I have got too much experience with investing in scam coins ,I have lost too much money with them so now I am searching only for promising project with solid and experienced team.Guys,be very careful in your choice before investing in Icos or joining bounties.

In order to never fall into such a trap, you will only need to observe one rule “Always invest only in work projects with ready-made working products".

Projects that have clear products, sometimes it is not too good and there are not too many differences with the scam coin because what it's better than the scam coin is just that it's listed but even if it's listed, we will still be disappointed when its value is too low and there's no buy volume. I see a lot of such projects, and for that reason, the safest I can think of is that we should stop investing in ico or projects that are not prominent in the market, old altcoin is still enough for them have a profit, no need to continue risking and finding new places

Wow I really did not know that Privcy had been set as a Scam project, I participated in it, I did not invest anything, at first it was very exciting, but there came a time when the project did not offer anything else, everything was stagnant, It was at that moment when I decided to sell all those coins, because I knew there was something weird about there.

In fact I know many friends who decided to invest there, it is unfortunate, in addition many people who had come out disappointed in a similar project called DeepOnion something similar happened to them, because that project is dead today, they had all the success in their hands and they let everything That was, but thank you very much for the information, it's really a shame, it looked like it would look good on that project but it turned out to be a scam.

Now that most of the people are well aware of scam ICOs, scammer has found another way to scam people. I have observed 3 projects till now which I will list here and give you a highlights how they scam people, specially the newbie.

1. Privcy
Privacy was a free airdropped coin which was distributed freely over the community for helping promoting the project. Later, they decide to reward more to the holder of the coin in airdrops. The more coin you hold, the more airdrop coin you get. Newbies started to buy coins for getting more airdrop coin and DEV were selling their coin. I am sure they had a lot of fake accounts participating in the Airdrop. Can you believe they scammed people in such a way? Now, the project is died, 24 hour volume is- $620 which was less than $100 couple of weeks ago.

2. Profish
Profish was an ICO which came into the exchange before the bounty end. They were listed in mercatox and used to have some fake volumes. I don't know what happened to their ICO but they sold a lot of coins through mercatox and later, the price is now 1 or 2 satoshi from 650 satoshi. This is also a dead project. They scammed people.

3. Helios Protocol- Be aware
Helios Protocol is now airdropping coin to their community. This attract my eyes when I see user vectisitch was vouching the project. He was a moderator in privcy, so, there's no doubt that both of the project are from same person and this helios shit is also going to scam money. I want to alert you guys not to invest in this scam project.
Here is the vouching comment- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50087444

Scam projects are the greatest undoing of the crypto-currencies space. They discourage investors by their activities from putting money into projects. Can they be stopped, that would be good for the sanity of the crypto-currencies ecosystem
Sadly no, because there is no rules for ICO and so many scammers can easily make their own ICO. That's why investors also give up investing on ICOs nowdays. Scam coins in cryptocurrency is many so becareful guys, don't invest without knowing the information of the crypto.

Bitcoin is GOD
It is going to be easy again for Scammers to catch new preys as the cryptocurrency market is recovering very well. We are likely going to have more newbies joining crypto now who need to be aware of this scamming techniques.
That is something that really upsets me, the recovery of bitcoin is a great news that everyone should be celebrating but as more people begin to invest scammers are going to find ways to get their money and then those people are going to think that the market of cryptocurrencies is unsafe and they will tell their experiences to their friends and anyone that is willing to listen and this is going to slow down adoption.

So scammers are not only affecting the people from which they steal, they are also affecting us, if it was not for scammers can you imagine the price that bitcoin could have already?

I have briefly observed several ICOs, and it is true that there are many modes of fraud that occur. This is very detrimental and worrying, that's why I am now more focused on weekly trading and have not been interested in entering the ICO. In 2018 it will be a valuable experience for me, when I lose my money due to ICO scam. I hope to get a change from the current trade.

Thanks for sharing the information. I believe we can all help each other by sharing this type of information to prevent us from being scammed. Let us all try as much as possible to spread news related to scam ICO's on this platform.
Spread the information and remain vigilant with all the projects that you might be interested with in the future. Many scam projects are still rotating and probably hiding in sheep's clothing so don't stop helping others informing them about such projects that you might have noticed.

I think beginners will come when Bitcoin will cost more than 10 thousand dollars. and then we will really see a lot of scammer schemes. including the new finance pyramids ...
this often appears in my country. well, bitcoin has always been the reason for people to get laymen on something scam. by showing bitcoin, they introduce other coins that they say have such potential. this mode always exists. because of this, information, as well as knowledge, are very much needed in investing. so many scam coins are offered in various ways, even a big bonus.

of course this often happens, the higher the cryptocurrency market price, the more scammers emerge by exploiting the market situation to make a profit. especially beginners are the main target of scammers due to lack of knowledge, beginners can easily be tempted by the gifts that will be given from scammers who deliberately make fake projects to benefit from people who have put money into projects managed by irresponsible people

Entering the market of common ventures, the speculator has the chance to check the organization in the new market yet, so you must be mindful so as not to contribute a substantial sum for you. What's more, not to lament about support, on the off chance that you have lost. I state, "thank you for the cash", since I hold this conclusion: on the off chance that I am bound to procure here, it will occur, on the off chance that not, at that point ........ Be that as it may, I'm in

It is high time scammers should face punishment and the crypto market should be made free of any such bad activities. We know that the market is flooded by scammers. But we are forced to continue to fall prey to traps placed by scammers. It is because of lack of strict regulations, apathy on the part of authorities and lack of awareness. Most of us, investors and bounty hunters, are hesitant to report scams to concerned authorities. It is because of lack of awareness. We must unite to end scams.

Helios protocol is not a scam. There are a lot of other projects that have recently copied the helios name which are absolutely scams. But the helios protocol at https://heliosprotocol.io is not a scam. They are a registered corporation in BC with a Dun and Bradstreet number that can be found here: https://creditreports.dnb.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DxpReportSelectionCmd?langId=-1&storeId=18050&catalogId=100361&country=CA&selectedDuns=1. They also list their entire team on the website, and are fully open source. You can see all of their code and commits here: https://github.com/Helios-Protocol.

For a scam to be a scam it must take money from people. Helios Protocol has not taken a cent from anyone anywhere. So it by definition couldn't possibly be a scam if they wanted.

Can anyone please explain to me why Helios Protocol is included in this list?
