It still have big market cap so no reason to delist it right now.
Coin is still tradeable and mineable, blockchain is not broken, so...

Yep, it survived another Polo cull - I was pretty surprised to be honest - Maybe some of the polo team have substantial holdings in the coin - price and volume were very low until recently

Even though I don't hold Bytecoin I still think it's pretty shitty that we as a community of peoples interested in decentralized technologies are beholden to these centralized exchanges.

Just ranting.

I've been having exactly the same thoughts recently - I'm hoping that decentralised exchanges will become much bigger in the next couple of years - especially if the centralised ones keep behaving in the way they are

Relax, the coin is DEAD.

If devs still working - it should be new coin, not BCN.

BCN isn't dead, neglected yes, but not dead. Watch this space!

Just curious though, can we see the coin at no value at all as an extreme bad scenario?

Worse case scenario is a delisting from Polo - there is no good alternative exchange, that would crash the price of the coin through the floor - I was expecting/preparing for a BCN delist after XDN was delisted - but still seems alive. And with current market cap - hopefully we will be okay
I'm really surprised it didn't get delisted on Polo with the last wave... while some other coins shouldn't have been...

Dev team could be under the shadows planning something big. The chart just looks interesting this past year, some great accumulation, and the sells are stacked way too aggressively to keep the price down, even when it was pumping. It is holding decent value in market cap as well as has some good buy support on it as well for just being 5 sats before the initial pump. I have a weird feeling about this coin, in a good way.

I agree with this at some point. There could be something interesting with this coin and I can see that it is now on alcurEX.

Any news? Speculations perhaps?

On the other hand, Bytecoin forum is filled with spams with no moderators whatsoever. So this should be a negative sign. But again no one knows for sure what would happen.

Just curious though, can we see the coin at no value at all as an extreme bad scenario?

It really sucks the more I look into the project the more it looks dead.  The wallet is one of the cleanest I've seen. The major issue appears to be with the volume of coins.

The main problem is that there is no active dev team anymore

The last comit was Jan 9 2017 - https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin/commit/d56f1c51664d9868403480867e8e68df49993e1e

Not sure but I heard they were almost all mined out as well... anyone know?

Who does commit to their github and where is iconic expert? Something is not right here, expert is probably hanging out in ccex trollbox as always while a community dude with low salary makes changes to the code. I don't know who that guy is but he is probably a cocky babbler from airport terminal. I will investigate what is going on after I buy another 2K eth.
