I almost feared Reals defeat, as their performance against Barcelona (0:4) was also very poor. But I didn't expect them to lose quite clearly at home to AC Milan either. This Champions League season is generally very difficult to predict. On the one hand, very big wins are happening (Dortmund, Bayern, ...) on the other hand, the top favorites also like to lose games against complete outsiders.
I would have predicted Sturm's game against Dortmund much more clearly, I was rather surprised that they “only” won 1:0.
Nobody could have predicted that Real Madrid defeat. Here's why:
— They lost horribly to Barcelona at home.
— Madrid is the king of UCL
— playing at home means they are incentivized to win thanks to their fans and pride.
— Milan hasn't been that great this season so far.
I had Madrid to win on one of my parley because they were the best team on paper prior to the match.

I also lost to Real Madrid, which is really surprising. But at least the other bet on Dortmund paid off. I made other bets in the Brazilian league that helped me recover from Real's loss, but this defeat is something to be surprised about, especially playing at home.
Ya. That Madrid loss yesterday was unfortunate. I know many punters got rekt hard. Madrid had no point losing but they did and that sucks.
Like you, I had a backup bet that won and it brought me back to break even. So I was breakeven that weekend and breakeven yesterday.
Fingers crossed for today.
