I commented that some pages ago but this is not an official ANN, when asked the Axie Infinity team confirmed they don't maintain an official ANN here since there are many social networks to take care of, and that fans were free to spread the word about the game as they liked, so this is maintained by fans

Binance was an investor on Axie and hosted their AXS sale on binance launchpad months ago, so it's on their best interest to integrate with Axie Infinity ecosystem, not only chasing hype here

binance is really looking for ways how to cater those projects which are attracting good interest from the community. remember, shib? they listed it owed to market demand and not because shib dev team applied to list it. and now, because axie is really getting popular among gamers, they accept deposits from ronin network. so i think, this is also to cater the fast rising game axie and other applications under this network.

I think its blockchain game trend now and Axie is the only game which offer high returns and scholarship program. AXIE price is too high now because of the hype. it may dump anytime.

I'm not into Axie but they don't need the marketing at all they started the play to earn trends and many new projects are now imitating their formula, here in our country it's a piece of big news because many people are posting their income from Axie that the government is now taxing Axie players, I hope they can sustain this many people left their jobs to play Axie.

they don't need marketing now because of its revolutionary model, but if growth slower or if they want to raise cultural awareness about the game it'll probably be a smart idea to spend a bit on it, after the game is on a more established version, of course, its still on alpha

regarding government wanting to tax axie income, they can try but the reality is that this is only possible when converting to fiat if not using P2P

really surprising that axie attracted a lot of gamers. but look at their ANN thread here, the presentation is very simple, few paragraphs and links and yet, they have many players on board already. i don't think they even have their own rep in the forum? but the prizes of the axies are really fetching good ones in the market. wondering if they can survive long in this gaming market.
