I read somewhere that loaded Ballet Cards are treated as securities when sent loaded, so take care that your items don't come with the labels pealed off and redeemed by various boarder control authorities.

Have to agree with you...this design is used so much by everyone. I would think they could've put some more effort in coming with a unique design that would associate the coin with Ballet going forward.
I'm a huge fan of ballet, but not a huge fan of their price over load value when it comes to their few pre loaded options. i guess we will see
I agree - its much cheaper to buy them unloaded and load yourself - they know this and that is why the pures are only sold loaded now.

They are probably loosing too much money offering free postage Globally for any order size to then have to turn around and offer cards at discount to resellers.
perhaps so but on average I would sell 20-25 sometimes more of each version the 2-3 bucks discount they would give me and then being able to ship all to me then sending all separately - as all orders within the US are free shipping - unless I am mistaken. so ship one package free or ship 30 packages free.

ballet no longer is interested in doing group buys - not at any discount at least. they feel they lose too much money I guess - they are now posting all these limited edition ones on the site and have stopped even informing me about them.
there are currently 3 or 4 event ones out there that I have gotten zero response back on my inquiries.

as a note - for the pizza one, you have to go into the regular wallet and it will then be listed in there. I personally cannot stand their new design concept for the site. I much preferred it when there was categories and each version was its own "item" on the store page.
If I had the scratch to build my collection of Ballet wallets, I'd go crazy and buy them all (even though I think they're overpriced in general). My last purchase was a 5-pack of the 2022 Lunar New Year wallets, which are pretty neat looking.
Is it just me being stupid, or is it hard to find wallet variations like the pizza one on the Ballet website? That link worked just dandy, but I tried to find it from the homepage and didn't see any links to special edition wallets. It was listed under the "Real" category, but I don't think I would have stumbled across it had I just been browsing the site.

i can understand you and i feel the same way. you can see a large selection of different ballet wallet editions in my ccc thread.
and as for the pizza edition, i think it's a shame that they don't release a new design every year (like the miami edition).

correct the 2021, 2022 and 2023 are all the same - if you get lucky you might get one where the box has a copywrite for the correct year. but my 2021 said 2021, the 2022 I got said 2021 and my 2023 says 2022 go figure.

as i interpret it Ballet will introduce a new kind of wallet - it will definitely be something that hasn't been released under the name Ballet yet
