i am not sure about the average age of bitcoin users and i do not think you are able to find that out ,a poll here would only shows the average age of bitcointalk forum members and not the age of bitcoin users, well i am in my 30s,i assume you would see teenagers mostly in forums

Didn't expect many users above 30 honestly. This is a good sign, it means Bitcoin has a wider public than previously thought.

I think the results are similar to internet users, nowadays we can see people of all ages using internet and that reflects on bitcoin...

Is really good to see this diversity of ages and countries, I hope the women can use more this system one day.

True. There should be another poll asking how many men and women are out there using Bitcoin.

I replied as maximum of voters. I thing the middle age of bitcoin users is 21-30 years. Of course there is users younger and older, but that is actually medium age.

Without serious and professional research I don't think that anyone can give concrete and true answer.
My guess, based on the actual people which use Bitcoin in my country, is that average Age of Bitcoin users is between 20 and 15 years old.
I know some friends, bTC users, who are even under 18.
I'm sure that we can't make definitive conclusion based on such small number of people I know personally (about 10) but it can help.

I think bitcoin is about universality and an age factor is of course present but however not a significant factor. Anyone can get used to its easy transactions and methods of sending to another user. However since it is more popular in the technically advanced people and in some cases few poor countries, I believe the average age lies between 16 to 40 according to me.

That's good to hear, though it isn't necessary for all ages to get involved with bitcoin. Would love to encourage them to join. Bitcoin does help everyone.
I think that many ages are already involved. I am 19 but people I know who use Bitcoin are around 50, actually, whereas many people of my age are aware of Bitcoin but never actually used them in the real life. Maybe it is because in my country you can't use Bitcoin for many things.. Only investments, I guess. And online shopping, of course.

As most users voted bitcoin is much used by the people from the age group 22 to 30. The reason is because people at this age group were in hard need for money as well have much interest into digitalization and advancement.
I think thats the average cause I know many people that are using bitcoin that ages 22-30 years old using bitcoin as their daily job like me. Im only 23 years old and im a college graduat but I find bitcoin as my job not just extra job . In fact im earninf more money in bitcoin rather than my job. But my bitcoin profitz isnt stable I need to go to job to make my life sustainable

i guess average age of bitcoin user is from 17 to 25  because myself I am 19 and my friends are also in this age and all guys i know that usage bitcoin come in this age group except 1 or 2. sup my vote goes to both option 1 and 2. and logically we could also think that old guys are less interested to trending technology they loves old traditional money.

Actually people in this age group have the maximum free time, and they can use this to explore Bitcoin.
Older guys get caught up with work and family pressure.

I agree with you but in my case on my last year in college still trying to make time to explore bitcoin really need to do alot of stuff e.g. thesis. most probably 20's are much more engaged on bitcoin. Hope to be able to make more time exploring bitcoin.

I am 23 now i don't think teenagers would be bothered to  join bitcoin, i guess around 20-40.

I'm 18, Well if I were to assume the average age of people who uses bitcoin. I guess its 16-40 years old. Some teens now are aware of a lot happening in the internet because of modernization so they are hearing about bitcoin and they become curious and soon they are using it. Just like me, I discovered bitcoin when I was 17 and it is because of social media, Facebook to be exact. Since almost all teens uses social media. There are instances that they can encounter post about bitcoin and be curious about it.

I think that there is just a low percentage of teens. More of the middle age people and mostly men. Teens this days they just love to play with their mobile phones or with their laptops. If ever they got bumped with bitcoin I think it would also be for the game.
those open minded person who keeps seeking for wealth are the one's who will be attracted to enter btc i guess even below 17 can be as we all knew different of of people but for sure those in the early 30's who will be more focus on it since they already knew how to value money.
What i think is most of the users on this forum or bitcoin community are between 20 to 30, or maybe there are some which are under 20 using bitcoin because mostly new generation has more interest in internet and these things so they would probably find a thing like bitcoin earlier than the ones who are quite old like above 30 or something.
I agreed with you.  because I myself an 24 year old person. and all my known persons are almost in same age group. I think bitcoin is young people's currency.
it is very thrilling bitcoin and it attract youngsters more than old peoples.

I think bitcoin would definitely be good for teenagers as well. I really thouht teenagers wont be interested joining bitcoin regardless of what it can give to them. Some would teenagers started bitcoin.

Op should have created a wider age range, the range in the poll is a bit narrow. I would say the average is 18-40....

I agree with you but I noticed lately of this generation teens are getting more practical and want to get involve on something that would help them financially. Bitcoin would definitely be good for all ages that are interested.(I dont mean to include 12 under).
