I really enjoyed a comment someone made on the first page mentioning that the crpyto community, especially the BTC one, are very strong together and they aren't here for just a quick profit, rather hodl.!!

But as you say social responsability, it is hard to measure, there are many people who don't even give about the technology and what bitcoin can offer.

I've been working with Bitcoin a while ago and I've earned very little, but I think that everything is ahead. I talk a lot about bitcoin to friends, everyone treats bitcoin differently. Someone does not believe in its existence, but someone is interested. I think when I I will earn a lot, I will be engaged in charity.

Becoming wealthy is not my top priority here in bitcoin. I want to learn more about bitcoin and sharing to other people about bitcoin and helping them. And also i want to gain profit just to support my family in their daily needs.

Nice to hear about your social responsibilities and about your kind nature towards the Humanity. But here at first most of the people come for earning money and then slowly as the money becomes secondary they move to some other goal. And i think for making them socially responsible, you just need to add some spark to them which I think this post is doing to a certain level. Yes even I don't consider myself wealthy and I don't want to be on the wealthy list where some kind of attitude arises in me and destroys the Human being in me. I always try to change the people and help the persons who are around me and connected with me for any reason and bitcoin has supported me in a great manner. This generation guys are really doing a tough job in helping each other and I will be supporting them wherever I can do.

While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!

It is just like you are saying we rebel to the world and the governments itself. If the people who made fortune out of Bitcoin will be revealed, maybe most of them will be charge with something that they didn't even do. Instead of showing themselves they keep quite and hidden for their own security. If you are that willing to help, why not go find your self a charity or build one, and go to places that needed help.

I think I got what you want to say here exactly but the thing is people have already moved themselves into something better world by accepting that bitcoin is the quickest way to get rich. What do you think, how many people are there who wants to focus on the bitcoin technology and it's advances?at en 10% or max %25 but that is also looks far fetched to me. I'm sure that most of us and honestly I'm here to earn money with bitcoin. People can not be as honest as I am saying that openly and only few like you would care about the tech advances in the field of bitcoin. I think we need people or more or less student with educational background on blockchain technology then only it can move further and get that right status quo. :-)

It all depends on one's perception. There are those who will donate some of their profit to charity and there are those who will spend it on luxury or it could be both. Greed is taking over right now for those who bought BTC without the knowledge of its true purpose but I hope that someday they learn from their mistakes and use what they have learned to make profit as well. Surely, those who have invested early and made profits today have their own stories and mistakes to tell.

Bit degree is new ICO project which is came in the marketplace for helping the people who want to learn about the crypto currency platform. This kind of social concern project should come to the market. By the way they will be able to make the money and you will get the social responsibility also included in that.

Unfortunately just a few realy wealthy people are social responsible and sensitive, just a few realy care about the poor and needed and donate their money with true intentions.
People who are wealthy in Bitcoin are not much different. It's probably true that early adopters didn't get into Bitcoin because of profit and they truly wanted different system not so much depending on banks. But today is not like that anymore, there are just few enthusiasts many other just want profit for themselves.

It is true that with great power comes with great responsibility. Therefore, all the money that we earn because of whatever bitcoin or other crypto activities that we are doing, we must not forget to give to our family, friends, and most importantly to help others in need.

lets all remember 50% of the wealth in the world is controlled by 1% of the population.
Consumerism is growing, people think they NEED the latest gadget or fashion item.
Social media is having a negative effect on peoples lives.
EVERYONE wants to be wealthier.
The divide between the HAVE's and the HAVENOT's is growing.
When i see the wealthy doing charity work etc. I dont think much of it, its easy to give a single digit percentage away.
Bitcoin doesnt change anything, money makes money, the more you have the more you earn, generally speaking.

Bitcoin has changed my perspective in saving and investing money, I suppose by saving money for a long time can make me richer, but the reality is not so. With lots of cuts and little flowers, I then turned to Bitcoin.

Saving would definitely make you richer and the best example is btc. People who had saved the btc for now would have got really very good profits. On other hand those who keep spending on unnecessary stuff would now be regretting of not holding the coins which could have made them more rich than what they are at present.

Business men and greedy people are destroying Bitcoin by using the network just to make more money but I can't blame them.
People are killing each other around the world because of money why do you think they will care about Bitcoin network!
What is ironic is that the most wealthy man Satoshi Nakamoto, never used his BTCs which makes him the most honorable man
or just a dead man.

People who came with such a vision in early days thought it to be the future world because this technology exhibited some different and unique traits. New people who are entering it want to think the same but this technology is not really the same now. Even the old people have now changed their opinion towards it.

A lot of people that are involve in Bitcoin might have the eagerness to earn more. This is because, sometimes the money that a person receives from their work's salary and/or allowance is not enough.

In my case, by means of Bitcoin, I want to help my family by being able to provide for myself. With this, they will maximize our monthly budget to other necessary stuff- like the school allowance of my siblings and some bills to be paid. Furthermore, this will also help me to have self-discipline and by not easily tempted of spending too much on my 'wants'.

I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and I can feel how you want to give back and share your blessings. I hope that everyone here understands that we are not only responsible for ourselves but especially to those who are in need of help, since we are not just man for ourselves in this world but also man for others. Somehow I believe that we are all connected to one another in different ways and aspect and this is why we should learn to value social responsibility. I believe that if we learn to genuinely care for others, we would be blessed a thousandfold back. So let us all learn to share and be a blessing to others, not only this season but everyday.

of course the people getting involved now are in it to make money. it's slowly being sanitised and most people don't care about financial sovereignty. they believe millions of dollars equals financial sovereignty. maybe they'll get schooled in this while they still have bitcoins and before they change to dollars. until then expect the original ideals to get more diluted.

as for me if i reached a set figure that i require then anything beyond that would be given away.
