In profit switching, I'd like to run one miner for 1 hour (and it would switch), then another miner for 1 hour (same rules but different payment address), then the first one for 1 more hour...

In essence, I need a timer. I couldn't find a way to do that. Is there?

you have to set a Time Trigger rule for a specific time, day or on a regular interval an use templates it works best using templates  an there is a rule for Profit mining .

and profit mining does have that look under the Profit Switching tab under options it lets you set some of those setting ...

Rule setup

How do you get into the rules section? Can't see it under Options

It seems it is from OC settings, try and see what happens with 0 OC. Also because you mixed different types of gpus on the same rig, intensity is also problematic. try to lower all cpu, memory and intensity and also use EWBF because has a similar hasd rate on equihash.

Miner02 has six identical Zotac 1060 3GB cards in it.  Miner09 has six identical EVGA 1060 3GB cards in it.  So those 2 rigs have identical cards, as do most other rigs, but yes, there are a few exceptions.

I have dialed back to 0 OC now and will run like that to see if the issue goes away.  I'll also give EWBF a shot.  I was running that before DSTM came out.  EWBF seems to have been abandoned by its author, which is the main reason I switched.

Thanks!

I think there might be a bug in the "GPU settings" feature.  When I look at my miners here, I have them all arranged in the order I want, and I have "Set name" on all my GPU's to what I want:

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/AW_Miners_2_8_18.JPG

However, when I select all my GPU miners and then go to GPU Settings, I get this:

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/AM_GPU_Settings.JPG

So for almost all my rigs, the GPU model is missing, and the sort order does not match what I have in the miner view.

Also, I'm only doing Equihash using DSTM 0.5.8 right now.  And I have my clocks set to pretty conservative values, but on my 1060 rigs, DSTM will still lock up on occasion and AM is unable to do anything about it.

Examples:

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/miner02gpufail-01.JPG

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/miner09gpufail-01.JPG

http://www.cstone.net/~dk/miner09gpufail-02.JPG

I have my 1060 rigs dialed all the way down to +100 Core and +450 memory now (at 75% power).  When I was running nvOC, I could do +130 core and + 600 memory all day long, so I'm not sure what's up.  I'll keep reducing the clocks until it becomes stable I suppose.  It will often run for a good 24 hours right now before it hangs as shown above.  It sure would be nice if AM would be able to detect this and restart DSTM.

Don't shot me have yet another request
can you add support for this miner

Bminer

Bminer site
https://www.bminer.me/

bitcointalk
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annbminer-a-fast-equihashethashcuckaroo29z-miner-for-amdnvidia-gpus-1649-2519271

I've tested it today and the hash rate for all types of Nvidia cards is the same as EWBF and it does not seem to worth it. Also it have me errors that miner was not able to connect and download updates, it starts mining only after 10 consecutive update errors.
The has rate from website is not better than EWBF.

Maybe somebody else can test and confirm.

Hi, i've been using the miner and i have  some ideas about improving the graphical interface:

- when you search for awesome miner agents put a field in the wizard to enter the password, so you don't have to enter the password for each host - if you add lots of miner it is tiresome to modify each one.
- add a checkmark in miner properties to get the worker name from the description, so you don't have to always check "add to worker name" and type the worker for each miner
- make a "clone" button for the managed hosts section
- make the hw errors text color in webserver red so it pops out and see it better
- make a button to map all the selected miner gpus to system monitoring
- maybe add a tooltip so when you hover with the mouse above the miner after 2 you can see the  details ( command line arguments and configuration )
- in the right click menu add an option to rdp ( remote desktop ) to the miner
- important - add an option to remove all income/revenue data in the dashboard  from the view only / control view user roles

patrike, any feedback on this, especially the last one as i want to give access to employees to monitor the miners without them seeing the revenue

Thank you

Thanks a lot. In the first example, can I specify which miner I want to start/stop. Should I send the stop command and give it time to do so before sending the start command (1 min later)?

Code:
Example: Run GPU mining during a specific time
This example shows how to start the mining at 8 AM (08:00) and stop the mining at 7 PM (19:00). Please note that two individual rules are required for this setup, one to start the mining and another one to stop the mining.
Rule specification:

    Description: Start in the morning
    Trigger: Time
Trigger on time: 8 AM (08:00)
    Action: Miner command
        Command: Start miner

Rule specification:

    Description: Stop in the evening
    Trigger: Time
Trigger on time: 7 PM (19:00)
    Action: Miner command
        Command: Stop miner

Example: Change mining pool three times per day
This example shows how to change to Pool#1 at 7 AM (07:00), then change to Pool#2 at 3 PM (15:00) and finally change to Pool#3 at 11 PM (23:00). The interval and number of pools to change between can be modified to fulfill other requirements as well. This example consists of 3 individual rules that all must be enabled. All pools must be predefined in the Options dialog, Pools section before defining the rules.
Rule specification:

    Description: Set Pool#1
    Trigger: Time
Trigger on time: 7 AM (07:00)
    Action: Miner command
        Command: Change pool
        Pool: Pool#1

Rule specification:

    Description: Set Pool#2
    Trigger: Time
Trigger on time: 3 PM (15:00)
    Action: Miner command
        Command: Change pool
        Pool: Pool#2

Rule specification:

    Description: Set Pool#3
    Trigger: Time
Trigger on time: 11 PM (23:00)
    Action: Miner command
        Command: Change pool
        Pool: Pool#3

weird issue last night, I'd expected AM to have switched, but appears one of my miners was stuck in this loop for hours! I manually took hashrefinery off the pool list and restarted the miner to fix it. Anyone know why it didn't switch and how I prevent this happening again?

