Did you open your wallet? Any proofs? I would be glad to see the history of the wallet or something else to prove your words

Yep! Like I said, I found 80M or so.
I don't give a toss if you believe me or not!  Cheesy

Did you watched the interview with the Father of C++ on reddit thread? all the 2 hours were so exciting for me!

The question is probably stupid, but is he related to the creation of BCN?

Does he look like someone from Abba?  Grin

Also his book was easier going than K & R's C book.  Smiley

Let's just say, he relates to the all crypto-currency world. Without his developments there would be no bitcoin, any alternate cryptocurrencies, and many other great things

That's weird but I also remember that there were an announcement that told there is going to be 4 parts. Maybe the author has changed his mind?
Bytecoin reddit says that there are 4 parts http://www.reddit.com/r/BytecoinBCN/comments/2fu7on/mysteries_and_puzzles_behind_the_cryptonote/
However this topic contain a link to the Coinsource website and guess what?   Coinsource website let us know that there are only three parts
(Proof: http://www.coinssource.com/the-mysteries-and-puzzles-behind-the-cryptonote-technology/)
That's what I'm talking about. As the Agent99 said... maybe the author has changed his mind?

Well, this morning, I got the wallet working. Grin To cut a long story short I found an old diary which had a few passwords in the notes section I completely forgot about using. Got in after a few combos and after refresh not as many coins as I remembered 81M - I might have another wallet somewhere. But this is on the daemon/simplewallet I downloaded last week!  Cheesy I am looking through other backups.

Now mining BCN (is it best to use Claymore?) and am checking other alts as well.
I found the cryptonote site (cryptonight?) and am also looking at coins on the list - what other coins are popular? I see Monero mentioned a lot in this thread and on ALTS - I already downloaded and mining that one. It has a lot fewer coins - so mining is a bit slow!  Smiley Do all these cryptonotes basically look and work the same?  Huh

TO SUM UP:

Part 1 - Mysteries and Puzzles Behind the CryptoNote Technology (1/3)
Some general info about CN technology and BCN and the team

Part 2 - Mining Groups in the Blockchain (Part 2 of 3)
About groups who have been mining BCN since the beginning

Part 3 - Keeping it Quiet – CryptoNote Special Conclusion (Part 3 of 3)
Article about future vision in brief.

Really interesting article. The mysteries and puzzles behind CryptoNote and Bytecoin are fascinating. There really are so many unanswered questions regarding Cryptonote and Bytecoin. Other than the technology itself, this is what Bytecoin is all about.

Likewise to you sir. Have great day!

I understand and respect your opinion, personally i like to read yours posts, is clear that you are a educated and enlightened man. Smiley

As for me, i will keep follow both 1.º BCN and in 2.º XMR.

Have a nice day.

What if is not a lie? (Personally i don´t have a clue)

What if some one present proofs that they launched the coin as they say?

If it is credible and verifiable proof from a source entirely outside of the control or influence of those responsible for the fraud, then I will believe it.

What if the devs are really good in what they do?

I don't care how good they are. As long as they are their project is based on lies and fraud I'm not interested

EDIT: Also, the precise reason for forking in open source is that when the original developers get badly off track, the community can give them the boot and continue on with a new fork. That is exactly what happened here. If lies and fraud don't qualify as "badly off track" I don't know what does.

The technology will live on. The project responsible for fraud and lies should not and likely will not. They will keep at it for a while, because trying to get some value out of their 100 billion premined coins is worth a fair amount of ongoing effort. But eventually they will give up on that even.

You seem to me a person with a open mind, so keep it open just in case.

I have an open mind. If there is proof as I described above I will evaluate it in light of the other I've evidence already seen and possibly change my conclusions.

Quote
If it is a scam coin, why all the technology around this coin?

Because the two have nothing to do with each other.

Time will tell if we did right or wrong believing the devs of Bytecoin.

As far as the evidence shows at this point, anyone who has believed "since 2012" story has been deceived. If you enjoy being deceived, then carry on. I can only tell you that Santa Claus isn't real. If you still want to believe, believe.

smooth, I wish the same - I wish BCN be as interesting as it was at the beginning with it's mysteries and puzzles, but I don't think it is a scam. There is no hurt from BCN. And the community is not based on lies and fraud as you think, there maybe some user who lies but it is in every community, in every thread.
