Remember back in the day when FC would say anything, AM shares would spike?
The good ole days.
Back when words were like oak.

Ad maiora!
I just hope FC and co. can get us some healthy and regular divs while the btc/usd valuation is low like now so that the BTC value of shares has room to skyrocket. What I really want from this thing is more BTC. If they time it right, I will get that!

What about next gen? Smiley

that's what I'm hoping for. Next Gen succeeds, we see divs, stock value in BTC rises. not just reinvestment this time around. Wink

Well RoadStress -  Speculation on the price of miners based on a 120 chip board was discussed here, and Friedcat replied to it with his expected pricing..

I suspect he didn't post anything in this thread because here all the trolls create more noise than it's worth..

Stock price hasn't moved..   Bail out now while you can.

Well stock price hasn't moved because the mass production of chips is still scheduled for March and miners might go out to customers in late March or early April. That's a minimum of 2 months of no dividends. No reason for anyone to buy shares now.

True enough just time to sit and hold or I guess sell your shares try to find a place to reinvest with a dividend guess Dealco on havelock since it's the most consistent then get back in if things are going well in early April or mid March if you want to jump a bit early on the assumption of positive news with the chips and sales.

IMHO it's still likely to see some price swings in the next 2-3 months, not as volatile as past years but still some movement. Too many people burnt buying on good news waiting for divs and watching price per share fall. As attractive as the price per share in USD/local Fiat currently sits, I'm still waiting for some more financial-centric news before buying/selling some cheaper shares. However I've found sometimes my patience does not always pay.

Not to downplay recent news on chip and board development, looking forward to FC and team further pressing chips to max efficiency.

Everyone keeps talking about how critical the heatsink to chip package connection and heat dissipation must be, how is DataTank and immersion cooling relevant in the production and use of this next generation of chips/miners?

Maybe FC / AM are going to use DataTank for self mining?  They wouldn't need a heat sink then?

Okay 155 gh  x .27 = 42 watts   once you figure psu in  47 watts .

lets say 5x =

775gh at 235 watts on the low clock.
1365gh  at  576 watts on the high clock .
this is a 120 chip design.

right now I can buy the sp20 for under 400 usd.

It will do 970gh at 450 watts

the s-5 will do 1300gh on overclock at 676 watts  cost shipped right now is 342 usd if you have a coupon.

For a 120 chip AM to be worth buying it needs to come out soon and be cheap.
At least the board did decently (not .2 watts) more like .3 or .33 watts.
The sp20 can do .46 via underclock.

Price of 120 chip design should be in principle at 230-250 usd w/o the PSU.

If the mid-term future Bitcoin price allows significant quantity, the end-game price can be below 200 usd.

On the other hand, ppl are in anticipation, and by the time chips, miners, and divs are here, shares can be much higer...

Much much higher!

So, in case i decide to buy some on Havelock:
Do i have to do anything else to activate, or register, or sumthing like this ?
Or just purchase some and wait for the next dividend ?

Sign in on havelock, deposit btc, buy, and just wait.
But that 'wait for the next dividend' - can take several months. Will take. Chips are not even here yet.

Speaking personally as a shareholder since 2013, I just increased, by a huge percentage, the number of shares I own for only $1,000.  The lower BTC price makes it a compelling value in dollar terms.

Oh, it does make sense - AM is expecting new chip out of fab in february, tests are done, efficiency is good:

Oh, ok.

Thx for the info Guys.

Yes, that is the real dividend list.
Payments stopped as cashflow has been withheld for future re-invstment / R&D.
Hopefully divs will resume after roll out of next gen products later this year.

Oh, ok.
Thx for the info.

1 thing i still dont understand  Angry
If dividend payouts stopped, so there was no payout since months, why is the price of AM1 is raising in Havelock Trade orders ?
It just does not make sense ! Sad

24 chip (6 chip chain x 4) test result posted.
The mosfets and big capacitors are safely removed due to the constant workload of BE300.

Results:

273.60GH/s | 0.38W/G
176.64GH/s | 0.31W/G
155.04GH/s | 0.27W/G
118.56GH/s | 0.26W/G

With more accurate control on the variance between chips we could in principle gain less power consumption in advance.

Im new to havelock, but AM1 looks interesting.
Where can i check the recent dividends ?
https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AM1

Click on the dividends tab.

LOL
Im not newbie like this Smiley
Thx though.

I've checked that list, but seems its not actual.
What is the reason weekly dividends stopped in march and last dividend was in november ?
Is it really the actual dividend list ?
