Jokic is not that good. He cant carry the whole team “alone” like Lebron, curry. What he needs is a good team and that is where he got those assists. What I'm saying is I don't think he's a good playmaker, Murray is their playmaker, basicaly murray finds an open cut or open shots and then jokic just pass it to him, and there it is an assists. He's also slow which basically easy to stop and easy to attack. not discrediting his skills though just overrated to me.

Their new big three is very solid and lethal when it comes to offensive playing, the Nuggets are really having a hard time guarding them and they cannot even give a double guard because the other one will be so open and they cannot afford to give the Warriors an easy 3 points as they are that capable even if it's already very deep.

Injuries cannot be avoided but it can be somehow minimize if they play it safe and don't force themselves in chasing some points that they cannot chase anymore as they can always recover from those points. They will remain a threat in the league in their current line-up, hopefully though that there are no major injuries this time.

But they've lost though to the Nuggets and didn't complete a sweep. It's understandable though, teams are very though specially if they play at home and doesn't want to be beaten 4-0 in a series. So still a good chance for the Warriors this season, obviously it will be tough on their next series, whoever they are going to face. But with a combination of veterans, young and upcoming and players who understand their roles, it will be hard to stop the Warriors and will have an edge this season.

We'll just hope that there's no more serious injuries this time as it could always trigger the team not to beat the other competitive teams. But so far, all is perfectly fit and healthy as they continue to show their best moves and continue to improve their defense strategy that i know could be well done in the next games in this playoffs. With the huge efforts made by each of the player in the team, Warriors will always gain an edge over the rest of the teams.

No one gets to be sure in this kind of betting, but still others take the risk to bet depending on which team they think will have the biggest chance to win. My bet is actually on Warriors, i think they deserved that too. They have now become the real warriors in the final season, and they give their best shots in every part of the game. And with the great performance done by Golden State's big 3 of Curry, Green and Thompson, and now add to it the new star in the team Poole, they know exactly what it takes to win in a championship.

Yes, that's quite reasonable indeed as they are already showing some signs even if they are still in the first round of eliminations. Though it's still premature to say but I'm also seeing them to represent the Western Conference and also they have to work on there defensive side to survive their face off against the Phoenix Suns later on.

But Middleton is out already, he is giving a lot for the Bucks, although he is on a slump in 2 games against the Bulls, nevertheless with his experience, he is going to be a big help. And now that he is out Giannis and Holiday will have to power the Bucks again in the absence of Khris. And they will have to fight it out with the Bulls with their own big 3, DeRozan, Zach Lavine and Vucevic. Caruso is playing very hard in the defensive end as well.

So the chances of the Warriors winning is very high because of the injuries to teams like Suns (Booker) and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Yes, more notably, UFC's info and prediction thread is a good example with regards to whether or not separate a topic despite having a general thread within its criteria. We've already seen tons of separate threads of single matches with regards to UFC. Hence, same should apply with NBA as well. But should either be a single match that will be automatically locked after the match, or the same with the OP's style whereas it focus on the journey of a single team -- which would probably make more fruitful discussion since it has a definite topic and followable flow compared to a general thread that can contain tons of ideas and opinions towards tons of games and teams as well.

with this type of threads, we can focus more on a better flow of discussion, lessening the spam and unnecessary comments on general thread just to count as a post. Also, if you would look at the mega thread of 2022 NBA Season, you can see from within its last pages, bombarded with tons of opinions regarding various topics such as a certain player, certain game, even certain matches or teams, just within a page of that thread. If you were to follow one topic within it, you would need to read every replies within it. Yes, it is a good thing to really 'follow' a thread. But not a good thing for a healthy discussion.

Statistically speaking, I see less than 10 people are constantly following and actively replying within its discussion (NBA) (based of from March 23 - April 23)^[1]. 27 unique users but only 10 had more than 4 replies within the aforementioned month. Therefore concluding that megathreads were still a thing but have less attention compared to single and focused threads.

