Was it a mistake sending bytecoins from my wallet to an exchange?

This shows up:

Looks like the wallet is down on the exchange - you'll have to wait for the wallet to be back online for your funds to be visible and hope that there aren't forking issues - you could try logging a ticket with the exchange.

Are there may people running BCN wallets these days?

mine wont even get that far FYIcryptoz .. im on block 127 something...

I synced mine something like 3 weeks ago, naturally you have to sync everytime you startup your wallet.
This is one of the worst (in speed) wallets I have experienced so far. I'm also getting rid of my BCN, I feel like this project is going nowhere.
I could be wrong, but its pure gut feeling.

I am just wondering where this going towards. It has somekinda active development now but noone really cares about it like monero and other anon coins.
I think you are quite wrong about that, based on the number of clones. Just the code and the features are not documented at all, and this makes caring about it very difficult

Calling developers, web designers, marketing professionals (or other relevant skills) with an interest in Bytecoin

Lemon Brothers is a new Slack group to discuss developing services for Bytecoin

 Some of the goals are

 - An exchange where people can buy small amounts of Bytecoin with a credit card (10 - 30$)
 - A Bytecoin market with shopfronts (blockchain or standard website to be discussed)
 - A highly secure and verifiably serious Bytecoin cold storage service
 - A crowdfunded Bytecoin hardware wallet
 - Any projects our members think are important

Please join me on Slack to get involved https://lemon-brothers.slack.com/
 # To get access to the Lemon Brothers Slack just PM me your e-mail and let me know what skills you are bringing

We will organize using Bitshares, Wave Tokens or some other way (Experts opinions welcome)

If you just want to sit on your Bytecoins while others do all the work please consider at least donating a few Bytecoins to the project here : 2266VxpQ3AB8GLCBLPC2bKjLTv4aZUdfLJFoEvyvrahYV8rccsBtjs73BY8o6WbPTdcKQVxhn3dMxN1 PtsQxHVgvCpRhv8x

See you soon folks let's get stuck in!

I doubt if this coin has any active development team and wallet issues in polo is there since past 4 months nobody cares and poloniex is the exchange where more than 75% of BCN trading is taking place.

I wished to know what's the identity of this manipulator trading with himself on polo. 75% of BCN trading volume in an exchange, that does not allow withdraw and deposit.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Humans brain is too complex, in regard to it's malfunction. Biologically only the easiest solution for a symbiosis with natur can survive, natural rules will regulate that soon.

The first step to get BCN moving, IMO, is to have a spokesperson come out and explain the allegations about the launch...maybe.

Was there really a large premine?

If so, do we really care?

If not, can the spokesperson explain why the White Papers appear to be falsely dated?

Even if we cannot ever have a spokesperson explain what happened, if you have a great bit of tech and it really works; and the damned things runs fully loaded on my machine, is faster and more private than Bitcoin, does it really matter if the developers tried to obfuscate the launch -- to maintain their privacy? (If that's what happened.)

Just wanna announce that yesterday BFB program got 2500 BCN as a donation.

Thanx for support

Also, i'd like to clarify one thing. A lot of requests were sent to me about problems with the wallet, namely that their money didn't arrive.

This problem was described in backlog under #1 . The wallet can not sync with the blockchain

I've seen a lot of questions about it on bytecointalk

for example https://bytecointalk.org/showthread.php?tid=715

And I want to remind you one more time, I'm searching for developers who will fix this and others problem. I promise a very good reward.

Write me to get more info

P.S. Searching for a guy who will help me with all incoming bug verification. Reward!

As I have said time and time again.

Your bounty program is doomed for failure.

The Bytecoin devs do not give a crap about other people who want to help.

They do not check pull requests (bug fixes) on GitHub, so if I, or any other dev, found issues. They would not accept it.

Secondly, they still have not said what the main repository for their code is.

Third, Provided you keep your wallet synced, given it can take some days. There shouldn't be an issue. Mine works fine.

if you can get me a link to the current code base, show me the bugs, I will happily fix it.

Weird to hear that from you cause you were one of the first who volunteered their help and then just disappears!

Have you read bytecointalk? There are plenty of messages about the problem with synchronization. You're not the first who tell me that
“everything is ok with my wallet” but there are also other users who don’t think so.

All current bugs are placed in the backlog (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CXyQAOjQrKEqKzTmtoAwXj6TqYyzyVA_2rAxvtZ43nI/edit#gid=0), you can choose one of them and try to fix. As I know the all codes were placed on Github.

If you know about other (not listed in the backlog) bugs I'll happily add it in the sheet and give you reward.
