once it has a single confirmation it will appear in the client. IIRC two weeks ago I had the same thing happen, and it cleared it self up after quite a few hours.

Yeah, I got my Satoshis but not my div. payment yet. One strange thing though, the first time I opened my wallet it gave me an I/O error and closed. Restarted my computer and then it worked fine. Never seen it do that before. I'll check it after work in about 3 hours.

I think once https://blockchain.info/tx/ebcc6b474b80b175cbfe2ac37f7ac5a5e70d2ac673290856b996d06321855013 is included in a block, the rest of the transactions should resolve; this transaction has been unconfirmed for quite a while though, so I wonder if the fee is too low or something like that (36 kB is a pretty large transaction).

The last unblocked transaction in the chain has 15 confirmations. https://blockchain.info/tx/618364652674551068cff5ce6a9b3889a6836c662c0f28c69c015e12ec6b6a6e

Is it out of the question that blockchain info has a bug?

The next transaction in the chain is this one: https://blockchain.info/tx-index/74252194

One of the inputs to that transaction is https://blockchain.info/tx-index/74245888/0 which is still unconfirmed.

Could this have to do with the bug in bitcoind that caused invalid blocks being generated?

I believe there was a fix for that only yesterday. And maybe ASICMiner have not yet applied that bugfix.

Could somebody who is not a n00b like me please answer my question?

I don't see anything to suggest that this is a problem with invalid blocks, it's just a matter of unconfirmed transactions being used as inputs for other transactions.

Interesting, I have never seen that done before... I knew SOMETHING was up... just not what. If you send me an address I will gladly tip you.