Well, its even reasonable to bet a hundred bucks for Warriors as we are now starting to see the real champion in this season. Though they still lack on their defense, but everything can be worked out as it will improve their performance in their upcoming fights. As long as they keep those brilliant moves from those star players, its certain that they will always have an edge to the rest of the NBA teams.

I agree with @Maus0728, we can focus more on the subject matter if we separate a specific game, besides, we are in the gambling section so focus is very important. I also saw in different betting forum that they have threads on specific game, some even have multiple threads, so I think this threat should stand until the NBA season is over, let's keep track on the update here, shall we @OP?

Sportsbook are business which its expected that odds would really be changing up since they arent that blind on not to notice out on who would be the favorites and most likely to win up the Championship which its already expected that it would really be having those kind of changes and as i have looking on what OP do talk about 8.xx odds then its already understandable that
it do dropped on about 3.xx .When it comes to injuries then these things are very normal thats why we cant really still make out some conclusion yet injuries could really be
still on the way.

I strongly believe that this time they will get the championship, with their new star Jordan and the remaining team mates with Curry. I am a fan of Golden states and will always be. Not only that their draft is good but their record says it all, they are the best in defense and net rating so far, and 2nd on offense too, so I am confident they could really do it.

People tend to separate discussion as the main mega thread often have different discussions within its replies whereas some were having a hard time tracking the topic/idea they were following on that thread. There are also campaign that takes such mega thread to be one of their disregarded threads as having more than 500 pages or even replies aren't really read by the newcomers. Plus, mega discussion threads tends to have its main post updated but the rest of the replies (since the forum default post display were based on the time posted displayed ascendingly) were often years or months ago. It's just a matter of how well the this separate thread could highlight the topic and lock it after it ends.

Nuffsaid, i really am amazed with how well GSW's performance lately. I really thought that some bandwagons just hyping the team up but they were destroying Nuggets. Let's just see how well they can maintain their performance.

How fast the odds have change, well, I cannot blame the bookies here as the Warriors have been playing an exceptional basketball in the last 3 games which makes the series 3-0 against the Nuggets, not even a home court advantage could save the Nuggets, I smell a 4-0 again.

Anyway, the odds really look good and the Warriors just dethrone the top 3 teams that are favorites before the playoffs starts.

Suns and Bucks are facing some injury issue, reason why their ranking went down.

Should have go with your instinct, you cannot get them anymore at that odds now as they are now the favorite to win the NBA championship.

Good for you, in case that Golden State Warriors win the Play offs then you would have x8 easily but this wouldn't be that easy with the Miami Heat or Bucks I am sure that it would be a really tough match but I'm sure that there's a high possibility that they would be in the finals.

Golden State Warriors seem too thirsty for another crown this year. Just like the old times, they're showing impressive matches and it's too obvious that they've prepared well for this season. I would take the risk and bet on them because I could feel that they would do everything to be victorious this time.

They are destroying Denver Nuggets with probobly the best player in the league there. But i think Nikola Jokic cant play alone and carry the team alone. With how good Goldenstate Warriors are playing i really see them winning the NBA aswell,so this odds on the Warriors are really solid.

I just notice some of there flaws in there current line-up. This roster is only effective when Green is doing well on the defense. They almost beaten by Nuggets if only Nikola Jokic is not exhausted. There lethal line up is lack of defense so what there shooting accuracy is not good, they will be completely dominated by team like Bucks and Boston in case they will meet in finals. Kevon Looney should step up his game because he is not contributing much on there previous games. Iggy and Green is doing good on GSW run.

That 8.0 odds is good imho.

With lots of injuries and changes in line up for GSW for several season then it turns out that we are missing the old line up which did give us a really good performance or simply had able to win Championship

and now that the roster is on having that default or former members then i do see strong chances for them to be on the finals but of course it wont be still a guarantee considering that
injuries and other possible factors could happen along the way thats why making out some conclusions wont really be still that give out assurances.
