Well, I’ve already read this topic and initially didn’t want to comment on it, but since you're asking me to give feedback, I will.
To be honest I'm happy to see that I'm not the only enthusiast who is trying to buoy up the community and improve the current situation.
But that being said, our goals are totally different. I’m trying to improve the already existing official software, whereas they are trying to create their own bytecoin ecosystem. It's an ambitious idea, and sounds impressive, but it seems like they forgot about the official bcn developers... Looks a bit like a seizure of power to me.
I don’t know if the Twitter message is true or just another scam, but it's a clear fact that bcn devs are not dead. The guy I'm in contact with ignores all my questions about their “public come back”, but he was definitely interested in the bounty program and community support.
No one knows if this situation with new bcn markets, wallets and storage will destroy the official dev team or will be the push for their public come back. We'll see!
But we need to keep in mind that for now we only have the existing official software.
I don’t know how fast these other guys will get their team together, develop a new wallet, storage etc..
But chances are they will end up starting a bounty program exactly as I am in a few months...
Btw, since I've been running this bounty program I've gotten a lot of messages from different magazines to advertise, and complaints from users about why their software "doesn’t work."
Guys, please remember, i’m not part of the official bcn team! i’m just like u. If u ask me to be your community leader, I'll probably say yes
But for now i'm addressing you purely as an enthusiast, and I don’t have the right to officially speak on behalf of the bcn team.