[2018-02-07 19:57:25] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to yescrypt.us.hashrefinery.com port 6233: Timed out

I disabled hashrefinery, it is very unreliable, they are reporting 100 times more profit to attract miners and by misleading the statistics they get overwhelmed with 10k connections form AM simultaneously and the server crashes so the result is that you do not get not even 50% of the money you will get from other pools, so be aware.
today there was a disconnection of the pool, rebot and the reset of the algorithm nist5 because of high profitability a couple of days ago, because of this it might not work.

I can help with that. Your solution didnt work for me either. Afterburner remote server just didnt start with windows startup.
How I sorted it out is:
1. install msi afterburner, go to settings and check, "start with windows" and "start minimized".
2. download msi afterburner remote server, put it somewhere, for example, in C:\Program Files\ etc....
3. go watch this tutorial how to make programs start on startup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3krml2Hm8Sk
4. at one point, when he talks about "trigger", "at log on", "delay it by 30s", dont delay it. Let it run straight away.
5. go here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/69693-enable-disable-startup-delay-windows-10-a.html
6. download Disable_Startup_delay.reg, or do manual registry edit. Run that Disable_Startup_delay.reg.
7. Now restart pc, all should start now with windows, both Msi afterburner and remote server.

Thanks!  I applied the above on one of my miners and it worked perfectly!  Now I just need to apply it to all the rest of them.

This is a permission failure, where Awesome Miner isn't allowed to listen to port 17790 for HTTP purposes. You could try to run Awesome Miner with Administrator privileges once, to see if it setup everything properly. Then you should be able to run it normally again.

Tried running it as Admin, but same errors still in the log I'm afraid Sad

Anything else I can try?

I'd like to split my rig's gains to two addresses. How could I do that easily with Awesome miner?
Could I create two miners and have one running overridden pool parameters and comand line parameters? Both would run at the same time.

Or could I have two miners running each the 12 cards but alternatively (let's say 1 hour each, for instance)?
You could run multiple miners on the same rig no problem
But can you do so with the Awesome miner profit switching?

as well as have time based switching.
What solution did you choose?

1) Yes you can run multiple miners setup on one rig as profit switching. You simply need to control which cards are assigned on the command line. You have to configure different profit profiles for each miner, then under the configure option on each mining software config the command line parameters. For example under Claymore you would is the -di {card #'s} option.

2) I have a main mining rig which is running in "profit" mode - It's mining ETH + what ever coin is more profitable on the 2nd coin (currently PascalCoin), plus on my desktop I have it running the same mining, however for 2.5 hrs a day I have it mining ZClassic for the BTCP fork. So I have it set to apply a template at a certain time to make the switch, then reapply the original template again at different time. Two Rules, one to switch to ZClassic, one to Switch back to ETH.

How to I get the GPU model to show next to each card under GPU settings.  Some of my miners seem to have it working by default:

And others are completely blank:

I have defined a number of GPU profiles and have them associated with GPU's on various mining hosts.  I have a total of 12 Managed Miners at this point, and they all share the following path and credentials:

Despite that, after a restart, neither Afterburner nor Afterburner Remote Server appears to be running.  So I have to RDP into each miner and manually start those to apps, before I'm able to access GPU settings from my host running AM.  The AM Remote Agent is of course also installed on all the miners, and it starts the mining program(s) just fine and I can reboot the remote computers just fine.  But, like I said, neither Afterburner nor Afterburner Remote Server appears in the system tray.  The GPU's do start mining with the correct clock and power values that are defined in Afterburner on each rig, but the tray icon is not there, so I can't make adjustments from AM without first going to each rig.

Each managed miner is running latest Win 10 Pro and the only login account that exists on each computer, is my Microsoft Account, so that is the Remote Windows account I specify under Options/MSI Afterburner as per the above screen shot.  And all the miners are set to automatically login with my MS Account credentials.

Love the program, but these little annoyances are driving me nuts!

6. download Disable_Startup_delay.reg, or do manual registry edit. Run that Disable_Startup_delay.reg.
7. Now restart pc, all should start now with windows, both Msi afterburner and remote server.

Hello... I have 8 1080ti in my rig and I am still try learning how to manage it as best possible..

I have some problems with it but the biggest problem now it is that too often I connect to my rig and I found the miner that it is crashed or more often it is crazy running saying "unspecified launch failure" as you can see in the image..

http://i68.tinypic.com/2eajui9.jpg

what does it means if it happens so often? And above all, why the miner (in this case ccminer) after some seconds of this error doesn't stop/restart himself ?  I have noticed that ccminer or others miner software often can crash/freeze or giving errors for hours and AWM simpy dont understand that there is a problem and you lose hours and hours without mining..

There is a way to let awesome miner to recognize when miners arent' working properly and restart it ?
For example, if the miner it is not working for some error, awesome miner isn't surely receiveing "Accepted" shares for minutes/hours: why this factor doesn't tell to awesome miner to start a timer and after (for example) 3 minutes ?

Maybe or surely there are already settings for to manage this kind of problems/situations but I am ignorant so I hope that somebody can help me with it..

Then, a curiosity... I have noticed also that (especially) with zpool and hashrefinery sometimes stats of profit are simply crazy.. the miner continue to stop and start to change the pool/scripts... i notice also that Bulwark 24h profitability is at the top lately.. but I can't see the corrispondence to the pools profitability list.. there i see different prices/profits values.. is it normal?

Can you give me some easy good advice to follow to setting up my rig at the best? I have the sensation that I am not earning much with my actual configurations...

Sorry for many questions.. and thank you all for kind help

Hi, thanks for great software and support Smiley
If I have two separate farms (with two separate computers )100 Asics each, can I install on each of those two computers Awesome miner using one registration code for 200 miners?
Also is there a way to get alarms if miners change their current working pool (like if first pool became unavailable)?

Thanks a lot.
