Where  do you see 'everybody' converting to direct?
18616 shares on havelock, was about the same last week. And month.

Anyway, direction for converting are on havelock, first page of AM1.

Just looking at the increasing number of posts regarding the change to direct shares over here... Makes me wonder if there is any disadvantage of holding havelock shares now that they are not going to be managed by TAT anymore... (different dividends percentage, or fees, or whatever)

TaT basically says 'everything else stays the same' http://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinStocks/comments/1ye2wp/tat_investments_am1am100smg_update/cfjtb8w

Bitcoin: The People's Bailout
ah so the transfers out from havelock normally occur once a week just before dividends? I guess no need for me to send any more mail in that case...

Yeah, if other direct shareholders receive their dividend payments, but you don't, then follow up on the transfer.

So our shares are hold hostages at Havelock ? Anyone has tried to convert AM into Direct shares recently ?

Yes. Last week friedcat processed the transfer and dividends too early and the request didn't arrive fast enough. But I received the email that the transfer request has been sent to friedcat.
All pending transfers will be processed tomorrow, AFAIK.

Yes, I've successfully submitted a transfer request. Last week friedcat processed the transfer and dividends too early and the request didn't arrive fast enough. But I received the email that the transfer request has been sent to friedcat.
All pending transfers will be processed tomorrow, AFAIK.

edit: Yes, as in 'I've submitted a request', they're not held hostage by Havelock.

A week ago, still waiting to be processed, going to send a reminder sometime later today...

is there like a deadline for converting AM1 to direct shares? Are you implying it wont be possible after TaT is out?  Undecided

On March 1, 2014, TAT Investments will transfer control of the AM1,  AM100, and SMG listings at HavelockInvestments.com to the direct control of Havelock Investments.

Does ASICMINER have a list of shareholders and Havelock is just a broker? Or what happens for example if Havelock goes down and I have shares purchased from there?

ASICminer doesn't have list of Havelock shareholders, all shares are registered to PT issuer address, but if they don't plan to play fractional reserve with shares like Ukyo did, nothing wrong can happen. If yes, then well ... ask Bitfunder's traders.

I apologize for a stupid question, but are there other places where I can buy stocks of ASICMINER than Havelock Investments? And if not, do I get dividends to my personal BTC address or do I get them to my Havelock Investments account?

1) just on Havelock or direct shares contacting shareholders. Basically on forums in the auction threads or contacting them personally
2) on your Havelock account, but you can withdraw to your personal offline wallet at any time at no cost

you could also try https://796.com/  HK website, they sell the AM100 equivalent, although I only use that site for it's RedStarMining (RSM) listing. They have been very reliable so far, depends who you think is more likely to interfere hongkong regulators of the US ones. DYOR  Lips sealed

Thinking about it bit of a side question but who handles Havelock transfers after March 1st is that TAT or did it change over to Havelock with the operator change, not sure if someone asked TAT that question yet.

You can look for auctions in the Marketplace/Auctions section on this forum. If you buy on Havelock, the dividends will be deposited into your account, which you can then withdraw to a personal wallet.
