This can be caused by the difficulty being too low and you mining with high hashing. You could be re hashing your own blocks making the second time around stale. Also you could be competing with somebody else also hashing with a lot of power.

Are you getting any errors with you mining program? Are you using reaper?

Any idea why I'm getting so many rejected blocks?  I'm getting about 40 accepted, for every 60 rejected.

The difficulty has changed now and halved. It should have happened sooner than that I would feel.

Same here, 12 hours ago (but only cpu on it).

Yeah I cannot get it to mine for me. The last block I mined was 24 hrs ago and it still hasn't cleared.  Huh
because the diff is high and the "big" miner left, therefore block rate is lower than usual, soon difficulty will adjust and then this problem is gone too. thats how bitcoin works...

Yes this is all normal as the non Bitcoin miners are all trying to frantically mine Litecoin before the diff gets too high. Once things stabilise then, the regular miners with be back.

last block generated was 11 minutes ago...can't be normal?

I would say yes, as diff has gone right up

EDIT: plus the hashrate has gone right down... so yes this is totally normal
