quick question, is anyone still maintaining that google drive shareholder list after each dividend?

I would like to know more about how AM was involved with the AC container project... will AM shareholders see any of the fruits of that project?

Isn't this basically the immersion-cooling/container setup that gives us dividends?

Yes... that was the test one.  When AC sells that same system to some other company, does AM own any part of that action?  Early information that came out about the project made it sound to me AM owned the technology, not recent news leads me to believe AC owns the technology... who owns it... who benefits from it...  was AM only a testing partner and nothing more?

- What is the status, size, and expected delivery of the next batch of chips? What about the one after that?

For me, this info would be too valuable to be made public (for competitors to set pricing policy for instance).
I would like to know of course, but I understand there is no way for me to know without competitors knowing too...
So as a shareholder I prefer AM to be quiet on this.

I completely agree.  Keeping a competitive edge trumps shareholder information

Okay, I understand your stance. Although I disagree decidedly (no hard feelings  Smiley). I don't see how this will get competitors a decisive edge over AM, as they'll be doing their best anyways. I think it is essential for shareholders getting to know those things. Friedcat has shared similar information before, and I think it should be up to him to decide if he wants to reveal those information.
What are you other guys and girls thinking? I like a constructive discussion!  Smiley

I think I'm dying of suspense... I'm excited... but no divs, no updates... makes me a little crazy! What's going on!?

I'm proposing the following questions I intend to submit to Friedcat. Anything to add?

- Thank you Friedcat and the whole team of ASICMiner for always working very hard and being one of the few honest ASIC companies in the Bitcoin world!
- What is the status, size, and expected delivery of the next batch of chips? What about the one after that?
- What are the final specifications of the generation 3 chips? Initial tests of ROCKMINER showed an increased power consumption. What is the actual power consumption?
- When are the new chips expected to start mining in ASICMiner datacenters?
- When are the sales revenues of the chips expected to be paid out to shareholders?
- Does ROCKMINER (as a big shareholder of ASICMiner) enjoy preferred terms or prices for generation 3 chips?
- What plans for generation 4(+) are there?

Cointerra is 28nm and 1.2w/gh at the wall.

Knc 28nm is more than 1w/gh and neptunes are expected to be 0.6w/gh at the wall. And neptunes are not shipping for at least 2 months.

0.8 w/gh at the wall is good but not as good as we hoped. But it is likely they can squeeze some more efficiency out of these chips.

I think that Spoondoolies is missing from that list. Granted they are pretty new - I'm fairly certain their numbers come close to AM.

Here's a review: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-dogies-comprehensive-spondooliestech-sp10-setup-hd-525469

Quote
Hash rates vary between 1.4 and 1.6TH depending on temperature, and power consumption between 1.1 and 1.3KW from the wall.

That's about 0.8 W/GH.

Does anybody know which vendors are able to deliver < 1 W/GH with current models?

At this point they are all below that level.
Cointerra has a 20nm at around .7W/GH that had started deliveries in January (TerraMinerIV).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvVCISb9N14

KNC has a proven <1W/GH via Jupiters, and is expected to deliver the .51W/GH Neptune this month - Although I couldn't find actual stats this guy has a detailled post as to why:
http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/30886-neptune-will-probably-be-4-875gh-at-2-237w-here-s-why-and-what-to-expect

Those numbers are not exactly good. We went from friedcat claiming [.2 (low power) to .35W/GH] to external manufacturers delivering specs that are entirely different(.85W/GH). As a shareholder I would have liked to hear about it here first, and from a direct source.

Damn it, my calculations were off. Misread that and I'll make corrections as necessary. Sorry all.

Power consumption on wall:0.684/0.8 = 0.855W/G

0.855W is per GH, not for the whole chip.

I'll take a look at it, I basically copied the data from The Genesis Block and from Rockxie's initial tests post. I'll reiterate that all numbers from the chart are purely hypothetical, with the exception of the ROCKMiner blade (based off of initial tests).

So 11.52 GH for 0.855W? Really? Useless chart is useless.

...

...that can't be right. I think there's a zero missing somewhere. The ROCKMiner test was pretty close to 1 W per GH/s

For those wondering comparisons with the competition:

Note: "Efficiency" is comparing the the ROCKMiner test blade with all other hardware. Data was obtained from The Genesis Block. ROCKMiner blade is only after very few, unoptimized tests. It is subject to change.

EDIT: Here are the updated numbers, please let me know of any more issues. Sorry for the confusion all.

EDIT2: I've taken down the chart. I'll repost it again when they have the final specifications. I apologize for any issues.
