I am a bit old compared to most of the bitcoin users I know. I only started being active with bitcoin this year, but know it for a few years already. I would say most of the bitcoin users are the ones who are young and in their 20's, internet and tech savvy and have a good grasp of online currencies. Although I started a bit late, I am still years ahead of most people since they have yet to discover what bitcoin can offer.

Well if I see and understand than the average age of the bitcoin users would be 30 or less across worldwide. Country specific would be difficult to know but major role China will play as they hold the majority of the coins so while finding average it will depend upon Chinese people age.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

My guess would be 21-38 but we cant deny the fact that the number of teenager using bitcoin is escalating. Later it would be as young as 15. Mostly are student who wants to earn with their own.
I agree with you, Now a days the age is getting lower. Now the percentage of teenage bitcoin users are quite increasing after a few weeks because bitcoin gives them opportunity to earn without an age requirement. So it is one of the factors why teenagers are adopting bitcoin continuously.

I wish I would have learned about this sooner.  I would have bought in when the price was around $10 and I would be rich right now.  I am always looking for something like this to invest in to make some great cash.  Just think about it, if I would have got in at $10 per and bought 1,000 shares, I would have over 700,000$ right now!!

Many Bitcoin users are very young, even below 20. Probably the majority is though somwhere between 25-30, maybe 35. But it is wrong to think that Bitcoin is only for young people so it should be more advertised also to the older people then we could say that it is fully accepted.

I think it would be around 25 to 35 age people. These age people have more responsibilities for developing their families and at the same time, they search more sources of earning. So obviously, most of them come across Bitcoin and start using Bitcoins.

I picked age group 31-40 because when ever you go to a meetup or bitcoin conference everyone looks to be at least 40, lol
We're all getting old now.
yes i am also agree with you to me 30 to 40 is such kind of age in which one is free fro their education and is welling to make some money, therefor to me the age of bitcoin user may be 30 to 40 years of age.

maybe there are people who already started to use bitcoin which ages 16 year old . as far as i know the person who tell me a lot about bitcoin is only a 16 or 17 year old kid and he teaches me some fundamentals on how to earn bitcoin by using faucets and there's a kid younger than him who's very active in gambling . Grin they are younger than we know .
There are people who really started using bitcoin at that age, Including me but I started when I was 15 years old years ago. Based on my experience in using bitcoin, I think the average age if bitcoiners is in the age 20-25. I have joined many groups on facebook that is about bitcoin, altcoin trading and stuff. Among those who is in the group, Most of them were in the age of 20-25 and only 1/4 of the group are in the age bracket of 25-35.

ya, i think it is good to teach some teenagers about bitcoin, but in my experience they only know that bitcoin is money, how to get it easy and fast and not want to learn about it's technology

This is not exactly wise approach to base your assumptions of bitcoin demographic on people you can meet on bitcoin conferences.
I like to think of myself as an avid and active bitcoiner - as as try to convince people around me to give BTC a try, but I never participated in any bitcoin conference.
Nor I am planning to do so in the future.

I think it's between 20 and 30. Bitcoin is known by many young people but at the same time it's also known by a lot of elders too. I do not think there are many more youngsters than elders, they're probably around the same number.

I think we are between the two choices, between 20 - 40. I am pretty sure that there are elders here with the way they share what they know. But I have no doubt too that we have youngsters here, but anyway, since we are talking about overall and not just this forum, we can't be sure the right number, we also didn't see each other so it's hard to guess.
