Being rich doesn’t mean that the problems of every single person that is living in the society will be placed on your head. Nope, but you have  to try your best in helping people. Being greedy is evil and is never a good thing.Anyone who is rich should be helping others, there are poor kids on the streets and they need food, there are also orphanages out there that needs your help, there are beggars at the streets, you can help as much as you can.

Sad to say but I think most of the new comers are into bitcoin because of money. I am not pertaining to businesses because it's actually good for the economy. But those who are making different projects that only aims to profit are the negative ones.
We can also see here in the forum how many projects are made that creates their own coins just to profit making the cryptoworld not just confusing but also saturated.
Different coins are also causing slow transactions you know. If bitcoins are the only coins present I doubt that there is much of a problem.
What is our purposes here in the forum? That is the first question that comes to my mind when I get started in bitcointalk. Because we want to earn, we want to become wealthy and move out our family from poverty. My mind blowns when I have read the true purpose of this forum. I knew that my purpose is a self-centered but I want to come up in helping other persons when I gain money.
We have all purpose, we have diversity of intention and I believe that our individual purpose will lead to the development of the whole.

It's hard to say that Earning purposes could actually lead to development because when it comes to Monetary reasons may lead to doing bad things just to have an income.
Yes we do have individuality. It won't hurt if everybody shares different views, perceptions and own shoes to explain their purposes here but we need development. Not just someone who wants to earn and help others to earn.
The purpose of this forum is for technological evolution.
With respect to those who needed money badly. But abusing bitcoin can actually kill it. Look at it right now.

We work hard in order to satisfy our needs try to find another source of income in order to have financial freedom but since bitcoin help us in or needs its time also to make a return to our community by spreading the good news about cryptocurrency let our families and friends become a part of this forum by showing them what we have from bitcoin.

For me it's no just not earning money by using cryptocurrency but also to share knowledge on how other people can take advantage of it and use it in everyday life. Let's be honest that digital currency help us to overcome our financial difficulty and it will be better to share it to family, friends and other people that might be interested on it.

you are one of the few people that think that way OP. i am pretty sure most people are just here to make money , and i think you need these people to. while i respect your reasons to enter bitcoin , most people just aren't that interested in technology. so if you want bitcoin to succeed you basically need these people despite that they are only in it for the money.

While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!

Right on man. Really, I think it all comes down to personal accountability and integrity. Blockchain is enabling the redistribution of wealth and disintermediation of multiple marketplaces like no other force in history to date. And it's doing so in a free market way, not socialist. This is beautiful, but inevitably there are always those who will participate purely for self-gain. In the end, if we operate with integrity and influence those around us to do the same, we'll better the world and the crypto ecosystem. Those along to make money will be able to do so, and that's ok too!

I am an active member in a community that encourages or helps married people to be more united with Christ for almost five years now. I do have a well-known friend in the community, a wealthy and generous man who always extends help to the poor and needy. I admire his character that's why I join this forum hopefully to become wealthy like him and do what he did to the poorest of the poor who needs financial and spiritual help. I do believe that there are already millionaires here as pioneered bitcoin users. I'll just hope that they too are planning to get involved in community services and reach out the poor by extending financial and spiritual help to sustain their needs. We also need to invest good deeds while we're still here on earth to have a meaningful and beautiful place up above.

Unfortunately, many people come to crypto-currencies in order to earn money through speculation. But in the end, I suppose that we will use crypto-currencies as a means of payment, and new projects and technologies will change the world.

I think the main reason why people come to crypto is that they think its easy to become rich when you invest in crypto. Thats the first thing in their minds using the real functionality is disregard because we all want to hold them.

Well, we all have our reasons for being in BTC's and crypto's. Some would have noble reasons like donating to charity part of what they earned or good educational plans for their kids. Some would simply want to get rich to have a better way of living. Hell, some would've probably joined to scam others. Thing is, we don't really have control over what reasons other people have for joining or investing in BTC. What we can do, however, is try our best to be good examples to others and hope for the best.

There are lots of people in my neighborhood who really needs help. Maybe a million it is still not enough. But eventhough, if I will become rich I will extend help to my neighbor of course, those who really needs help.

it will be good if we can help them and share something that we have, maybe we cannot give money to them but we still have to give something to them which will help them to survive. and if we can be rich then I think we can give money to them so they can buy something for their life too. and if all of the bitcoin users can be a rich person, then if we are help people around us then it will be good to them and to us too.
Yeah that’s a good  way  of thinking while you in good financial standing using bitcoin as a good investment while your gaining so much and the people around you will  be benefited that s how bitcoins touches life we just don't think profit out of it but let s also think it as a medium for helping others.
You are saying right but I have some different thinking about it, becoming rich is not my first priority here in bitcoin, I want to learn more about bitcoin and share to the other people about bitcoin.  For me bitcoin is very profitable currency as it has made my life very good and I am making savings as well, so after getting much I am planning to help some poor and needy people so, it is making me financially well and socially very responsible.

This is an obligation or i call it a law of nature.

When you give then you will get back 10 times more than you give.

Like what my religion taught. Alms, infaq, and charity these are the 3 things that gives wealth.

When i have asset in bitcoin then I have to do charity in the way of God. Aamiin

Personally I believe it is possible to integrate both becoming wealthy and having a social responsibility. It would all depend on finding common grounds where both situations(wealth creation and social responsibility) meets. I'll base my suggestion on a quote by John D. Rockefeller, "every right implies a responsibility,; every opportunity, an obligation; every possession, a duty.

Being wealthy ultimately has more to do with financial freedom. It means you’re not living paycheck to paycheck. It means you’ve either saved enough that you don’t need to work every day to sustain your lifestyle or you’ve built up enough residual, passive income sources that you’re getting paid in your sleep. Hopefully those who have wealthy will help the homeless people and to the poor people in terms of financial problem.

Being Socially Responsible means that people and organisations must behave ethically and with sensitivity toward social, cultural, economic and environmental issues. Striving for social responsibility helps individuals, organisations and governments have a positive impact on development, business and society with a positive contribution to bottom-line results.

When I have wealth i must see to it that I was able to share to my family, extended or even to the needy ones, being wealthy is not only to have a lots of money but how I am able to share my wealth to others.

Yes it is not enough to gain but must also win, as in winning in terms of leaving and giving a good legacy to the people around us through what we gain. I believe that we are giving a chance here not only to profit but also to get a chance to be responsible and to care for people by giving them something to live for, using the money we share regardless of how much amount we can share.

While some people are very fond of helping others, cause they know what it was like to have nothing, and it does not matter if they have a lot of money or not too much. They're just helping.  Also there are people here who want to make a difference say, within their loality by helping their local government with public projects, but there will still be those who want personal gain. And I have to admit there are people who do not want to help others, does not matter how rich they are.

Those people who don't want to help others are people that are greedy and so selfish with their wealth. Well, this is real world and we should accept the fact that people are  have different characters. Sad to say that only few of us are willing to help others with their blessings. This is why the competition in the real world is really hard because some people are so greedy with power and position. I am hoping someday we can live with no competition and helping each other's to also live with peace and harmony.
