Has anyone been able to get this motherboard working to 19 gpu without needing mining cards. Looking at purchasing this motherboard and using 19 1060's but cant decide if its worth it if the motherboard isnt working properly.

Unfortunately as per B250 manual you require 8x P106 Mining cards + 11x AMD cards for 19 cards to work. Hopefully they release new bios to make 19 cards work with any amd nvidia.

From what I've seen the last few weeks when I've looked, availability on this motherboard has gotten DIFFICULT and a lot of price gouging is going on.

Seems like ASUS didn't expect it to be as popular as it has gotten.

Yeah crazy prices lately!

Anyone here using SimpleMining?  Does your reset work?  Anytime my system resets I have to manually power it off and on to get mining working, very annoying.

i have the same problem.. it wasn't the os issue, it was the motheboard.. i have tried simplemining and hiveos, it not gonna work by restarting the rig, you have to power it off completely to get mining working.. i'm using the wifi smart socket for the solution..

Updated the December Bios. Currently on 9 x 1070. With ETHminer, the stability is toooo bad. Hashrates fluctuating from 300 to 250 [Example]. Could not afford to lose 50 hashes at all. With Equihash, around 3.75K Sols not much hiccups comparatively better. Waiting for more 1070's this weekend, will update once done.

Thanks for info was gonna update today luckly i checked here before doing anything >.>

Cheers Cheesy

Hi, so the eth unstability is caused by this bios? Before that it was ok?

Right now, due to infrastructure limitations, I'm only running 6 cards on it.
CPU is a G4400, 8 GB ram

I'm not sure why I went with the 4400, I'm thinking "it was on sale at the time" most likely.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the thing longer-term, keep bouncing between "lots of 1070 ti" and "lower count of 1080 ti" options.

I also run 6 AMD cards on this mobo on Xubuntu. It is stable. Problem is when I add card no 7 (I have 10 rx470's)  Xubuntu won't boot up. It gets stuck half-way through. Would know whether anyone else had this problem and how to overcome it. I would very much like to be able to mine with all ten. Tried many different mobo settings without any success. CPU G3090 with 4GB ram. More than enough power supply. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Guys,

My hashrates are 10% lower with this Mobo.  Anyone experiencing this?  Same GPUs on ASrock or MSI board perform better.  Any advice is appreciated.  Also, my afterburner (4.4 beta 16 & 19) is not working anymore

RX580 x 8, 8 gB ram, Intel Celeron, Windows 10 pro.

What is your hashrate and on what algorithm? I am running 10 RX580 GPUs on an ASROCK H110 Pro BTC+ mobo and Hashrate on ETN is average 8350 h/s. afterburner also not working for me. Seems to be incompatible with drivers from 17.11 onwards. I am using TRIXX instead (sapphire).

Has anyone succeeded with this mobo in Windows with more than 8+ AMD gpus, please let me know what the driver that you are using in Windows. Sorry Im a newbie that i cannot find a way to install Ubuntu with this mobo, maybe because it is using UEFI secured boot, can anyone help ?

Ubuntu is NOT an issue on this motherboard - though technically I'm using the XUbuntu variant on mine.

I do concede I "DD cloned" over my existing STANDARD working installation to the HD mine is running on, then reconfigured xorg.conf and the "startup.conf" file I use to control fan/pl/clock settings for the cards on it - and away it went!
