What I dislike most about autobuy links on moderated threads is that they allow for sellers to have more leniency with illegal services.
Nobody can call them out and in this way their threads remain up for much longer.

For example:
Anyone offering giftcards with discounts greater than 5% is most definitely selling carded cards. This is highly illegal as it involves stealing other people's credit card information and is essentially money laundering. Those cards end up refunded, sometimes in the same day as well. So it's an activity that does no good to the world other than benefit the one that stole the credit card.

Perhaps e-giftcard selling should be entirely banned on this forum. That's my opinion, some might find it draconian though. However, there's no way to tell legit from fake when it comes to e-giftcards and it'd be too resource intensive for mods to moderate every thread so a total ban makes sense to me.

Also: cracked accounts go for sale

All those accounts on subscription based services that go for sale for a fraction of their monthly subscription are obviously hacked into. They stay active for however long the original owner doesn't notice that someone else is in their account. But that process involves hacking and naturally, breach of personal information.

Very informative, appreciate the veteran members looking out for us newbies...wish too I had registered first to see the trust level before I was dumb and purchased from YoutubeTV as well...luckily only got me for $10...

Sorry to hear you got scammed for $10, but it's good you learned quickly so you can watch out for scammers in your gift card sale thread.  That YoutubeTV guy is the bottom of the pits. Oh, so is JAAC.  Wink

Tagged them and a few others. Thanks.
I'm not tagging those who created threads which are not locked and are not self-moderated, unless some proof is posted that they are scammers.

I wish I would've read this thread a few days ago. I just got scammed by a member named YoutubeTV.

Very sorry to hear you got scammed by that low-life. You didn't need to read this thread, just his "TRUST" which clearly says next to his name in red "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!"

Interesting ... been using WAYBACK machine and it seems scammer JAAC/SKELDER/Demonslayer has close to 50 alts (mostly just fake vouchers) but the fake vouches (PS3o for one who bumps JAAC's thread every 10 minutes or so) have also connected him to FASTENS/BOLG1 and a bunch of other active scammers.  LOL, there must be quite an organization because there is no way one person can maintain all these alts.

Yet another scammer for yoy:.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3361152.new#new

Yet another Kimb0SCAMZ newbie/ALT/voucher.
HAHA, selly has suspended his account.

I guess that's why Kimb0 has had to use all newbie alts.  He must have at least 10 active threads now.  I just compiled a whole bunch of screen prints connecting around 20 of his accounts together via skypes, emails, telegrams etc etc to accountservices2 group going back over a year.  LOL, I have too much free time.

At this point it's become like a hobby. I just like annoying them constantly.  Since I'm retired I have lots of free time.
