Yes of course. I said the client but I meant the daemon.

haven't seen that one yet then, as long as the daemon is synced all should be good.

It must be a port problem, how do I specify the port on both daemon and wallet if I don't want to use 8081 ?

I think this is occasionally solved by typing "save" command to save the blockchain and unfreeze the daemon.
