It is not "very cheap". It was trading at less than 10 sats a few days ago. It was cheap then, not now. Now it is already pumped. Waiting to be dumped.
You, your want to buy a big amount of BCN ;-)

Order book and numbers are clear : the market is bullish.

bytecoin start from 2014, price haven't change much

waiting to explode
I think we can expect a big pump soon, becouse of very cheap price -> easy big profit.

On the other hand, I believe this is another pump and dump so just be aware of that so you don't lose.

Good :-).
Up to what price, you think ?

Is there a way to take out BCN from Bytecoin wallet which does not work?

- Mac OSX one does not even start
- Windows one crashes
- Linux one works sometimes but after the synchronisation it says disconnected and there is now way to connect it to the network

So if I have my wallet.dat is ther any way to take BCN some other way? If so, how to do it?
I am also doing it now. downloaded the wallet, now syncs. then I will copy the old wallet file instead of the new.
everything works. synchronize, after which I closed the program. copied old wallet file "bytecoinwallet.wallet" instead of the new. opened, and coins in place.

I think there are some problems with Polo, i think BCN will eventually be "de-frozen"
Yeah, its happened a few times before in the past - the wallet usually comes back online in a few days

BCN frozen on Polo Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
I just went to withdraw my BCN from my wallet to Polo and Polo wallet is frozen now : imposssible to make orders !!! :-(

What's going on ?
Is it the pump signal or due to the next pump ?

Many have reported issues with Polo so I hope you will be able to withdraw soon once these issues are resolved.

If anyone had trouble mining with the instructions I gave, you should not, but if you did, check out this instructional for CPU mining at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16217357

Or just mine from your BCN wallet.

It's CPU.  You also can participate in pools.  Not hard.

You can use Minergate but you don't have to.

Follow instructions that the pools give you for what miner to use if they have a recommended open source miner, I also have some recommended open source miners (starting about halfway down my post here)
https://odinn.cyberguerrilla.org/2014/06/28/decentralizingfinance/
Also see this since Wolf's miner link has been updated various times since I made my post above on it:
 https://github.com/OhGodAPet/cpuminer-multi
Just go to the link above in my cyberguerrilla post and scroll down about halfway and find the part where it says "Mining Bytecoin" and you will see it.. check bitcointalk threads and the source on github for further details if you need.

Also you can mine directly from the GUI wallet, since it has that function, so it's pretty intuitive once you explore it.

Refer back to my post here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18913486
Regarding markets and sale of goods, notably, OB is now on mainnet - no longer in testnet, so it's full speed ahead and yes as I pointed out in my earlier post there is now a way to accept altcoins on OB.

That's all the instruction you will ever need on this one.

p.s. check the I2P thread you will see BCN is likely to appear there (exchanged.I2P) soon, details here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18929931

It's been a long time coming, not done yet but the more people ask for it the more likely it is to happen.

BYTECOIN is going up to 1000 like STELLAR ? :-D

Coin is dead or alive?

Current coin alive but no more, future is dead.

No one interested to adopt this coin. This coin still alive because minergate still support pool for bcn

Wow, what a lot of FUD.  As usual from this thread, which I don't frequent anymore because of FUD.

As of right now, BCN is number 18 on Coinmarketcap, which is up from position 35 which it was a while back and I think I recall sometime when it was much lower, in the 60s somewhere.  https://coinmarketcap.com/  Things change but as you can see it's trending up.  Here is the trend line from 2014 to present:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bytecoin-bcn/#charts
Some ups and downs (and some obvious spikes that were clearly temporary in nature) but as you can see, the overall trend line shows a slow climb in value.

There are six well-known mining pools for BCN, not "just minergate" and there are others beyond the six well-known ones.

BCN is up today again, +84-88 percent change over 24 hours for BCN/BTC pair on Poloniex depending on when you look at the figures.  Yes, it's still active on Poloniex.

Changer, HitBTC, BTCMarket, CryptoEscrow.eu also are available.  Oh, and changelly at https://changelly.com/exchange/BTC/BCN/ for which there is a button right on the coinmarketcap listing.  For anyone who cares to use these exchange systems.

You can technically trade it over OpenBazaar (decentralized market) as well, but only slowly.
See https://gist.github.com/drwasho/aa6ab79e92f2a876073e
Or you can try making a listing in your store and see what happens.  Get creative.

Oh, and now you can actually set up an OpenBazaar instance to accept whatever is your favorite altcoin for payment.  So if you want to set up OpenBazaar store to accept BCN for payment for goods you offer for sale, YES you can do that.  Nobody was paying attention when OpenBazaar developers announced this, but anyway I posted it so that you would know, here is the link.
https://bytecointalk.org/showthread.php?tid=13570
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS in the link above if you want to do that.  If you have issues raise them with the OB team not with me, I didn't design it, it's just great they made that available.

Decentralized currency exchange Bitsquare is a place where it would be great to be able to trade BCN, but right now it is not formally supported.  That is an issue that has to be addressed via the dev team.
The issues that have to be accomplished for BCN to appear on the Bitsquare (bitsquare.io) decentralized exchange, which will soon be renamed to bisq, are here:
https://bytecointalk.org/showthread.php?tid=457
Someone offered a bounty to have it happen of 0.2 BTC
There are other requirements that the Bitsquare developer has in order for the BCN developers to have BCN accepted on Bitsquare, those are outlined here:  https://forum.bitsquare.io/t/how-to-add-your-favorite-altcoin/46
These requirements MUST BE MET before anything can occur on Bitsquare / bisq, and it is a process that takes time, if you want BCN to be on Bitsquare's DECENTRALIZED CURRENCY EXCHANGE, then you need to open an issue on the BCN github at https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin/issues so that when the devs next make commits and testing your issue will be considered.

In case you are curious who am I, I am just some person who had a neat idea, and I worked with BCN developers and the community to get it implemented in BCN.
History on that here https://bytecointalk.org/showthread.php?tid=82

X2 in a few mn/hours : 36 sats each BCN.
70 sats in a few mn/hours ?
After the 100 sats and more ?

Really? Just undermines credibility showing support to a coin that is surely in scam land IMO, no social media posts for months, forum full of spam being posted every minute, non existent development team, no updates or communication.
Who are all these newbies on the topic.
False newbies ?

It felt the organized pump...
