Not sure, my laptops just run windows 7 home premium 32bit and I just use the 32bit GUI miner from MinerGate. Since you use WinXP you won't be able to do that. So I'm really not sure, sorry.  

Cryptonote has closed and I am left with bytecoin to somehow transfer out of there! I do not have a bytecoin wallet and cannot find one to download, except at github! I am not computer savvy enough to know how to use this. Does anyone know where or how I can get my bytecoin out of cryptnote? I also have a very small amount of btc which was change for the bytecoin. I have sent  ticket to cryptonote and they may help me to solve this, as I am sure I am not the only one without a bytecoin wallet. Any suggestions will be gratefully received/ Thanks

How do you do that? I tried to do some pool mining on bcn.extremepool.org using mining_proxy and minerd, in order to avoid high memory requirements and 64Bit requirement. But I did not succeed at all. Probably also here is 64 Bit needed? What line you are using  for mining-proxy? Or are you using http-protocol? I tried this but got some "16-bit-dos" error... Laptop is "Centrino Duo", OS is WinXP.

I'm freaking out! What just happened to the exchange rate? Sell at 3 satoshis on Poloniex? It was at 8 satoshis last night on cryptonote exchange. There were some nice pumps on cryptonote exchange while on Poloniex it stayed very low. I hope BCN buyers will move to Poloniex...

CryptoNote Exchange is shutting down

Before you freak out: No, we did not get hacked. Yes, 100% of the funds are in our reserves and secure.

This exchange was launched first and foremost to bring monero to exchanges. As I have stated previously most features were disabled and a basic but functional exchange was setup for this purpose. Long term my plan is to launch a much more comprehensive exchange on the domain "exchange.to". In that sense, cryptonote exchange has served as a beta test for this project and I am very pleased with how smooth everything went.

Since our launch, other and more established exchanges has opened for trading of monero and bytecoin and this has resulted in declining volume and liquidity here.

We peaked at ~250 btc volume within 24 hours. At most we held more than 10% of the entire MRO supply in our reserves, at this point, we hold ~64k MRO, ~600k BCN, ~100 BTC. We have 745 members.

Running an exchange is great responsibility as funds must be secure at all times, there can be no critical bugs and there is an on-going need for support work. With the maintenance work of unreliable MRO/BCN wallets, this responsibility and low volume combined I have decided that my time is better spent with full focus on further development.

Running this exchange has given me great insight into hurdles that must be overcome for the exchange to be truly great and I would like to thank everyone for participating.

still there are no pools which support bcn gpu mining, only mro. i tried mro, and cards are on low temps, just like on x11

sh**  it was only qestion of time. but still it is not such a huge increase of hashrate as in other coins.... at least I suppose.

I used to trade on spreadsheet one but since there is Cryptonote and Poloniex I've started to trade there. and, to tell the truth, in the time there was no official exchange there was no  dump

I prefer Cryptonote Exchange and first  BCN exchange -  google spreadsheet ex created by abit2slo.

How did you get that? Are you the member of one of them??  as according to your post you've been in BCN since 2013

Need to make a huge research work and analysis all block chains to find out the major team

I wonder if it's possible that all these team can cooperate and influence on BCN price??
