Hi to all,

As BBR runs rather snappy for privacy-oriented cryptocurrency, is anyone following this thread familiar enough with Open Transactions (OT) so he can give out of a sleeve tutorial on how to set up OT BTC/BBR market on a local OT server?

What is the benefit?

Among other things, OT can be exchange at which pretty much anything is exchanged to BBR and vice versa. For convenience, private person can have BBR and exchange it to BTC when needed. I'm sure there are other useful scenarios. BBR runs fast and it is natural to use with OT

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/pope-francis-calls-the-internet-a-gift-from-god-9080117.html
OT is layer that can connects rather than separates ppl.

So, the download for windows doesn't work for 32 bit?

Thanks for telling me after I tried to download twice and wasted my time. @#%$%@#

How am I supposed to get some #@#$@% coins now?

I need berrycoin

Any plans to get a windows client for 32 bit?

BUY https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_bbr
I still wouldn't have a wallet to transfer the coins to, if I bought some coins at those new exchanges.

And leaving coins on new exchanges can be too risky, with exchanges closing shop and stuff.

There needs to be a download for 32 bit systems for windows
A 32-bit system? If you really don't have a 64-bit system to run it on, you need to get one. We don't support the original 286, either.
too much troubles to change from 32 to 64, so i wont be doing that.

That is asking alot, that I would have to go and get a 64 bit system computer, just to be involved with this coin.

Why other coins work with 32 bit, but boolberrycoin doesn't work with 32 bit?

From what I have read, 32 bit is much more common than 64 bit, so, I guess if you only want a smaller percentage of the market for now, then that is what you get if all you have is download for 64 bit.

Anyways, I recommend that you place a notice on your download page, letting people know that the windows download is only for 64 bit, and doesn't work with 32 bit windows.

Or if you know how to make a 32 bit windows download that will work then why not do that?

Other than that, boolberry isn't one of the sht pos coins, I think, and I like that, and I hate pos coins at this time. So stick with pow. I dont like the name boolberry but berrycoin seems better to me.

We briefly explored building for 32-bit. It would have taken a lot of work and was guaranteed to break in the future. Boolberry is not written on the codebase of BTC/LTC/etc, It is very different than most of the other alt-coins.

The Full Package download has "win-x64" in the filename. This is an indicator that file is built for 64-bit windows. I will update the downloads page to make it more obvious that 64-bit is required.

Awesome job zoidberg. I think this is the best CryptoNote coin and the future. BitMonero has been taken over by celebrity pump and dumpers with the sheep mindlessly following them, when the real gem developer is right here. I think with time more and more will come to this coin because of all the advantages and technical advancements you have been making.

I tried again to download boolberry for windows and I followed the link posted to the download.

A popup box tells me:

'The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running.
contact the software publisher'

and it said some crud about 32 or 64 bit.

Bottom line is, it wasted my time again, and the program isn't working.

All the available clients are for 64bit OSes
