Cardano is a great coin to trade today. because the price is high enough and good will produce big enough profit. so running the trade will be very profitable. so when this high price is a good opportunity to run it and not to miss this. in order to reach for in a fairly quiet market.

if you want to know what is the best alts for trading first for me you should look unto the coin you wanted to trade and make a comparison between those coin in your option. Everyday alts price are going down and up so it is not hard for you to do that comparison and do the trade.

I see a lot of good altcoin for day trades because usually the market price is also unstable so sometimes altcoin cannot guarantee for day one but you can see altcoin that can trade long term and can be profitable

There is no specific alt for day trading in my own opinon, I just go for coins with huge trading volume, they deliver more half of the times.
As I know, the best altcoin for daily trading would be the coin that has volume. Then, its value will go up and down many times due to volume and many are looking at it if it will reach strong support and resistance and price action thus you can have many trading opportunities. The top coins in coinmarketcap currently are ETH, Bitcoin Cash and XRP. However, for me, it must be really careful before deciding to engage on day trading. We do know most people would say here that day trading is profitable but without knowing the risk, you would surely lose up money if you do jump without any proper knowledge and skills. This is why we should make sure steps before engaging and I'm sure it would be tough on the very first place.
I think the best alt for day trading for now is TRX, because the increase and decrease in price so fast and it can make us get fast profit. 
You will have to research market about it. Choose 1-2 coins according to your knowledge which move in day trading. See its movement in some days and do work then. For this, check ethereum and rdd.
In a world of bad advice, especially financial, it can be extremely hard to find someone who’s actually trying to help others and not only themselves. The fact of the matter is most people who give out advice in cryptocurrency or just in general fall under the spell of confirmation bias and end up shilling what they’ve bought so they can tend to a decent profit.
I personally don't support day trading. I believe more in longterm investments. If you are patient enough then you should try for long term investments. Believe me, they bring you good profit.
The Best alt for day trading? Well, I also consider this question. I'm not a day-trader so I actually don't know so much which is best. But, seen from the altcoin itself, ETH is a good one. We may also consider the presence of LTC, NEO or stellar. They have good chances for day-trading.
The right decision is not to trade every day. In the crypto-currency market, it depends a lot on news, and important news do not come out every day.

any high volume trading coin will do the trick.However,i'd choose ETH over for example btc as bitcoins is more risky and very volatile in its price and unless you are an experienced trader,you GONNA LOSE!
It seems to me that now one of the best coins for day trading is Ethereum, as its price jumps up and down very much. You can also use the coin of ADA.
The coins with high volatility range is better for day trading and I don't think ethereum will suit in that case because it is one of the stable crypto.But there is no best coin for trading it will change periodically according to the market situation so OP can goto CMC and better choose some coins with high peaks in the price chart. 
I think in 2018 now, the most profitable and promising coin is ethereum. ethereum is the third largest coin in the world after bitcoin and ripple. initially ethereum is able to sit in second position until the end of December. unfortunately ripple successfully headed ethereum position. ethereum will be a coin or alt which gives us many advantages.
etherum can still be believed to serve as one of the best to make short-term investments. where ethereum now has a good price increase and significant.that's right, dude. so we can combine between ethereum and bitcoin for short-term and long-term investments, I'm sure the results will be higher and add more by collecting some other coins like cardano and waves.
