Some very popular signature campaigns at the time did not have managers at all, but were managed by bots - imagine what the forum looked like then.
It is better in imagination than reality.
This literally means that no one checks the quality of posts and also the duration taken to complete the posts. Thanks to the merit system.

Personally, it is better for beginners to stay here, I have followed some groups on Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and others, the crypto is full of those groups that aim only for quick profit and scamming users.
If I use the adjective "perfect" to qualify this forum, 1
I shouldn't be blamed. Here is the only crypto forum where information is given free of charge. Where one is ready to help another in any situation.
I don't know the spirit that was used to lay the foundation of this forum. I can guess it is the spirit of brotherhood.

Maybe they saw that those newbies are the one that have been spamming nonsense things. If their account focus more on earning, likely they will do that.
Yes, and the most interesting is that old users like you have studied their moves already. Before they could move one, you have know the next step. But one funny thing is that the desire to grow by all means is not hidden by them.

This forum is good for the average user who wants to learn and know more people with experience and is ready to help you for free, which is a rare thing in other forums or in the means of communication.

The problem with the forum lies in taking it as a means of profit, which is a good thing, and perhaps the amount of 100 dollars makes a difference in many countries.

I applaud some old members who still stay around to correct newbies, I know how it feels to meet different generations of newbies who post meaningless things.
I am not upto a year in this space but some posts get me upset, let alone people that has been here more than 5yrs.

Let's say that before it was much worse when it comes to spam, in the period when I was just a beginner from 2015 until the merit system was introduced spam literally killed the forum. Some very popular signature campaigns at the time did not have managers at all, but were managed by bots - imagine what the forum looked like then.

Regardless of the fact that some may disagree, today we are in a much better position, although I think it would be even better if everyone participated in cleaning the forum by using the "report to moderator" button more. Members who do bad things only do them if they feel they are allowed to, which means ignoring the problem is not the solution but only makes it worse.

I discovered recently that some established members like ignoring newbies that show no sign of being good forum users. If a particular newbie gets ignored by 20 established members and maybe 5 merit sources, there chances of growth is already reduced.
Maybe they saw that those newbies are the one that have been spamming nonsense things. If their account focus more on earning, likely they will do that. If those newbies account are concern on learning, then its impossible for those established members to ignore. However if they still do, then dont mind them. They arent the only members who can guide newbies with potential out there.

Nice encouragement OP, hope those newbies are here and reading it.

-If it is taking you very long to increase in ranks and you almost feel like it will not be possible anytime soon, don't get discouraged, you will get there.

This is where I would disagree. We have bounty hunter accounts that were registered much earlier than some legends. Ask what's wrong with them? They chose the path of "earning money" and got used to the fact that they may not be paid, or paid little.
Ambition matters. And only with great ambitions, a person understands that he is not going to waste time on pennies, at a time when there is a chance to get much more by daily learning and understanding the value of bitcoin.
So I would say, feel free to build big goals. Learn from successful people, there is never a smooth road, but if you settle for small things, then you only blame yourself for the failures.

If newbies can start reading what people that are posting well on this forum are posting, if they read more than just spamming, they will rank up. They should know that this forum is not about ranking up, it is about having a passion for what they are discussing on this forum. The passion starts from knowing what people that are posting well on this forum are communicating, knowing what they are posting is making you become part of them.
This must be in the mindset of all newcomers/newbies here in the forum, that instead of spamming or asking anything about here in the forum they must read the important topics created by the best contributors, in order to grow up and rank up easily cause the more you read, the more you understand,
 the more you get knowledge the you become a good contributors/ a good member of this community.

Reading is more important than anything.

If you are not interested in crypto you don't need to stay here. Most of the newbies are not here because of the crypto it self, but to make money.
I'm pretty sure that if another forum, for car parts for example, giving money for wearing signatures they will be sticking there all the time, and won't bother with crypto...

Yet the money they are trying to make will come out of a crypto project isn't it? Crypto isn't left out here, developers create tokens to get rich, serious ones who cares about crypto survival creates solutions to problems but still in the end its always about the money, I come on here not just for money but knowledge too but my knowledge is still aiming at making more money.

