Having said that, if any entity requests KYC in order to continue using their services they should at the very least allow those customers that do not want to continue being their customer the opportunity to withdraw their funds before closing the account. I am unsure how BC Game operate in this respect therefore maybe someone more informative will address this.
From what I have seen, several times. It's mostly exchanges that follow that kind of procedure. Where if you refuse to submit KYC verification, they will disable your account and put it on withdraw only.

I think the approach of asking for KYC right before someone deposits makes much more sense to me. The casino is already centralized and can ask for KYC at any time, so why not just make the customer verify right from the start. That way, if someone does not like uploading their documents, they won't register.

If a customer wins a large sum of money, they will just be able to withdraw without any KYC inconveniences since the account is already verified.

Unfortunately, this is not how things work. According to my experience the moment a casino or any other service provider asks you to verify your identity you will no longer be able to withdraw your funds until you submit your documents and successfully pass the kyc process. Some of those service providers will let you continue use their service in the meantime.
According to factor280's experience, it seems BC follow the same procedure.

This is not true. I provided them with my social, which is another form of id here, my expired passport, my drivers license, they just want me to provide an ACTIVE [passport. Thats the only thing they are accepting.

Ideally, no platform would accept an expired document for KYC verification, it's not done anywhere. My advice is that if you've a huge amount on BC.Game, get a new passport, verify your account and withdraw your funds, but if the amount is not much, perhaps you may want to forfeit it. But next time, try not to get yourself entangled in similar situation, always read the casino's ToS before sign up.

Well, I don't want to sound like a smart ass here, but if the passport is invalid no one will take it into account, it's just not a valid document and that's it. What Sokani suggests is more than smart, it shouldn't be a problem to get a valid passport if everything is in order, the process takes from a week to a little more (depending on the country), and when you finish that just provide new documents.

Today, every casino has the right to request different documents for KYC verification. There are indeed different cases, and certainly, some casinos ask for too much, but attaching an expired document is really out of the question.

I have not checked their Terms and Conditions about why they would like KYC to be sent before closing an account

BCGAME asked him to complete KYC verification, but he couldn't finish it. So, he asked them to lock his account and give him the balance, which led to the rejection. If he had asked to close his account and withdraw the balance before his account was flagged, it would have been different. But because they asked for KYC before his request, he'd have to comply with it.

I do not know about what happened in your case therefore can you explain if they wrote to you to explain why they declined your documents?

He used his "driving license," which, according to live support, isn't accepted by BCGAME as a valid form of identification. This isn't just specific to his account; it applies to all accounts created. You can't use a permit or driving license for KYC; you'll need to provide a passport or a valid government issued ID, instead but @factor280 has none and thats what is dragging his case.

Thank you for the explanation, I presumed it was an ongoing or recent process but did not go back in the pages to check as it could have been a time consuming process while I am concentrating on the Premier League football games. In the end, there are terms and conditions that exist on every casino/gaming website. If someone believes the rules are unfair then they should leave that website and find an alternative.

I do hope he manages to get past the stumbling blocks and manages to both withdraw and close his account (if that is what he wants to do).

I have not checked their Terms and Conditions about why they would like KYC to be sent before closing an account but when customers usually register on online gaming websites or casinos they accept a whole range of conditions and many include the asking of KYC as and when they deem appropriate.

I asked BC.Game to close my account and let me withdraw, they said they couldnt without kyc first. Been trying to verify, have sent all my documents, all of them coinciding since im a legit person obviously, and they havent been good enough to let me verify as of yet.

Why do crypto casinos need KYC? bc.game will continue to have bad reviews due to their strange verification rules. Current documents are not accepted. The strangest crypto casino.
Mark, we already know that you had problems with BC.Game and KYC. So there's no need to keep repeating this and making other people feel insecure.

Your case with your document is very specific and simply does not apply to 99.9% of other users. With standard documents such as passports, you don't have the problem you describe here.

Aside from what was mentioned above - casinos also request users to undergo KYC because of cheater and those that are trying to abusing the system to gain access to things that they are not supposed to. For example people abuse casino and try to abuse NDBs by creating multiple account and then tipping their main account with what they were able to get.

If you’re not willing to submit your details there are several other non-kyc site that you can use but since players know that bc can request them to submit their documents they shouldn’t complain, all they have to do is to comply and get it done so that they can continue using the platform. It’s as simple as that.

They're (Centralized Website Casino) meaning at least following regulations for most common businesses.

If you looking without (KYC) you should play on Decentralized Casino while everything is on-chain but mostly you have less game to be play or gambler. Also, mostly everything is under written on their term & condition. Before you play or register, just do a quick research
- Term & Condition
- CTRL+F
- Type KYC

You will find it, it's easy and just under 1 mins for find those. All casino website usually have (KYC), I never trust casino claiming with anonymous things always read their term & condition. Casino can ask you KYC in front after you register or in the end.

BTW, It's not rare other casino have these as well.

It's rare unless you have those written in their term & condition.

So, as the user you can use that against them for your claim. But, the only most things you can do (Verify First > You can withdraw them after that). There also has some problem, when people deposit using an exchange hot wallet (this action only can be refunded by using sender address funs).

Yap, just like I tough (Required verify > withdraw > and you can closed your account)

In the generic sense I am against any online entity asking for KYC (casinos, exchanges, etc) because of the risks involved if/when they get hacked and because of the dangers of legal personal identification documents being sold on the black market and shared between criminal gangs.

Hello, been with BC for over 5 years, level 66 user. Today I was asked to provide KYC verification. Did everything possible and no one could help me out after the automated system failed. Please I need to get this issue resolved. Can someone help me out here please?
the same situation because I am a member of various casino sites, most of which are not accessible in my country, where it is difficult to access or verify KYC. have you used a VPN for KYC verification?
in my opinion because some casino sites are not accessible in my country, I use VPN to be able to access and verify KYC, although the risk of being hacked or blocked is high, .
There are only a few sites that still don't allow any of this because they have their own views on this, so doing everything in consultation is always beneficial for both parties

I don't want to take the wind out of your sails but I think it is not allowed to offer merit as some kind of reward/price in this forum. Just telling you so you are not getting in trouble over this.

Unfortunately I also can't participate since first of all I have no clue about cricket AT ALL  Grin , but also because I am not in the prediction contest.
Nice contest though and I hope you have many participants!

I hope there will be a site soon where I can play ELK again without using VPN.
Logically, since it's the game provider (ELK) who have banned your country then I doubt you will find any casino that will let you play their games.

That's the point, i don't think is the provider who banned my country, i can play ELK in other casinos, but when i try to play that provider on bc.game, it says my country is locked for that provider. So, if other casinos let me play it, then it should be a casino thing and not a provider thing.

For me, ELK provider is one of the most interesting providers around. It's hard to decide which ELK slots are the most interesting, Cygnus & Nitropolis all parts, Pritots 2, TropiCool 2, Propaganda, and a few others are slots that I could play all the time.

For me, nitropolis 3 & 4 are my favorites, isn't easy to get a big multiplier, but i like the RTP, and another great slot from ELK is Cluster Slide.

Would have loved to participate too but unfortunately don't really know and have much interest in IPL sports so I think I will leave it for the pro's but anyways it's a good contest mate and hopefully they will be one for other sports which am more familiar with like soccer and basketball and come to think of it, never really seen any competition being hosted about basketball predictions.
