I don't seriously understand why people in Telegram are still keeping to conceive or trick people who already have experience in the crypto space by inviting them to their Telegram Channel and sending them a DM because I still experience this kind of things in Telegram. But as they all say, as long as bo one is a con-man if no one is a fool, that is why beginners or newbies should never let scammers fool them because of their greediness and ignorance.
The answer is easy. They are just waiting for a victim like the friend of OP to bite their bait and run away with their money. Scammers like this are blindly sending messages like this to anyone. I myself received some kind of message this past few weeks. Newbies who don't have enough knowledge would have a high chance to be baited with this trick. Having not enough knowledge about anything would make you feel it is limitless and that feeling will turn your greediness on.

Telegram is indeed one of the easiest way to scam people who want to make thousands of dollars overnight. When you respond to their first message and seem interested then they know you are one of the gullible greedy ones so they continue to scam you. You friend need to join this forum to learn how to avoid such scams.

Your friend also need to know in the street of crypto and internet, you can't trust anybody. I hope that wasn't his last penny and i hope he has learnt his lessons.

When it sound too good to be true 'Guaranteed double or triple gains' (It's a scam)
When you need to pay to be able to withdraw (It's a scam)
When they start the conversation with 'hello friend or hello sir' (It's a scam)
If they try so hard to show you documents and license to be able to take money from you (It's a scam)

Since I dowloaded Telegram in 2017 I get many scam messages from people. They see you in cryptocurrencies related groups and they send you DM. And also they add you to telegram groups and they keep spamming and scamming. What I do is time to time I leave these groups and block these guys. But again and again its happening.

Don't trust anybody who offers you something on Telegram. They are trying to hunt people. I don't warn people who is already in crypto for years but we have many newbies here. For their information.

This is the common problem with the people who would like to make an investment some of them easily caught with this kind of telegram users promoting or make a private message to a random people and if they catch up because the large return of investment still its better to make a research first before doing this kind of activity to prevent getting scam there is money involved if you not afraid to lose money go ahead try to risk but if you don't want better make sure first. Also, recommend to make a proper format or use default styles to prevent annoying to read.

This is my first post with images and I explained which happened with my friend and thanks for the guidelines.
Hello, I hope the links below could help you navigate and post in this community comfortably.
[1] Bitcointalk posting etiquette
[2] Make your topic title, posts more attractive
[3] Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks

Also, there are lots of people in the telegram community who are approaching people asking if know and you wanted to join any bitcoin related invest that are too good to be true in first place. Schemes that offers x5 up to x100000000000... investment returns in a matter of few weeks are no doubt fraud. Note that cryptocurrency doesn't work that way.

I highly suggest to check out what @tranthidung said regarding telegram.

Please resize the image through modifying the code.
Code:

xxx=number that you would like to modify it and redesign that fits it smaller. E.g. 300, 400, 500, etc.

Those bold texts and size are unnecessary, modify it as well.

I guess OP does not know options to adjust size of images that are too large now so that the images and texts inside don't dominate the texts OP wrote. Hence, OP used large fonts for his own texts. Also, highlights with red, blue colors simultaneously with large fonts is bad practice.

Adjust the size with width=200 then OP will be able to normalize his text size. With the width size, you can combine up to 5 images in a single row.  Wink

You get scammed when you become either greedy or reckless in financial world. The same is applicable with cryptocurrencies. Most scams are found on platforms related to social media and a large chunk is available on Telegram.

On Telegram avoid talking to strangers, avoid joining airdrop, avoid joining trading signals, avoid free give aways and lucrative earning opportunity.

Follow all the above and also use common sense and you will be safe.

There is a lot of fraud circulating, and it's sad that people are happy getting money from others to feed their families with that money, what I can say is don't transact with personal messages coming from someone who you don't know, it's one of the rules that you should remember, especially that people need money they will do anything, mostly they say they were the head of the project or manager, the legit company will always say that they will not send you personal messages, so just be careful.

That's ridiculously large text my man.  We can understand in normal sized English.

Some tutorials for Telegram:

The offer is too good to be true, invest 2 BTC and get 6 BTC back in short time. Is life too easy as that? OP's friend ignored the clear warning and got loss by his/her decisions.

I have a lot of messages like that on telegram and even keep pushing. I already know that such a method is a scam. Don't just respond and block it. If your friend gets into the trap and deposits $ 350, is your friend that careless in hopes of making some quick cash? Don't expect fast money that easy.

LO everyone responds to your text which is too big, really annoying. You have to know which sections need large and small text.
My eyes are still normal.

Disregarding that big images (lol), your friend got trapped because of blindness.

I don't take being a newbie as a reason why it happened as there are other newbies out there that know how to deal with that spam advertisement. As someone with $350, it should be a common approach all ready to think twice before investing money.

Too good to be true. Hope your friend can move on easily and learned from that.

As for these scams, these are popular styles that sadly, a lot of newbies would still be a victim of. Earning cryptocurrencies is like how we earn in real life. There's no quick profits on it. If there is, that's likely a scam.

Unfortunately such scams are very popular these days. They all follow the same pattern. The system is designed to prey on people that don't have sufficient information about bitcoin or trading. I opened a discussed before now if there are still legit crypto groups/channels in telegram. Almost everyone is trying to rip you off. Bitcointalk forum is my safe haven.

Do you mind not using bold 50pt large font?
It's actually hurting the eyes and too much work to keep scrolling down.

All those cloud minings are scam. Do not step in those traps.

Don't trust on them whom you don't know.
Many are trapped in these fraudulent activities.
Let me explain in detail. My friend trapped.

First of all they send a message like this.

They will create greed in your heart and ask for money.
After 2 hours.

And now they will ask for fee.

After giving the fee they will block you.

One example is here.

He is showing the company license but he is not the owner

He gave the website address and ask for deposit.
And my friend deposited 350$ like picture is saying everything.

And now again they are asking for more money. Check the email.

And now withdraw is on pending

The purpose of sharing to safe all the newbies and the others. Always trust on yourself you can do anything if you have ability. So be careful.

GREED IS CURSE
