Those are 3 very good options for the long term but I think you should look for new projects better because this market has a lot of options for you during this time. I like to pick less known coins and this is how I have made a lot of profit during the past few years. However, the risk will be higher than other projects but if you research carefully, you will definitely find a suitable project.
Agree, choosing a potential new project is better than an old project that is already famous in the Crypto world, My advice is that you can choose the Tachyon Network project, they have just completed a good Bounty campaign by giving some of their tokens, IPX, to Bounty participants. I am personally very optimistic about this IPX token that it will be a big token in 2020.

this all depends on the state of the market. but we can see how the altcoin trade dominance will occur. ethereum might still be the best because they are already planning an update next year. but look at BNB and maybe there will be a surprise for new arrivals coins next year. we will not know the certainty of what will happen in the future. we wait.
In this year the binance coin (BNB) are one of great coin from its ICO price which is 0.1$ to its current price right now which is around 15$+. We do not know if the new arrival coins will have a chance to beat the well known coins like bitcoin, ethereum and many more. Even we don't what will happen in the future I'm sure bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and binance coin will remain on the top.

There is no $15, the market will be dead by the time it will happen, let's just be realistic here, instead, expect it will rise back as it has dip already.
Personally, I will wait for this coin to rise slowly until 2020 and predict that ETH will probably reach $500 again as this is the price that many people are waiting for.
Definitely ETH is a great choice if you are looking for an altcoins to invest.
Projects using ETH Tokens are big in this market, if they will rise again, it will help ETH to rise, or could be the other way around.

i personally still believe the top altcoins so far still have a good reputation for continuing to get better in the next few years, so i don't think there will be such a big change later when the bullish trend comes, because after all the top coins so far can still survive on same position although sometimes the drop is greater than the coins below it
It needs more years before we finally see a better future for top altcoins. Temporarily, there's no progressive increase in value and even the old projects seemed to be more affected with the resistance that has been caused by many underlying issues that were beyond our control so far. I only hope strong holders will survive and can manage themselves not to panic.