You can't use making money as an excuse of spamming shitposts around. If you are not interested into the crypto field better find something you enjoy. Around 90% (shooting in the dark tho) are abusing the forum, because you can simply make money posting even nonsense (yes, there are still some campaign managers doing that).
So, the fact that you can make money without really doing a real job, and sometimes the amount could be significant for some poor countries, this is just an attraction for more and more people, not really interested in the concept of crypto.
And because it's relatively easy to make money here, some of them try to go around the rules and create farms of accounts, just to make even more money. Here comes the question is this behavior good or bad for the forum?

If they get discourage easily on things they think its hard for them especially on ranking up then give up, well they are not really here to learn but what they are aftering the money they can get from those person who told them that they can possibly get in this forum. But if majority of newbies will just consistent and be intact with the latest news about crypto also with happenings in the world for sure they can contribute some quality contents here and that could give them merits which can help them to rank up and earn in future.

People who want success in a hurry, who bypass the rules and think that the world revolves exclusively around themselves will always have problems no matter where they are.
That is the very big problem with beginners. How can someone get into a forum without first understanding how things work, then will begin to exploit and cause disaster and same time expect to grow. There's always a laid down proces(due process) in anything one is doing, immediately the process is bypassed for whatever reason, it could mark the beginning of troubles.

I can understand that some old members are certainly tired of reading meaningless posts over and over again, and do not visit some forum boards at all.

I befriended a newbie which I share some knowledge and pointers for further development but later on I even saw the account being banned due to plagiarism. I have a contact in social media with that person and I ask why he plagiarism and said he didn't know about it but when he started in Bitcointalk I give him the thread of Bitcointalk forum rules. After further understand and information gathering, it is because he intended to raise his rank to join signature campaign to earn money. If that's the reason then that's more likely the reason why the account is abandoned or quitting forum.

Newbies don't need to  feel bad or frustrated if the attention they want is not giving to their post. They should understand that the forum has a standard,  and if they are not meeting up the standard of the forum they shouldn't give up but try to develop self to meet to the standard of the forum. For newbies not to be relevant in the forum that means they lack what the forum needs, and it is still possible for them to learn and meet up the standard.

Everyone has the full right to use the features of the forum in the way they want, and this includes options for ignore on a personal level, as well as ignore entire boards. Although I do not go into the personal preferences of forum members, I can understand that some old members are certainly tired of reading meaningless posts over and over again, and do not visit some forum boards at all.

But this forum is not much different from the real world where everyone has to prove themselves day by day in order to progress in life. People who want success in a hurry, who bypass the rules and think that the world revolves exclusively around themselves will always have problems no matter where they are.

I know the desire to grow;
The desire to be noticed;
The desire to feel among;
If your advice to them is to stick around and be patient until they are recognised, such time might not come.
The best advice is to learn about bitcoin. There is no how any user will be ignored when he/she raises a good point about bitcoin.

Mostly newbies who join the forum are here for bounties. After a couple of month as newbies they realize that they need to rank up in order to increase their earnings. This is the time when they become frustrated as it is not so easy to rank up here when compared to other forums. Those who are not here for bounties do know that with time and knowledge they will easily rank up and use the earning opportunity here to accumulate Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.

If your being in this forum is to gain merit so you can earn money in the signature campaign then you totally getting it wrong. This forum solely aim is to enlighten you more about crypto currency and bitcoin, and also guide you on how to invest your funds in the crypto world. There are alot to learn in this forum than just ranking up and earning money.

If their sole reason of being here is to increase their rank and earn money in the first place, then they'll likely just end up getting nowhere regardless if what advice you give anyway. Even just a small decent amount of passion and genuine interest is required for someone to strive here on this forum, which a lot of Newbies don't have.

Often times here, some new forum users have been unable to develop consistency in their contributions here mainly as a result of frustration. They abandon their accounts here before they can get their footing and become an important contributor to various discussions, how sad Embarrassed...and how we other forum users have missed out on another maybe perhaps golden perspective.

This is a wake up call to newbies especially, and all those who are considering quitting forum.

-Your opinions are valid and we want you to stay. Big things always start small, don't get discouraged because there seems to be no attention on your post and no merits given regardless of your activity.

-Even if your contribution get deleted and you get criticism for your point of view, don't get discouraged, work on yourself to be better, but still remain yourself.

-If it is taking you very long to increase in ranks and you almost feel like it will not be possible anytime soon, don't get discouraged, you will get there.

It is okay to take some time off, but please do not cut us off from your perhaps golden contribution.
