--user s3c70r , even if in the properties I have "Add to workername" checked, it doesn't pass the workername to command line.

We should read --user s3c70r.Rig02

Miningpoolhub doesnt allow connections without a login followed by a workername. ( login.Workername )

I have a s3c70r.Rig01 defined globally in the profit switching section of options to work around the bug.

Please fix ASAP.
I will investigate. Thanks for reporting

I would like to be able to switch between profit mining and specified pool mining easier. Currently I have to go to each miner and enable and disable the profit mining.

Can you make it a right click option?

I actually implemented something similar in the latest development version (4.3.3), but in the Options dialog only. Until it's supported via the right-click menu, please go to Options dialog, External Miners and use the bulk-edit feature.

I see that now, this will work. thanks!

Two identical machines
Even hash rates are within a few MH/s

And yet AMiner, decides to put one on Lara2 for days while the other switches to most profitable as intended

https://i.imgur.com/t8gF99T.jpg

The updated online services show lara as most profitable - but how can it be when the identical set up on the right shows it further down.

The whole software is one big mess as far as I can make out.
How can two identical machines, cards, hashrates, miners, pools everything be showing different profits and mining different alogs.
I'd expect some shenanigans but it's more likely to be incompetence.

Not sure if it's even worth my time trouble shooting going on the past 20 pages of this thread.
But I did reinstall latest miner on both - delete and redo the miners. rerun the benchmarks and yet this still occurs.

So just a heads up - you could very likely be chucking money away, unless you have two machines to check what this software is doing.

Later, and mine safley.

@patrike

Can you please check if profit switching ignores "power" settings in the profile? Seems as if profit switching only switches for "revenue" not for "profit" as seen in the online services tab.
As seen here...

cryptonight would be more profitable, because it consumes less power - but it is mining yescrypt. I don't care about the few cents, just wanted to show, that there might be a bug.
Btw. - IF there is a bug and you fix it - please make sure, that it won't start any mining with negative profit Wink

Thansk for support

The profit switcher should look at the profit, not revenue. Can you verify that if you right click on the miner and select View Details?

This is almost always related to .NET Framework 4.5 or above missing. Please download from Microsoft web site:

Portable (usb) edition possible? I see only install versions.
That's currently not supported.

With AM 4.3.3:

It seems like XMRig Nvidia has some bad defaults in it. On two separate systems now with a different mix of GPUs it keeps throwing a GPU out of memory error. This happens with 1080ti, 1070ti and 1050ti based systems.

https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig-nvidia/issues/47

Seems related, but not sure if the default config.json in AppData/Local/AwesomeMiner/ is ok to edit or even the config that's passed to xmrig.

I also had an issue with DSTM (and sometimes ccminer) mixing up GPU ordering in a system with a few 1050ti's and 1 1060. It makes benchmarking tricky since when I'm trying to bench the 1050ti's it will sometimes bench the 1060 instead for certain algorithms.

For me, DSTM 0.5.8, miner kills itself a few seconds after it launches
Tested on Miningpoolhub

You have the same issue as I was having. View my work around in my previous post.

Cheers!

I'm going to be setting up a basic rig with two GTX 1060 and 1 GTX950 to start.  Do I set them up just as one miner or as one miner for the 2 GTX 1060 and 1 miner for the GTX 950?    Also, do I setup awesome miner on the rig itself or should I run awesome miner on another computer?

I don't think you can break the gpu's out like that because of the way they get reported by the OS/Miner software.

I set AM up on my main computer and use remote agents on the mining rig.  Works great, so really for the second question the choice is yours.

why does any ssl port i use with awesome miner and Dstm Miner keep doing below ?, an if i by pass Awesome miner, Dstm Miner works fine on any ssl ports ...

is Am blocking encryption or is there another setting i can't find ?.

Here what i use at command line without AM that does work.

zm --server ssl://zec.slushpool.com --port 4443 --user youruser.minername

@ command line without using Awesome miner ...

C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\zm_0.5.8_win>echo Don't forget to change your pool and login information.

below doesn't work using AM.

using the same setting i can connect using a normal port with AM and using the normal port setting.
