If the BK-X is not an FPGA miner then why would Baikal ask customers which algo's they wanted to see next?  If the algo's are already baked into the hardware they should have said "which of the following do you want to see released next".  Not a wish list of algo's you want to see.

where did you see , they ask that ?

If i can choose , in this range of H/s (5gh ~10gh) , without hesitations, the best are phi1612 and Timetravel10

But as Lux ever pretenting can fork , even against FPGA, think it's pretentious but probably they dont want fpga and asic. so may be skunkhash instead of phi1612

Quite some time back Baikal posted this question about what algo's we wanted supported next.  You wouldn't expect them to ask us what we wanted and vote on it if it were already baked into the chips.  I am sure someone will dig up that post where they asked us.

Yes, I remember they asked about algo's. It was before shipping batch1, in September - October. So maybe they were just playing nice or programing of x10 has not been done at that time. The known algo is Groestl. I remember in another thread there was information which algo's were found in baikal software, but know don't remember were there more algo's despite nist5, groestl and x11ghost.

Would be great if they would accept crypto as payment...

They actually accept crypto for shipping cost...

wondering what the rest two algorithms would be? .... since X13, X14, and X15 are out of option...
Blake 2B? LBRY? X11Gost? Pascal? or NeoScrypt? or Lyra2REv2?

I would prefer Blake 2B, which would be 6 month before Sia ASIC by Sia team... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes not bad

What two algorithms you guys are perfer to see Grin Grin?

I'd like to see Blake2s and Lyra2v2! Would support multiple coins that way, and higher market cap coins too.  Shocked

will see!
Actually, We have been collecting all feedbacks about algo from customers before a quite long period of time when we are not so busy, we recorded the algo that was mentioned on conversations, sorted them out, and emailed to our boss. So, now, I assume some of guys can see their "algo wishing list"  come true.

Yes, and that was just 2 weeks before batch 1 shipped.  So I seriously doubt they were doing last minute coding of the algos into chips at that stage.  So this is why I question the comment earlier that these are ASIC's.

According to Nicehash the x10 is making 12$/day. Isn't that good? That's an ROI of 4-5 months.

According to Nicehash the x10 is making 7$/day today 28 May 2018 ! enjoy !

only an idiot would mine with a X10 on nicehash, seriously!

Where do you recomend to mine? Minningpoolhub?

Hello! They sell G2 for $ 3000. So far only x11, but soon will be an update X13, X14 and X15 will not be supported.

G2? Do you have a link?

Was, I lost it. Sorry!

Hmm.. all this things about customs and CE-Labels.

I don‘t know if it would be a good idea to buy again from them. Maybe if a new product will come one day.

It worked all good for me but to hear these things are really bad. Probably they destroy it and your money is lost??

Baikal x10 is not fpga. It's just has programed algo's in chips. Baikal releases new software and it unlocks those programmed algos. All planed algo's were already in a chips before releasing batch1. They just introduce algorithms step by step with releasing software with needed changes.

Good analysis, what you think are the remaining 3 algos?

I'm pretty sure Groestl is at least one of them.

According to Nicehash the x10 is making 12$/day. Isn't that good? That's an ROI of 4-5 months.

If the coin prices stay the same and no new miner go to net and shot difficulty to the moon, you can earn about 0.0015 btc now.
In Januar it was 0,007 BTC a day.

All market goes down.

DGB want to change algos.  Sibcoin the same.  Verge is dropped.

What do you want to mine next month?

And if more new X10 goes to net, how much will you earn next month?

Think about, before order new X10!

There is no guarantee that you reach the ROI and that you will earn next month like today.

-Verge had a halving that why is not so profitable ...as a newbie that you are google 'halving' to understand.
- I thought you knew that BAIKAL is cheating with custom papers and CE ... TAX Fraud at 100% .. IF they proper check what you import then goodbye product + tickets and jail (in some countries)
- The new algos for x10 are filling BAIKAL's wallets first and when the sales will be close to zero they will give them to the public
- You should be lucky if in 1 month from now you can make $5-7 with the X10 BAIKAL

BAIKAL what happened with your high tech miners : BAIKAL B , BAIKAL-N , BAIKAL-N+ ?? This is what's happening when you overprice 10x your products.
WHEN YOU RELEASED YOUR FIRST MINER 'BAIKAL MINI' you was respecting the clients and your dream was to help crypto + technology + the environment with low consumption miner .... now the goal is to fill your wallets.
