I think starts at the age of 20-45, but I guess mostly users are in
the middle age. Mostly investors are at 25age onwards, though
really we could not count the exact volume of bitcoin users.

For me It should be between 17-26 years. I feel that most of the Bitcoin users are young and that's why they understand it. The older people just don't want to understand it. The young wants to take risk, while the old are happy with tried and tested ways. So ya it's a young age group.

Just wondered what age the average buyer of Bitcoin is. Myself I'm 36.

Like most of people here I voted for for 22-30 because I believe that the people who use bitcoin are young but It doesn't mean older people don't use it.

I think the average of number of people using bitcoin is 22-30 but if we can think about number of bitcoin hold by people then I think it should be 30+ as investors aren't young.

i was never thought for these data before but might be approximately 22-30
because in my country almost all bitcoin users in the those average age

Meaning your in that age too as you said in the above. But for me it is ranging from 15 to 60 years above is the average of Bitcoin users. In fact all around the world anybody can be a user actually, as long as they accept or apply the system of bitcoins.

I think it would be much better if the poll was asking how old we are and then get the average of that. At least we will get the average age of the active users of this forum. Based on observation, I think the average age of bitcoin users is less than 30 years old. Above 30 years old people already have a good day job and are too busy with their own family. They just don't have the time to do bitcoins while younger than 30 years old people are looking for a good source of income and are saving up for their future.

According to your choices, it's between 22-30 yrs old because I myself belong to that age range and the fact that during this age range, people are starting to look for a job or has already one but they don't earn enough to provide for the needs of their family or for themselves that is why they are looking for a way to augment their income and bitcoin would be one of the ways to achieve it.

My guess is that we are largely looking at tech-savvy millenials, so 21 to 35 would be my intuition. I myself fit into that range.

almost right. I myself is 20 years old. and probably there are bitcoin users who are still teenagers. and OP himself is 36. so I think it would be better to say around 15-40.

well it is possible that there are another users who are in 40 years above. but I don't think they are many people.
as the age from 15 to 25 is in which people just in their final stage to complete their study, so very little number of people at that age can be attracted toward bitcoin for making money, after 30 years when people become free of education and then the start searching for a job then they find can really be attracted to make some money from bitcoin by investing their own money here or just providing different services according to their skill and education so to me he average age of bitcoin user will be between 30 to 40 years of age.

For me much active here in bitcoin is 20 - 35 years of age but we do not have any devoce that can calculate the average age of bitcoin user and this only base in my age i am 26 now and some of my friends are 30 years old also users of bitcoin.

Yes, its possible 20-35 but i guess it on 15-40 years old. At the young age of 15, they can already understand the different way of earning bitcoins. I know lot of people using bitcoins at about 40 years old and many of them are seriously earning bitcoins. And i also know people at about 15 years old whos already using bitcoins.
But were just getting the average, we don't need any fancy or complicated device to calculate the average age of Bitcoin users, What we can do is have survey just like what they did to this thread, you can see that the results they have are accurate to what you said, and I don't think that ages of people using Bitcoin is relevant for its price appreciation.

      Look please something different.

Average is not so useful as standard deviation. If we assume that this poll is a sample from all bitcoin users I put poll data in a web page http://ncalculators.com/statistics/grouped-data-standard-deviation-calculator.htm and I had that  mean=32.06, sd=11.17.

From statistics we have that a 95% confidence interval is (m-2*sd - m+2*sd). That is according poll group data 95% of bitcoin users are  between (10 - 54) years old. A more meaningful conclusion is that about 68% percent is (m-sd - m+sd), that is 21-43 years old. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confidence_interval.

I am 29 years old.... and most of my friends who use Bitcoins are also in the 25-35 age range. I have also seen a lot of users in the 15-25 range, but yet to find someone who is above 35 years.

Damn, what if you're a minor, and don't fit into any of the categories you listed?

I guess I just shouldn't vote Tongue

Oh, depending on your perspective, I'm kind of an early adopter, I joined the ride late 2013. But at the time, I wasn't one for spending...

age doesnt matter, blockchain is technology. Start introduce it from the youngest age.

The same thinking as mine, its kinda hard to determine what is the average age for bitcoins users.

Because this can be adopted easily even as young as 10 years old up to the oldest geek who is still able to read the fonts into his laptop.

I would choose 2 of your provided options which are 16 - 21 and 22 - 30, because older than that will not take much interest currently in buying bitcoins are people of ages between 16 - 30 are having more knowledge and curiosity to know more about technology, which older generation is not interested in.

i think the average age of bitcoin user is 20-30 so i vote 22-30 xD

Average bitcoin user age for me is 18-50 because using bitcoin for any age has no requirement even if you start at the age of 18 no one can say you stop at certain age. Nobody can identify the age of the people who we encounter online because most ot the names were anonymous, most importantly you are knowledgeable and hardworking it doesn't matter what age you stop with bitcoin.
