I see it as a pretty good project but pumped on the market, there are some very nice projects already functional that have recently come out and do not have the same luck, so I think it is very manipulated

I think you are lacking a deeper look at the project
they are pumping after 3 years of development, including working when nobody cared about NFTs, ethereum and blockchain games

you are actually wrong about Axie, since they migrate to Layer-2 blockchain, Ronin, which is on top of Ethereum, and does not make a network congestion at all, it is processing transactions on their own, just secure it through Ethereum blockchain

Axie is actually getting really big, I bought some AXS few months ago, and it is rising steady, while waiting for airdrop to happen, snapshot was somewhere in October, and airdrop should happen these days
it is a good game, and there are some people in south-east Asia that live on play-to-earn economy with this game

Ok my fault then and good to know that Axie is going for a solution that doesn't get the ETH blockchain stuck. There are so many meme coins and what not that all run on top of ETH. Useless usage of the tx capacity.

when these videos were posted?

SLP had a huge run up and pumped the price so earning potential got bigger, at the same time with Ronin (their sidechain launch) transactions got cheaper and more axies are being bred and scholarship programs are growing a lot.

This is surprisingly an honest documentary on the Axie Infinity scene in the Philippines, Axie Infinity is really hot in our country. It is because of the opportunity to earn some money and the economic state of our country. Many lives were changed and some of them rely on playing axie infinity in terms of earning money from it to survive their daily life in this country.

It is just unfortunate for me to not notice this project before.
