The second half of Kortrijk-Genk match has started. Genk didn't give their competitor much chance in the first half by taking the control. But Kortrijk scored first in the 23rd minute. Genk scored the equalizer in the 41st minute. I think Genk will be the winner here.
St. Liege are going to play a home game against Waasland-Beveren on next Monday. St. Liege are the 11th with 25 points and Waasland-Beveren are the 16th with 19 points. St. Liege haven't got a win in the league for 8 matches which is really bad. After having a 5-match unbeaten streak (4W 1D), Waasland-Beveren didn't get a win on their last 3 matches (2L 1D). St. Liege really need a win now and I think they will beat Waasland-Beveren here.
Genk won very easily against Eupen tonight (4-1). Actually Eupen played not too bad. They got 20 shots but only 3 of them were on target. They had a big problem on taking shots on goal. Onuachu made a hat-trick and I think he was the man of the match for certain.
There is a nice competition between Club Brugge and Genk for being the leader now. Club Brugge have 39 points in 19 matches. Genk have 35 points in 18 matches. Charleroi and Anderlecht are waiting for them to make mistakes and close the gap on them. I think the closest team to be the champion is Club Brugge.
Beerschot VA are going to play a home game against Gent this weekend. Beerschot VA are the 7th with 28 points and Gent are the 9th with 25 points. I expect a close game. There is a really interesting statistics about Beerschot VA. They are not only the most scoring team but also the most conceding team. They scored 39 goals and conceded 40 in 18 matches. They have been losing for 4 matches. Gent won 3 of their last 4 matches. They lost to Kortrijk 1-0 away on their last match but they got a red card. Despite having a red card, they played really good. I think we will watch at least 3 goals in this match. Also, I think Beerschot will end their losing streak here.
Anderlecht are going to play an away game against Leuven next week. Anderlecht are the 4th with 32 points and Leuven are the 6th with 29 points. Anderlecht have had a good form lately. They got just one loss (which was to Charleroi) on their last five matches. They are getting close to the top places. Leuven have had a bad performance for 3 matches. They got two losses and one draw on these matches. Leuven got their last win against Anderlecht seven years ago. In my opinion, this will be a hard match but Anderlecht will win this.

St. Truiden are playing a home game against Beerschot VA right now. The match is going on very balanced. St. Truiden won their last two matches and it gave them a confidence on this match. Beerschot VA lost their last three matches and they are not on a good form. I think the advantageous team on this match is St. Truiden. But it is hard to make a guess clearly about who can win. In my opinion, St. Truiden won't lose this.

After having a bad form, Anderlecht started climbing to the top. They played against Beerschot VA yesterday evening. They played very good in general and got an easy 2-0 win at Lotto Park. Nmecha scored the first goal from penalty and the last goal came from Mukairu.

Standard Liege at home surprisingly lost to St. Truiden 1:2. Before this round St. Truiden were last on the table. It's worth to mention that for more than 30 minutes, Standard had one man more on the pitch after red card. On last minutes Standard had great chamce to make result 2:2, but goalkeeper made amazing save.
Gent played an away match against Kortrijk this evening. They won three times in a row in the league before this match. They came here with a big confidence. But they got an unfortunate red card and lost the match 1-0.
Club Brugge are playing an easy home game against Eupen now. They are 3-0 ahead. They got a red card a few minutes ago but they still managed to score their 3rd goal now. This will be an easy win for them.
Club Brugge are going to play a home match against Eupen tomorrow. Club Brugge got a shocking loss against Gent last week. They played so good and they were the dominant team. But Gent managed to secure the win somehow. After an unexpected loss to Gent, I think Club Brugge will be hungry for the win here and they will demolish Eupen.

Tonight, we saw an awesome match between Cercle Brugge and Charleroi. After bringing the score to 2-0, Cercle Brugge got an unfortunate red card. After that, Charleroi started taking the control of the match and they managed to bring the score to 2-3. But Cercle Brugge didn't give up on the match and brought the score to 3-3 in the last minutes of the match. But Charleroi showed that they really wanted this win and scored their 4th goal 2 minutes after the Cercle Brugge's 3rd goal. That was really enjoyable to watch.

.On another note, Thorup, head coach for Genk has already left the building after 6 weeks. He will now be the headcoach of FC Copenhagen. I think it was a surpise for everyone and hopefully Genk can find quickly another head coach.
