I won 50$ free bonus code. I won 140$ with it. I withdrew 10$, now it wants KYC. I can't do that.
I consider the 130$ a loss and the 10$ a win.
What.
1. Where you get this 50$ free bonus code? You won in bitcointalk contest sponsored by bc.game?
2. You successful withdraw the 10$ then you tried the remaining balance to withdraw and now you can't withdraw because they asking for KYC? Is this what you mean?
3. Any reason why you can't do KYC? And since you can't do KYC why you can consider it loss, when you can pass it anytime the KYC when you provide the right documents?
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. I never do KYC, none of anyone's business
Unless they have a strong indication you are multi-accounting there should be no such thing as requesting KYC after using a freebie that was won in a contest here. I don't know if we had any case like this before actually but obviously they can always ask for KYC according to their terms. They have the right to do that of course.
If it's the right thing to do is a different question since people in a crypto forum obviously might value their anonymity.
In case other people will be asked to do KYC as well (like I said, I didn't read this before until now) this might impact the amount of people entering these contests since if using the winnings results being asked to go through KYC might make the whole thing less interesting for certain people.
Would be interesting to know if you are an existing customer or only regged because of the contest.
I have only one BC account. The site did not work on Tor browser, I used browser.lol to create an account. I had not made a deposit indeed. At least it cost me nothing. I can stop joining BC contests..
After wagering enough, only a part of my balance as available to withdraw. I did that (10$). Then the rest became available, but after entering email verification code it asked to verify my identity. The balance is now 0, I could not find the transaction history.
I felt like I hit the jackpot for a short moment.
