It is your imagination but BCH coin doesn't have the potential to reach this target ever but it can dro significantly from here as it is just a coin created through the fork.
Even their development team no longer exists in this project and this is really a very risky coin to invest. This price increase may have been set because whales tend to pump these coins for a short time but will sell them when they have made a huge amount of money. I think if people can predict the price of BCH then they probably have become millionaires

In the time past I have believed many prediction but none turned out positive, so nowadays i hardly trust any prediction owing to how volatile this space is. If the market recovers and all turns out well, it might surpass at the same time it might not.

This is very unlikely in my opinion. It will take a miracle for such to happen this year. Probably if BTC does 100k dollars then can BCH be 2k dollars . Indeed, BCH still doesn't have any big information or updates that will come out in the near future, and it makes the opportunity to bch can achieve price as $ 2000 would be very low, however, as you say, any story can also occur. Honestly, I don't like the coin fork at all, including BCHabc / BCHsv. I've lost a lot of money from this fork coin. they are totally bad for me, I'd better invest in altcoins that are already popular or have a lot of users because of the possibility of a small risk, fork coins drain my money.
BCH though a fork coin - but it has long been developing independently and positioning itself as the best option of bitcoin.Yes, she very speculative and can as strongly grow,so and fall-the more in its growth interested Roger Ver.
Therefore, I think with the overall growth of the market-BCH will be able to show a very decent growth.
BCH will touch $ 2000 if the price of bitcoin reaches $ 20,000, as we know that altcoins are very bitcoin dependent so if the price of bitcoin is below $ 10,000 maybe the price won't be far from now.

I know it's achievable not doubt about it, but then again, BCH as like the rest of altcoin market is pump-and-dump. So if ever it will touches $2k, don't be greedy and get out so that you won't regret when the price plummets.
BCH on its own cannot achieve that set target without the assistance of Bitcoin, as I can see that many of them are also trying to lift up along with Bitcoin, for BCH to be 2k by end of this year, then BTC would have grown to like $30,000 which everyone knows that it is not a realistic figure for the year.I know it's achievable not doubt about it, but then again, BCH as like the rest of altcoin market is pump-and-dump. I personally don’t even believe in investing that much in all these coins that are copy of Bitcoin, they still end up relying on bitcoin for them to fully increase in price, so what is now the essence of creating this coins that will end up being dumped in future. Everyone should just sell all these coins for BTC.

Bitcoin and ethereum was quite close in value few weeks ago, now the growth that has taken place with bitcoin cash is very big compared to the growth happening with ethereum. If the similar level of growth happen with bitcoin cash can expect the price to be higher than $2000 by the end of the year or within few months.

I guess some market and cryptocurrency enthusiast just say that, and that does not necessarily means that it will going to be true, one way coin are getting huge token circulation is through these people, depends if the market is going to believe them but most of the time, it is not happening, I am still hoping for the best on the best crypto which is bitcoin.
BCH and Ethereum are coins that I rely on to be able to return my money, I invested around $ 3200 in 2018 and left around $ 600, I still hold Bitcoin Cash and ETH and expect the market to be positive soon.
I bet it will drop to zero in a few years. Especially when second layer solutions like lightning network and different privacy features will be implemented to BTC. Bitcoin cash is just a piece of shit and it always was so. 
It is very unlikely that Bitcoin Cash will become completely worthless. The reason why I am saying this is ever since its creation from the hard fork in 2017, BCH has managed to get backing from some of the most powerful people in the crypto-world and it has slowly but steadily built a dedicated and loyal community. Transaction fee is not the only issue that lead to the creation of BCH. According to Roger Ver, BCH is closer to Satoshi's coin when compared to the current BTC. And if I am not wrong, BCH mining is more profitable right now, when compared to BTC mining.

I believe this call was induced by the recent increase in price of bch from a little less than $180 usd to $320 usd in 2days. While it is good to be hopeful it is also necessary to look at technical potentials of bch and then manage expectations
If I remember correctly, this coin was worth $ 2000 when bitcoin was worth $ 18,000. I think we will not see such a high price for this coin, I hope that $ 500 + we will overcome! Very good growth was at the slightest fluctuation of the market up, it pleases. Waiting for guys.
