hello guys! I am new to awesomeminer and i want to configure it with 20 s9s. Is there a way to configure a new pool with different worker names for all at once, or do i have to do it manually. if yes, how?

I know SIA and all the other old usual suspects have been killed off for dual mining. I'm looking for keccak specifically for XDNA dual mining. Can you show me where ETH+keccak dual mining would be? The only options I see are decred, sia, lbry, pascal, blake2s, and sha-3. Claymore 11.8 supports it.

Try sha-3, that might be keccak in disguise Wink

Is it possible to dual mine eth+keccak with claymore 11.8 with this? I know there isn't a default option but is there a way to manually add it?
it's possible, but why would you want to do it?

very thanks
CryptoDredge benchmark incorrect , i select 1 gpu benchmarking but value sum all gpu benchmarked .
Thanks for reporting this issue - it will be resolved in the next release. It turns out that ccminer uses --devices flag, while CryptoDredge expects --device

For Z-Enemy miner is the same issue, otherwise is working great (Z-enemy and CryptoDredge) so THANKS a LOT for that Smiley

Hi Patrike,

can you take a look at lolminer for equihash 144.5 for nvidia and amd cards.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lolminer-144-038-preview-equihash-1445-for-amd-nvidia-linux-windows-4591317

Do you add equihash 144.5 and 197.2 in the next release?

Feature request:

Is it possible to make a button in managed miner properties, to save this as a managed template?
I test new configuration on 1 Rig and when all fine, i make a managed template and add it to all other rigs, but i need make the configuration 2 times at the moment.

Thanks

Remote Agent on Linux is currently being developed. I have a prototype running already, and I expect to have a public beta version available next month. Right now it only provides automatic download of a very limited number of mining software, the overclocking feature isn't available and there are a few other implementation items to sort out.

This is exciting news!  I'm currently running a mix of Windows rigs controlled by AM and Linux rigs controlled by HIVE OS.  I also ran nvOC for a while, but the lack of central management with a lot of rigs was a challenge.  While HIVE has a nice dashboard and pushing changes to a lot of rigs at once is nice, there is no profit switching support, and the overall list of features compared to AM, is much smaller.

Is the Linux Remote Agent based on a particular distro?  Will be Agent be part of a complete image, or something the the user installs on top of an existing distro of their choice?  I would think the former would be preferred to "lock in" the environment and keep support enquirers down.
The first release will not be a distribution at all, just a file you download, extract and install. This will make sure Remote Agent is automatically started when Linux is booting. You should be able to run it on anything that's based on Ubuntu, including running it on top of HiveOS.

Creating a new Linux distribution is a larger task and will probably not be a focus area for this year. So far everyone that asked for Remote Agent on Linux already have some kind of mining setup running on Linux.

You can configure Awesome Miner to show the chip temperature in the list of miners. Go to the Options dialog, General section and enable "Display Antminer chip temperature in Status column".

Also note that the rules in Awesome Miner (the Temperature Trigger) can be configured to either use the PCB temperature or the Chip temperature.

That did the trick.  Thanks!

PLEASE ADD BITTUBE COIN for AMD with CAST XMR....

Thankyou  Grin
CastXMR 1.3 and CryptoNight Saber will be included in the next development version, planned to be available within the next 1 - 2 days.

I can also point of a new feature available in the latest development version (5.2.4), where you can specify where Awesome Miner should download the mining software from.

If the automatic download feature in Awesome Miner is on CastXMR 1.2.5 as in the example below, you can change that to point to version 1.3.0 instead. With this change, Awesome Miner will download and run the 1.3.0 version instead.

Earlier you could of course manually download the software and then upload it to your miners, but this process should make it a bit easier as it's based on the automatic download concept.

Please go to the Options dialog, Managed Software section, and edit CastXMR as illustrated in the screenshot below.

Question on licensing.  I currently have the Premium edition licensing which allows for 20 miners.  I actually have 22 miners and don't see that going up significantly any time soon, given the current climate.  I can't see paying another $170 just to gain visibility to those last 2 miners.  I also don't care for multi-user access control as I'm the only one managing the rigs, which is the only additional feature I would gain by going to the Enterprise edition.

Have you considered offering like a 5-pack or something of just additional miners with no additional features?

Also curious if a Remote Agent for Ubuntu is on the road-map at all?
Thanks for your feedback on this. The editions of Awesome Miner are unfortunately not very flexible from this point of view. They have a fixed number of miners, and it's not possible to add only a few more miners. The idea is that once you go above the limit for one edition, you need to go to the next. The idea is to keep everything as simple as possible with these predefined editions.

Hi,

Dev Team, could you please adding full support for Bitmain Z9 miner.

For some reason if I add pool to miner from awesome miner, miner console on bitmain stopped show statistics until reboot.
Have you tried with another pool? There have been instances where Antminers simply not working well with certain pools and the result is that they stop answering monitoring requests from applications like Awesome Miner.

I have 3 Z9's that I monitor from AM.  Have had no issues to date.  I started out on MPH on 6/22 but have since switched to Luxor.

One thing I should mentioned through, is that the main temperature displayed for the Z9 is the PCB temp.  Shouldn't the Chip temp be the main one? (the temp displayed in the compact view)

Miner view from Z9 status page:

And summary view from AM:

AM ASIC tab:

The Chip temp is always higher than the PCB temp and is the more critical one to keep an eye on, no?
You can configure Awesome Miner to show the chip temperature in the list of miners. Go to the Options dialog, General section and enable "Display Antminer chip temperature in Status column".

Also note that the rules in Awesome Miner (the Temperature Trigger) can be configured to either use the PCB temperature or the Chip temperature.
