I feel if the product  and project is good it will speak for itself. People would close their eyes and  invest if it is Vitalik. No offence to Vinny he might be good, but he needs to produce block busters with new projects then the crypto will go to moon.

I am a newbie and hope you dont mind on my suggestions.

I think CIVIC Is the project in which everyone should invest as the projects has a very unique idea and the project seems to be really promising without any doubt. The CEO of the project is vinny lingham and he is a very experienced man in his field. The project really has a good team.

I still consistently hold Eth, Strat and Waves. Because they are altcoins that i consider very strong and allow to give a good growth on my crypto investment.

I prefer smaller cap coins since they have higher chances for bigger x profit then big caps,most of this coins are pumped on every 2-3 months its just about find the right ones

ALT coins have the potential to grow bigger, that's my opinion. I'm always reading the forum and news about and I am really fascinated by their strategy and now they're gonna have new partners. This is great.

if just for keeping value, that must be bitcoin, its very stable with a bright future, the value must go up for a long term, but if for gaining profits, ico or new coins with huge potential will be a better choice, but its high risk

In my opinion, one of the really promising Altcoins to collect is Stratis platform, which is actually developed to fulfill the objectives of business and service providers that are in need of C# blockchain applications to be developed, tested and used on the basis of the .Net framework. Considering the growing popularity of IT field nowadays, the demand for such platform may be really competitive.

No advertising here, just my opinion 

I think ethereum and litecoins are the two coins which are surely worth investing as these two coins have a very good developement team and the popularity of these two coins is very high which makes them fit for investment.

first you buy a pizza for 10,000 btc, but not now .. you can buy a lot of pizza with 1 btc only. it is very likely because bitcoin prices on this day reach the highest point. immediately buy bitcoin and wait for fly bitcoin prices. for a good coin for me eth because like bitcoin the price is fluctuating and makes me gain profit. although votality is not as bitxoin but this coin is also popular

5 years is long time. i'm not see altcoin good for long term and but if you wanna invest for long term bitcoin is best choice
because invest in altcoin for long term very high risk

I think you should buy MTH because this altcoin is really very potential and will definitely make a lot of profit if they get a good paying product. Monetha is now very cheap and we should invest in this altcoin for 2 years

For me it is going to be ethereum because look at their price. They have been successful in this couple of years and I know that they will continue to grow in the future. Me personally I also have ethereum in my wallet, I'm still holdong it and I'm not planning to sell that yet because I'm hoping to get much more profit that I will today if I sell it already. I am strongly agree with you. The ethereum is one of many altcoin which has good growing. The price also stable. And also many of altcoin can be bought by ethereum. So not only bitcoin that we can use to buy altcoin.

This question is belong to many people who work on altcoin. But the answer of every people is not the same. They have their own opinion. If there are more expert/experience people join on this thread and they suggest any coin. I think that coin might be a good choice.

Right now it's TAAS seems to be the one with good potential. It keeps fluctuating, but the value it holds is quite high and it provides dividend for the users holding it, which seems to provide more trust over the asset compared to several other assets that exist regularly.

I plan to collect PlusCoin (PLC), because the project is very promising with a good team and development plans. In a year I'll see what happens
