What a huge loss Club Brugge got against Gent. I really don't know what happened to Club Brugge that caused them to lose to a weaker team with a huge score like 6-1. Because they didn't start to the league badly also. This is an embarrassing result for them and they should work harder to make up for this shocking result. As long as they stay focused, they can continue from where they left.
Yes it was a shock for me too i did not expect that performance especially against gent team they did not had a great performance but they are a big team also and it could happen i think the early 2 goals in the first 15 minutes played a major role and they bruge players were out of the game which made it easier for gent to score that many goals.

Club Brugge lost 1:6 from Gent, in a fair game, but Gent scored everything they shot on target and Brugge had missing festival
it is interesting to see match when team had possession, control and lost with 6 goals conceived

nevertheless, it is just bad day, and Brugge will be back for CL group stage and title fight

Most surprising result this round and I don't think anybody would have predicted this scoreline  Tongue. One of the biggest losses for Club Brugge and they need to regroup if they for the upcoming CL match.
I have the feeling that this season that Club will not be able to win the title, but we are only a couple of matches underway.

interesting round in Belgium, there is no team that has three wins after three rounds, Brugge did not started in their best, with two home draws

nevertheless, third round winner is Michael Frey, new addition to Antwerp scored 5 goals (yes, five) in a derby vs Standard Liege, and made it to the scorers top list, with six goals in total, that was a first win for Antwerp, that invested a lot in this team, and probably expect title fight in Belgium and at least to pass Europa league group stage

Another draw at home by Club Brugge. Just when you think they win the game Waldo Rubio made the scene and said the last word. This is what happens when you are leading whole game and couldn't find second goal, you get punished. Maybe Clement should put Bas Dost on to the pitch 20 minutes earlier, things could've been different. This is not a good start for Club Brugge. I'm sure they will tidy up on upcoming matches but point losses in home games always upset fans.

OP, can you change title to Belgian Jupiler League 21/22? That would look better.

The 21/22 season has started! And I see that Club Brugge have had a little problematic start. Because they were nearly being defeated by Eupen. They barely saved one point by scoring in the 90+13th minute which was really insane. They had a difficulty in winning against St. Gilloise also. They managed to score in the 84th minute finally and won the game 1-0 away. This seems like a sign that they are still not fully ready for the season. But this may change in the coming games of course.

second round results in Jupiler league

Antwerp lost second match, in two rounds, so they are now alone at the bottom, hopefully this would see de Wolf back as first goalkeeper, and Butez back on bench
Kortrijk is alone at the top, with two wins, Brugge and Charleroi are within top6

It didn't happened - game ended 2:2. Brugge only managed to equalise score on 103th minute of game - I watchd only end of game and have no idea why referee had to add 10 minutes to the game.
In other game Anderlecht lost to newly promoted Union Saint-Gilloise.
Currently Genk losing against Sint-Truiden 2:1
1st round is full of surprises.

Luckily I didn't play then. Smiley
Club Brugge over 1.5 goals bet OK but they couldn't win the game. Bas Dost scored from penalty and De Ketelaere scored in extra time.
Anderlecht lost at home, now that's a surprise. It just shows we shouldn't play side bets at the start of the season. There are too much uncertainties. I'll just stick to over goal bets if I make bets in Jupiler League. 8 of 9 games finished over 1.5 goals in first week.

Club Brugge will beat AS Eupen but odds are too low so I might try for home teams over 1.5 goals or handicap -1 depending on odds.

It's nice to see Belgian league is back before other major leagues. You can always watch young talented guys in this league before they move on to top five leagues with big transfer fees.
Standard Liege and Genk started with a draw. Club Brugge will beat AS Eupen but odds are too low so I might try for home teams over 1.5 goals or handicap -1 depending on odds. Anderlecht odds are quiet good against Union Saint-Gilloise. I would pick their win and parlay with Liege game. Union Saint-Gilloise just promoted from second league, I don't think they can keep up with top teams like Anderlecht.

The Jupiler League is underway and it started earlier than other big leagues too. As we all know, the last champions are Club Brugge. The champions are going to host Eupen tomorrow and have their first game in the new season. And I think that they will have a really good start by defeating their opponent with a decent score.

While most European top leagues haven't started yet, if you're missing football, Belgian league is good thing to watch. Though, in 1st round there is no must watch games, but maybe I will turn on Liege - Genk game. On the other hand, Hamburger - Schalke in 2nd Bundesliga sounds interesting too.
I see nobody haven't mentioned, last weekend Brugge won Supercup after beating Genk 3:2.

since my sorare account is heavily dependent on Jupiler league players, new season start is really important, and it is this weekend

Brugge is playing Eupen, Mechelen is playing Antwerp, while everything starts tonight in Liege, where Standard is playing Genk
regarding transfers, Brugge lost Kossounou yesterday, since he signed for Leverkusen, will be a bite on their defense, but mainly for Europe, since Brugge should be dominant in Jupiler this season as well

two more weeks for Jupiler league to start, and interesting transfers are coming up there

Noa Lang is back with Brugge, after 12 goals last season in Ajax second team, as most notable confirmed transfer to date
Yaremchuk performance on Euro2020 was noticed, and there is "soon to be confirmed " rumour that he will join Wolfsburg next season, that could impact Gent attack, with Yaremchuk scored 17 goals last season

Antwerp signed Balikwisha from Standard, which proves their top ambitions for next season

will be an interesting season, starting on 23.07.

league is finished, and top4 continues in Championship group, Brugge is 8 points ahead, which is more than enough to secure the title in last six rounds. Much more fight will be for second Champions league position, although it is just for qualifications, and it would be hard for them to skip all competition and get-into Group stage
Antwerp is on 30 points now, Anderlecht on 29 points and Gent is fourth with 28 points, interesting times ahead for Jupiler league finish

Club Brugge really have a big advantage in the Championship Group. I've no doubt that Anderlecht, Antwerp and Genk all will do their best to fight for the title but I see their chance being quite low. But there will be a huge competition for the 2nd place to be able to promote to the CL qualification it's for sure.

They say you can see the sun since early morning meaning that Club Brugge has dominated the Jupiler League this year and their way of playing have been much better than that of their opponents. It is really hard for them to lose the title in the Championship group as they are the better team here.

Charleroi and Club Brugge are going to play their missing game against each other in 2 days. Club Brugge have already a big advantage before playoff games but they will want to gather as many points as possible now of course. Charleroi have a bad form lately but they still are 3 points away from promoting to the EL Group. They will definitely want to beat C. Brugge here. They managed to do it away 1-0 once and they may do it again home. But it will be hard for them surely.

Anderlecht's point loss against Mechelen was a surprising thing for me. I was expecting them to win and take the 4th place. Anderlecht were so dominant in the game but it was still inadequate for a win. They have the same points with the 4th Oostende now and there are still 4 games before the playoffs. I believe that Anderlecht will manage to be in the CL group.

i would not bet on that one, they are good team, but most of their dominance is in the name, and name does not play on the pitch
Oostende has good team, their form is fair at the moment, and that will be a tight race, where others could also jump in, since point difference is small, and there is no team in winning strike or something
